Hello,
Since yesterday I've been having a problem with the notification bar.. When swiped to open it scrolls open about a centimetre (amount varies) and sticks.at that point it's only possible to close it again.rebooting solves it temporarily, and skype seems to trigger the problem.any ideas?

Hey guys,
It seems that the screen backlight and the buttons backlight (return and menu buttons) run separately and dont have to be on at the same time.
Would it not be possible to make an app that utilizes the button backlight as notification? Just like the nokia 5800 which blinks/breathes as notification.

The timer that is part of the standard clock app stops it's countdown when it is pushed to the background on my captivate. Is this normal or is there a setting I can change to make it work in the background? Or is there a better timer on the market?

Mine doesn't either.

I use mine all the time, no problems. Are you killing the clock process, or using a task killer? My task killer would kill the clock and my alarms didn't work. Then I ditched the whole task killer thing when I flashed a froyo rom (cognition b6)

Just tested mine as I was reading and it works for me too.

Yeah,
I'm not sure what happened. I needed the timer for something I was cooking and it stopped in the background. But testing it again it seems to work now. Maybe I fat fingered the home button and hit stop too. Nevermind.
Every now and then I keep getting no response when trying to nagivate the screen as the HOME, BACK and BOOKMARK buttons are no longer on the screen leaving me to restart the kindle.
Anyone experience this and know how to fix?
Sorry, it's not the menu buttons its the option buttons that appear at the bottom.
The only bypass has been to install an app called fullscreen
I've heard that happening because Gmail was installed. Not sure though

No that's the notification bar gmail affects,
Did you freeze some stuff by chance? Try going into the kfhd 7 general thread that deals with the bottom bar they've made some modded ones, perhaps yours just got corrupted

When I download any file, update any app, or anything else that creates a notification prompt, I get a notification sound as well. I want to turn it OFF.
I cannot find how to do this!
Can anyone help? Has anyone noticed?
Settings-device-sounds-notifications... Select silent

That also mutes the MESSAGING notification. I am assuming it is all or nothing.

In galaxy s4 It happens when the battery is lower than 10%

Battery below 5% and it disappears. Part of power save mode.

Had it gone into power saving mode previously? On my old s4 when it went to power saving mode sometimes i had to restart to get everything back.

I fixed this using Night Mode from Play apps
This happened to me. I read on another forum that someone fixed this by installing "Night Mode" from Google Play apps and toggling the app to be ON, then toggling it to be OFF. I did this, and immediately my auto brightness slider and toggle box were back in the notifications panel.
Hope this helps anyone else searching for a fix for this problem.

I can confirm that "Night Mode" app fixed the very same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
Thanks
