As usual I was curious and searched the web for Android 4.2.2. I came across thishttp://www.phonearena.com/news/Nexus-4-caught-running-Android-4.2.2-again-this-time-on-video_id38699 page on Phone Arena which states that the new batches of N4s are shipped with Android 4.2.2. What do you think? Will we receive an update soon or is there something not right?
If this has been mentioned before or has already been discussed, please close it or whatever needs to be done.

You're a little late to the game.

Ah, strange, I did search and didn't find it. This can be closed.

I'm a bit confused. Verizon carries the HTC One, but I don't see it listed separately here in the forums, or on the CyanogenMod listing of supported devices anywhere. Is this because it's not got enough users/developers on that network or am I missing something?
I'm considering purchasing the phone but I am concerned that I won't be able to root/ROM the thing.
Can someone clarify this for me?
Thanks!

There is a separate forum. Where are you looking? Click the Home icon and then Newest Devices.
Edit: It appears HTC is now blocking unlocking via htcdev. That was fast.
Weird
I am not sure where I was looking before. I do see it though.
I see now that it was also just released on Thursday. I suppose I should wait a bit for the folks over at CM to get it ported over there, shouldn't I?
Thanks!

It's a bit academic since they don't have root yet. There is a CM port for those lucky folks who were able to unlock on launch day, but it's a WIP at the moment.
The previous two updates, yes, even the one from today (3/17/14) have rendered my Active Display useless. I've got the XT1053 DE, rooted and on 4.4. Anyone else having issues?

Please explain this statement carefully "The previous two updates, yes, even the one from today (3/17/14)" wasn't sure what you meant.
Also, if it worked on stock then it works. after you root and flash you're gonna have to ask these questions with the root maker or ROM maker if you're using a custom ROM.
and to answer the question I have never had problems with active display. Try going back to stock is my advice then re-root and carry on.
Not rooted, 4.4.2 no issues with active display. What do you have turned off?

I meant that the last two updates, even the one that was supposed to fix the broken Active Display, don't work on my phone. If I uninstall updates it works fine, so I don't have anything disabled to cause it to not work. If you check the Play Store reviews, others have had this problem and have been referred to their customer care, but customer care sucks and rarely knows what they're talking about, so I figured I'd try here first.
I've never had any problems with it, using 4.4.2. Is it possible the people with problems are using 4.4 and not 4.4.2 ?
That's what I'm afraid of. I don't want to flash stock recovery and update for such a minor update that some report cause more battery drain.
4.4.2 has been awesome for myself and my local friends, however we are all using XT1058 hardware and the Rogers 4.4.2 firmware build. With the various hardware variants and firmware builds there are bound to be various smaller potential bugs here and there that only select groups of people come across.
I'm not a developer or programmer, but I'd really like to use Google Wallet's Tap & Pay again. I know a lot of international users don't have this option... But I used to on my Sprint HTC One M7, but since using CM11, this has been broken. It turns out, the required drivers/files/lines of code are missing from AOSP for the brand of NFC chip HTC chose (NXP chip). This affects a lot of Samsung devices too.
With Android 4.4.3 released, others are indicating this still isn't resolved, but that there might be hope looking at some files from the HTC One Google Play Edition update. Anyone care to help us out and get this working again?
A thread that's been trying to get this working for more than 6 months can been found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2573842. They could use some help. I'd test some things out, but lack the skills to really contribute.
Thanks to anyone willing to assist.
Anyone received OTA for Marshmallow on T-mobile?
If you received, when did you received it?
Negative on my end still waiting prob gonna root soon
Stll waiting but got it on my N5 on 10/8 (AT&T) and on my N9 on 10/14.
Been waiting for this myself. Checked T-Mobile's software update site and is still shows Android 6 as "In Testing" for the N6.
its not in testing, marshmallow has been released for the nexus 6. just go grab the factory image, and apply it yourself, manually.
Yes, their specific build, IS in testing.
Currently available build is stock Google build. "Should" work well enough as a daily driver. But I'm sure T-Mobile will make some tweaks for WiFi calling and band 12

the time around, there is a unified build, instead of many builds for different networks. the build is already out, its not in testing..
Guess we'll have to askdes , to confirm that.

Google has tested it. But T-Mobile is still doing acceptance testing. Click the Nexus 6 link on this interactive page at T-mobile.s site. At this moment, it shows the status to be "T-Mobile Testing," which is described as this: "During this stage, the device will go through T-Mobile certification process testing to make sure you get the best quality software possible."
Flashed manually. WiFi calling works just fine.

Yes. No one will stop you. But "can" does not necessarily equal "should." There are reports in this forum that there might be issues specific to T-Mobile when this build is flashed. Maybe that's why they call it "testing."

edit..
i just read what you linked, and im in that thread as well. thats an issue that you will see reported every single release. and its usually a very few that report it.
I used factory images. No problems on T-Mobile so far

There have been questions about Mm6 on the Nexus6 and T-Mobile band12 support.
The Nexus6 was one of the two or three phones to support band12 on release. Since then, T-Mobile has built out and converted a lot of their towers to band12, and there have been rumors recently that they no longer want the N6 to be able to use band12.
I don't understand those rumors and press reports.
There are also disturbing reports from T-Mobile users who are on Mm6 that their Nexus6 no longer supports band12 without reverting to the last Lollipop radio.
So, I am holding off installing Mm6 OTA on my new Amazon-bought N6, even though it was offered when my Cricket/AIO prepaid SIM was in place as soon as I first booted.
Band12 is important, and will become more important, on T-Mobile.
