Can someone please post the apk for the new beach live wallpaper on the froyo release? I downloaded it and tried to get inside the exe to find it myself but couldn't. I don't plan on flashing this rom just yet so I was wondering if someone could help me out.

Will this only work on 2.2? I'm trying to get this to work on my fascinate but after looking in assets/properties.text, I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

It wouldn't surprise me if you must have Froyo to run this live wallpaper. There's not a reason for it, but it might be signed or something for 2.2 only. Sorry

i tried this on my 2.1 captivate, 2.1 dell streak, and 2.2 nexus one and they all crash.

there should be an odex file in the same directory as the apk file. can you please post the odex file as well?
any experts out there have any solution to get it running on 2.1 ?

The wallpaper works on my vibrant thats using a flashed 2.2 rom the first time I tried it forced closed so I unistalled it and redownloaded it and been workin ever since thanks I lov the wallpaper
yeah it appears to only work on froyo samsung devices as far as I can tell

are their any apks floating around with LWPs like neural network or nexus or galaxy? They were on kaoslegendary but they were buggy, so im now on extROM and LWPs run very smooth, but i cant seem to find an apk for the ones i like. im not a fac of nexusmod, it FCs on extROM.

i will try and pull them out of kaos legendary and post them up here (if possible) but don't get your hopes to high

go to theunlockr.com and download the rom eris_LP_0_1.zip and there will be a live wallpapers.apk file and install that file. and they will be the original files there
Here's the .apk extracted from hotwingz2180's link, so you don't have to download the whole 100mb file.
It added the stock wallpapers to my list, but I got force closes when I selected them. Maybe you will have better luck.

thx for the apk! i put it on my phone and everything worked right... but when i try and preview a lwp it just crashes... and if i try and set it, it just goes back to a regular default wallpaper. im on leak root cyanogen 6.

I searched on the internet and replaced the original music.apk with the one I downloaded from the net using root explorer. The file was in the system/apps
But I can't see those widgets. I asked this question in that topic but I get the advise to ask it around. Now here is the topic. I an sure more people love this widget.
Is there any way I can get it work on my x10 without importing another rom. According to some one it usually comes in a rom, so there must be a way to get it working.

For users of the newly released sense froyo ROMs who can't stand the stock sense launcher I whipped up a quick espresso style morph (search for Metamorph here or the market) to hold everyone over until they are done getting this fully working so you don't have to deal with that pathetic stock launcher (odd considering HTC are essentially mobile interface gods to many of us here).
WORKAROUND FOR REPORTED ISSUE:
If you run into any issues it seems unzipping it outside of MM and dropping it into /sdcard/AndroidThemes manually should work around it.

For those who asked about 2.1, yes should work fine. Nothing but PNGs are in this morph so it will work on any rosie launcher.

I couldn't get this one in this thread to do anything period because it's not signed right according to Metamorph, but the one in the link I posted worked like a charm for xtrSense 4.6.

just fyi for anyone running Tenzo 2.2 Sense, this mm theme hangs while applying the htc.resources and then gets caught in a boot loop. I'll try to just apply the rosie theme and see if that takes at all.
EDIT: I knew it was a longshot to use a 2.1 theme on a 2.2 rom, but yeah it didn't take at all. Hopefully either i can figure out how to do hakkeshou's one or he will fix it.
It should work if you press menu in metamorph and then settings then check the box that says Disable all warnings, I extracted the entire zip into its own folder in androidthemes.

Thanks for feedback. Since I made the morph I just copied the filer to /sdcard/AndroidThemes so the issue seems to be caused by using MM to unzip the theme folder into that folder.
Odd but but at least my hunch was verified to be correct. I'll update the OP.
Hey guys, I've tried searching around with no luck. I was working a little too fast uninstalling At&t bloatware and accidentally removed the Picture Gallery. I cannot seem to find a way to reinstall it. I've enabled non-market apps and have tried installing a few apk's from the forums but it always results in "application was not installed". Can someone please help me out?

You can't just reinstall a system app like you would a non market app. You have to take the gallery.apk and use root explorer to place it in the appropriate location, which would be system/app.

You're still running stock? If so, you're gonna need to copy and paste both of these files into System/App through root explorer.
The apk is the actual Gallery. You have to unzip the other folder first!!!! Then move that file in with the apk.
That worked thanks! Yea I'm running stock. I've tried may ROMs but all the little bugs really bother me. Stock runs prefect and quite honesty, performance increase isn't very significant. Plus, I've customized it quite well to have most of the same features of 2.2+.

heyy im having the same problem but i have a droid x. i know i need the .odex file. but my gallery is just gallery.apk not the 3D gallery? can anyone help me getting the .odex file and how to install it again? i believe i have the right gallery app. i just need the odex file to go with it and instruction if it different from the ones above.

i tried. people have the same problem but they still have the odex. i dont think it will function without it. at least i've tried n still no good. i'm waiting for a response hopefully they upload yet. but so far no one has. so i'm trying to find a solution wherever i can.
I am using an i9000 theme that has not been ported over to the captivate but works just fine; however, I'd like to change "favourites" in the dialer to "favorites". Can anyone let me know which file in the apk I need to modify?

I actually pulled a stock 2.3.3 from jv1 or jvb can't remember. Edited /res/values/strings.xml, compiled it then dropped in all the themed images
