Can't 32A users run 32B ROMs with a 32A kernel(unless they're using the 6.x radio)?

Sorry for a noob question, but I have to ask cause I'm somewhat surprised that there is virtually no mention of android 2.0 in this forum..
So.. is ADP 2.0 source out already? and what, if anything, needs to be tweaked to make it run on a Dream?

There are currently many devs cooking up this port to the dream currently from the Sholes. The topics have simply gotten pushed down because of no recent activity.

First post and allready asking stuff.
I'm starting on making themes and although I have read a lot of stuff I can't get it.
Major questions:
- Do I need to have a custom rom to make themes? Can I install a theme on a standard, factory clean android magic?
- What are those RC33, Rc30, etc... And how do I know what do I have?
At the moment I have a stock HTC magic 32A. The only non standard thing in it, is it's rooted.
The build number only says: CL#33743 (no RC stuff...).
Any help would be appreciate.

I've allready readed that post (and most of the links in it), and still got the same questions.
They only talk about G1/dream and all those RCXX... The problem my magic says CL#33743. Am I missing something here? Do I need to install a RCXX image?

afaik you have to be rooted to install themes, an exception is when you are using a home replacement.
RC stands for Release Candidate and its just a version numbering thing i guess...

Yeah, I tried instead of just asking.
After a few more reading I realise I was making some confusion. I have a rooted phone so I just adb pull the files I needed to theme (framework-res, htclauncher, etc...) changed the drwable files and adb push them again
It's kinda of what a update.zip does but with more files. Nothing better that trying
Now I just don't know why some people ressign apk's, but I guess a little more reading will fix that too.

I was curious if themes on this forum section can be ported/used to N21 phone which uses standard Android system?
Because i liked many of themes here but cannot figure out how to get them on my N21 phone.

i doubt they'd work ... if you need to hack an android phone .. you should always go with an HTC device... prefereably one that runs stock android ..

I saw the metamorph post here, and i thought... I have the rom of N21 the modified one, can I use metamorph or something else to modify the design of that specific ROM ?

I used metamorph and one theme a guy gave me, and it changed my taskbar to black and selection to green which is a good thing, i would like some more tweaking of this particular phone if its possible, if anyone knows anything related.
And one more question, by using metamorph can I break something on my device?

A week ago i rooted my vodafone 32b magic and installed a new spl. since then i've flashed a lot of roms. Mostly sense roms. I now have installed droideris 1.2 from kingxkxlick but bluetooth and htc sync doesn't seem to work. Anyone here who knows a good sense rom with working bluetooth, wifi, gps and htc sync. What version of android it has is not important. So 1.5/1.6/2.0/2.1 as long as it is stable flashable to vodafone 32b

You're in the right section. Try this.
I know i have to search. But i've tried a lot of roms and none of them seems to have working htc sync and bluetooth enabled. Only one i can find is Where is my hero rom which doesn't have a download link

Really????????Really????????? A simple SEARCH will show that there is NO SUCH THING AS A SENSE ROM FOR 32B WITH WORKING BLUETOOTH AND THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT! In addition to searching you should also READ what comes out of the search.
I see it now. What a waste of time installing those roms . Now i flashed cupcake revolution which has bluetooth and sync. Only problem is that it will only sync contacts. I know magic is only supposed to sync contacts according to htc website but is there any method to make outlook calendar sync?
