Proud owner of the HD2 Android, pls share your screeshot (Android only) here ..Please stated the applications or widgets that have been used as well. Hooray...

ok i've been using android before (1.5 and 1.6) then switched to hd2's winmo.... then now back to android... but not once have I figured out how to take a screenshot of my phone's screen lol....
can you point me in the right direction??

There's a few screen capture apps in the market. I haven't tried any of them out but I've seen a few people posting their Android screens over in the themes and apps section so somebody has them working...

i like your wallpaper "iWhat?"

Any decent suggestions for free picture hosting? I'd love to post some screens of my setup but don't have anywhere to host them.

I also used imageshack.us and when it's done i used the Direct link, not the Link.

Just uploaded it to Facebook who I believe allows remote linking, now the only question is, how do I embed it?

if you have root, there is an app call shootme http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/com.bw.picme.local/
if you don't have root, or if you have android sdk installed for adb and other uses, there is an app in /android-sdk/tools/ call ddms.bat click on that it will bring you into a debug menu, from there you can also take photos

Beautiful Widgets (The 1x1 and 4x1 weather widgets are slick)
SiMi Clock (looks pretty good, transparent text gives you a nice dark background for other widgets)

What clock is that , and where did you get those beast text icons?

Does anybody know of any widgets that work the same as "People" and "Facebook" widgets of Launcher Pro?
I want to apply something like that , the only problem is I'm in love with ADW Launcher Ex...

Yup this is awesome. Works very well with Minimalistic Text too.
Unfortunately beware of force closes with some widgets so take precautions.
Also many widgets can't scale properly in 1x1 or 2x1 tiles.

Been noticing that. Seems every widget so far force closes on me, or restarts the browser.

Sundroid sun or moon looks good in 2x1. Genie looks ok as 2x1, scaled slightly though... Folders work too which is a huge bonus.
Ahh... so fresh and so clean, clean.

The app already displays this info with nice big numbers so not sure why change it? It would only use extra cpu/memory....

I had a force close with System Info Widget 1x1. But after reinstalling launcher 7, I had no problems adding the widget. So maybe you try doing a reinstall?

Nice thread, you beat me to it. Im currently using beautiful widget 1x1 weather too...the best! Moving on..... If you have the statusbar not visable, then using minimalistic text widget to disply the time in the tile is a great option!
If anyone finds a music player widget that fills the whole 1x1 2x1 tile with the 'now playing' album image please let me know in here. I have treid playerpro, mortplayer rockitplayer, but none of the them can cover the whole tile with the album cover picture.

i remember before going to MIUI roms, I used to have enom's rom and he had a music widget mod that only had an album art with a previous

Still, it's the best solution for now.

Agreed. Just tried it. It does sit too close to the top but it is the best so far if you set it to 4x2. Another problem with it is that it only works with the stock player.

[WIDGETS] Ripped From LG Optimus 2X Phone | Weather, Clocks, News, & More

F.Y.I - These were only tested on a Captivate running Serendipity 7 (2.3.3). I do not know if they will work on other ROMS, but give it a shot. They should work on other Gingerbread ROMS (not sure about Froyo). If you test them please report back in the thread and I will update the OP with confirmed working / not working on ROMS.

Everything seems to be working fine with Mosaic IV, except the Weather & Clock widget. I got it working, but it took about 5 or 6 tries. Gives an error about no apps to perform a funtion.
I was gonna quote the error, but the last time I tried, it worked!
UPDATE: Damnit! Crashed after waking a few minutes later.

So I’ve never used launcher 7 before. How do I switch out the default icons with these? I see the option to edit when I tap the icon and it has the option to select a image from a SD card but it doesn’t work. Do I need the paid version to do that or do I need to download desktop visualizer?

donate is the better between then the lite. plus it gives you extra features that the lite doesn't offer.

Try getting it up by tonight. I'll make some tomorrow on my day off. I feel like making contact title 1x1 of people I mostly talk to plus a,good g+ tile.

Here you go, just paste whatever picture over the other one, but make sure it is the bottom layer. Then change the text, simples! The font is MV Boli size 18, just incase you dont have it. It also has a simple texture applied to the top of it.
