The speaker phone volume is so low that I cannot hear people's speaking in open area. Does anyone know how to tweak it to make the speaker phone volume acceptable? Strange, for music and ringtone, the speaker volume is OK, For phone call with speaker enable, the sound is totally unacceptable.

However, the problem is different, the phone vol is sound good, but once I switch to speaker phone or using Video Call, the speaker phone volume is totally unacceptable. Does someone know the registry to make the speaker phone volume better.
Hi all ,
there is any chance to increase the volume of the speaker ?
he is very weak.. (and his volume is on maximum)
tweak or smting will help.
thanks !
No tweaks really available for this. There are like one or two tricks (one of which requires hacking your phone up) that apparently work.
Look around, there are tons of threads in regards to this topic.
Yes the speaker is crap on the diamond. Sooner or later you will get used to it and live with it
do not forget that you have three volume settings.
first system volume, second ringtone volume and third incall volume.
the last you can only set during a call. when in a call, turn on your screen and then press the volume up button. now you can change the volume during a call.
for me this fixed al the volume problems.
offcourse if you want to use your speaker for handsfree or as an mp3 player: don't. the speaker is not intended for this use and you will just irritate people around you. use a headphone instead.

I also thought that the volume during a call is way too low despite having the volume at maximum. Since I installed Phone Weaver which lets you control the incall volume via profiles it blows my ears away. Last time the speaker was too loud during the call but I couldn't turn it down with the volume keys?! It only changed the master (system?) volume but not the incall. What did I wrong?
I have found that the loud-speaker volume is very low during movie playback, what setting deals with this?
Use Advanced Config and enable all Audio Booster options. This maybe helps...
Also Diamond Tweak, maybe disable 100 db Sound Limitation...
However, these are I think for headset, I haven't tried if they affect the external speaker.
One thing that works for sure is setting equalizers to max in In Core player, but I don't know if the core player works on Diamond...
Don't you love it how I actually haven't helped you at all?
I am gonna test all these and edit this post ))))))

Increase the volume of the movie player if its not already 100%?
Personally my speaker is very loud. During calls, at around 50% volume its still so loud I have to keep it a little from my ear.

i think you have to be in the phone menu. when i press the volume during a call, it changes the call volume. maybe phone weaver assigns a different function to you volume button.

Coreplayer shows volume at 100% already, but the volume is so low I can barely hear a thing...
Anyone? It's weird because when I put calls on loudspeaker it's fine, but when playing a movie it's inaudible...

Hi~~
I like to listen to music with my X1 by earplugs, the music volume is just fine coz it's controlled by the software. But if there is a call or SMS coming,my ear will blow off...(in order to hear the ring when don't use earplugs, I set the sys and ring volume about 7/10)
It seems that the SMS notify ring level belongs to sys volume. So everytime I want to enjoy the music I have to lower all the 3 volum level(sys, ring and in-call),terrible
Is there any software can lower those volumes automatically when I pull in the eraplugs and change the vloumes to high level after pulling out the earplugs ???
I just got a Xperia ZR and I found out the in-call volume is bad.I can't hear what the people say at all when they call me
Any solution for this???
You may try to turn on and off your loudspeaker.
It works for my old device Xperia Ray.
I experience no issue for my XZR here.
yea, just turn on xLOUD and Clear Phase.. No issues here.

xLOUD and Clear Phase are for the loudspeaker. OP is talking about low earpiece volume.
@nttrung295 Had the same issue, kinda low earpiece volume and muffled voice. In my case, I found that turning off 'Speaker voice enhancement' and setting Equaliser to 'Bright' in Settings->Call settings made the earpiece sound much better. Initially I had 'Speaker voice enhancement' enabled and equaliser set to 'bright', but the volume was muffled and had low volume. I guess both those options conflicted with each other in some way. Just enabling speaker voice enhancement and setting equaliser to 'normal' (default) didn't help, but disabling it and setting equaliser to 'bright' did.
Have you try to keep press Vol+ during a call? when you use headset there is another Vol bar will show up instead of normal Vol bar that control phone speaker.

Clarification, discussion is about earpiece volume not headset volume. Headset volume is fine, no problem.

Hey guys,
I am having weird sound issues with my new P10.
When setting ringer volume to certain level, it seems to only work with the ringer when somebody calls.
It does not have an influence on WhatsApp, Gmail, text messages etc. These do sound a LOT louder.
So, I can control call ringer just fine, but basically cannot control the volume for app notifications. I also tried to lower the volume for alarm, media etc, but these apps seem to be connected with the ringer volume slider (which is of course what one would expect) but they are much louder that the call ringer.
This is my first Huawei phone so I was hoping to find some setting for this, but no luck. This is really annoying. If I do not want Gmail notifications etc to be loud, I need to lower the ringer volume to minimum, but then I have issues to hear when someone calls
Any idea what is going on?

I have exactly the same issues, also in video call in Whatsapp the call volume is very loud and i can't get it lower.
Still searching for an solution.......
If i find one i will let you know.
P10 Plus
The P10 Plus has a same issue.
Yep, it looks like notifications sounds are not only too loud but also still present when sound is "muted"
as a temporary workaround I reduced the volume of the notifications by editing the notification files on my pc. but I am really hoping that Huawei is going to fix this soon.
sound settings do not affect videocalling with facebook messenger on my P10.
