Hey xda, only a quick question this time.
Does stock 2.1 have flash 10.1? And is any development for a standard flash 10.1 apk from adobe for arm6 processors going on for any arm6 phone? I've used several 2.1 and the only 2.2 rom w/flash 10.1, and they all lag a lot. Would using jit remedy this? Or a increase or decrease in the size in vm heaps? Or is a complete rewrite of the flash 10 apk necessary? I'm willing to do that, If any devs can pitch in and help write the code.
This would be a big step in development for the hero, so I would be happy to do anything I can to rewrite flash player and make it optimized for our hero's arm6 processor.

Hey,
So I'm interested in overclocking my I9000M, but I wasn't sure if I could flash a I9000 kernel onto my phone (how much difference does that "M" make?)
If anyone could link me to a good kernel for overclocking my I9000M, and maybe a quick how-to, I would very much so appreciate it. Thanks!
SetCPU is an app (which requires root) that allows you to control the speed your CPU operates at.
I highly recommend not flashing any version of Froyo. There has been countless problems with unofficial versions of Froyo with the i9000M which render the phone useless.

Thanks for the Froyo advice! I'm aware that SetCPU lets you tweak the speeds that your CPU runs at, but I was under the impression that I needed to flash a different kernel to allow SetCPU to go over 1ghz—was this an incorrect assumption? Can I simply install SetCPU and overclock my phone?
Either way, I'd prefer to use an optimized OC/UV kernel, so could anyone answer my original question: can I use i9000 kernels on my i9000m?
Having a issue that graphics performance is a bit slow, compared to other gb out there with kh3, ki1/2.
For example menu roll out in greedy spiders.
I suspect it's in a kernel, cos I tried to move lig/egl files from old rom.
Any solutions?
Flash a custom Gb ROM from development section and you will feel a new world around u.
Don't you thunk I don't know that?
I just want to have performance on stock rom.
I have already 1.3 overclock, voodoo. Also I have audience chip working.
But I just want to have more games performance.
Lagfix mm. I might create one
Hi. I have a question. I have an Samsung Galaxy S with 2.3.6 XXJVU and I obtain 1300 score in Quadrant
1)Lag Fix for 2.3.6 are released,if yes , give me please
2)Its any possibility to obtain high score than my score on 2.3.6 ?
Thank You!
do you know what lag fix is?
any lag fix should work.
just find newest one you see should work. all it is is formatting your phone storage from rfs to ext4 or something else.
quadrent scores dont count much for some people. but if you want to improve try new kernal, scripts, or a whole new rom. look in the dev section. new roms get over 1300 + easy. ive seen 2000+ with a good rom and kernal and some overclocking
try to flash to custom kernel like semaphore...and flash the pikachu thunderbolt tweak as well. you can feel the different.

The benefits for me are the tablet mode, safe kernel, and ability to switch internal and external sd card. The rom is also much smaller. However you will not be able to run some tw based applications. You need to try it out.
Tablet Mode/UI is incredible. Safe kernel was important but since franco and speedmod came out with the workaround, they are safe. ROM size varies. Asylum is very small compared to CM9 itself and ParanoidAndroid. But they are all CM9 based.
You will NOT be able to run Samsung apps, like S Note, S Memo, S planner, anything to do with the S pen button, etc etc.
