[Q] Save SMS to SIM automatically - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Anyone know a way to make my Diamond save every incoming SMS messages to the SIM automatically? Almost all the "not-so-smartphones" have the option to do it but i can't find this on the Diamond.
I know it's possible to copy the messages, but it's easy to forget and to be honest i'm changing / upgrading my ROM much more times than switching SIM cards. I also know i can make a backup to restore my messages after a ROM upgrade, but seriously, an option (or registry tweak... anything) to make incoming messages go to SIM would be better for me.
Any help appreciated!
(PS: sorry for my bad english!)

SMS from sim to Kaiser

Hi
I found here a lot thanks but after half an hour of searching I think its better to open a thread. I have my sms stored on my sim and want to get it now on my Kaiser. How can I do that?
Greetings
I have messages stored on my sim too and they automatically show up in my sms inbox (at the bottom of the list). I take it that is not the case for you?
Yes .
Btw: Is there a way to switch off the conversation mode for text messages?

Not sure how to copy messages to the sim card, but those cards don't hold many messages anyway. Why don't you back up your messages to the computer, much easier and bigger storage. I think Jeyo Mobile Companion lets you do that from memory.
I don't think there is a way to save ur sms back into ur sim but there is a way to backup ur sms's on a regular basis using PIMBackup if u search this forum u'll get the file as it is quite popular....

2 phone related issues

1. is there any option/tweak to have contacts saved in phone memory automatically saved in the sim card too ? so much rom flashing gave me a pain in the but after loosing several phone numbers (p.s. automatically save new number to contacts doesn't work too .. maybe cause i use the standard winmobile dialer ?)
2. does the diamond have the basic "redirect calls" option? i've looked for it in settings > phone > services but i can't find it
p.s. searched the forum but didn't find anything related
1. an alternative is a program call PPCPimbackup (free)which will back up all your contacts/sms/call logs/appoinments/tasks/. search google for it.
2. try in Call Forwarding

Sony X2 new and some issues

Hey guys just got my new Silver X2 need some help please:
1) I keep getting message - sms from network: Zone65%10% every couple of seconds.
What is this and how dio I turn it off?
2) How can I add an old phone ringtone? The ringtones suck and all I want is an old ringtone.
3)I cannot seem to setup a 3G connection, it only has options for GPRS or Cellular. I have activated in the menu, HSDPA and HSUPA.
4) When dialing a number, and I enter the actual number, nothing comes up like on the old win mobile, with a list of possible contacts.
Please can someone help me?
Thanks

2) Well just put your favourite ringtones in phone's memory,
not memory card.
Best in MyDocuments or any default directory called MyRingtones.
That should help.
Than choose it like you did on X1.
Is there any way to find the ring-standard one from Windows mobile 6?
Never mind I found it thanks'

Phone won't make call until the contact # is edited. Any solution?

Hello,
I am running WM6.5.3 on my Tytn II - I downloaded the most basic, uncustomized Rom I could find, and it runs very well under most aspects.
The only really big problem I am experiencing happens when I try to call any mobile number from my contacts list. In fact, the phone will return a "This operation failed" error until I manually edit (in any way, it doesn't really matters how) the number I want to call. After adding/removing spaces or dots or whatever, the call goes just fine.
But I have over 1.000 contacts!
Is there any way you know to automatically edit all the contacts (I don't know whether changing them on the PC Outlook has the same effect, but I would doubt it)... or better still, how to preemptively solve the problem on the PPC?
Thank you for your help!
