Im getting a little pink stripes on my notification bar. Every time i pull it down and back up, therewould be a little pink stripes next to the date. Anyone have any idea whats causing the problem? I just notice it like a day ago. Thanks in advance for your help guys
I just noticed it too, I'm using the latest CM nightly. Never seen it before, but I've been using a black status bar until today.

I agree. The only 2 things I want I can't find(or I can't find proof of it working properly).
I just want a black status bar(like desire), and battery percentage. That's it. :-(

Just read the instructions for CM6... you have to specify your own font colors for the status bar/notification stuff.

To the OP, part four, check the link in my sig for the xda thread on my status bar. It's pure black so it shows off your amoled better than the desire bar, and blends with the black glass around it.

I've been running CM7 for a while now, and have ran bafm remix in the past. What I miss the most is the bafm status bar. The transparency, larger clear button, etc.
Does anyone know of a similar theme for CM7? Maybe even a work in progress? I've poked around a few forums, bit haven't found what I'm looking for.

I should also not the the bar along the bottom with the back, home, and app switcher buttons turns the same color.
It has always been like this for me on stock.

Not a dark grey, but a lighter dull flat grey on top and bottom.
Does it change color when you enter settings from the stock launcher?

This is really stressing me out. Whether I messed something up or it was like that all along... it looks horrible.
Is there a way to change android settings menus (as well as the notification bar/bottom button bar) to black and get rid of this horrible white/grey theme that doesn't involve an unlocked bootloader? I'm hoping to find an easy fix for this once root is available.
Same thing on my phone, if you use nova launcher to change the bar color it works except in sonys custom settings, which probably means the color of the bars there is handled different hence why nova launcher can't change it. Would probably need something like a custom rom/root or maybe 4.4 to do this.

Honestly it's not a problem aside from the fact that it's unsightly. I was afraid messed something up.
So even without nova it would still turn grey?

Yep, this is controlled by the Dialer and Settings APKs - you won't be able to change it without modifying those APKs or a custom ROM/app which supports forcing status bar colors. I'm not too involved in that stuff, though, so that's about as much of a jumping off point as I can give you.
To be honest, I didn't even notice it until people started getting excited about. Different folks...

Maybe i was so excited about everything else that i didn't notice that. I wonder if it was intentional to signify importance or caution or if it was simply overlooked.

I think it's simply a case of the status bar/button panel (whatever it's called) blending the default black color with the white-ish background of the app. I assume it's just the application of translucency and alpha blending. Change the bgcolor of those apps, probably goes away. Maybe there are some other white-background apps to prove that theory.

Good catch. I replaced stock Messaging with 8sms to fix group threading. 8sms doesn't have the gray bars, even with the light theme, but stock Messaging definitely does.

I was using ClickUI for a long time but after a couple of weeks when I updated to latest android, I see some ClickUI icons wrong like they have red background. I don't think they would just ignore these icons but I uninstalled and reinstalled, it's still the same.
Anyone can tell me if it's only me, or not? And if not, how I can fix it. I really like this icon theme over rectangular ones.

Hello everyone, a few hours ago I got a notification through Hicare app that a new update od avaliable and would You know it .... 4.5GB on size :laugh:
I installed update and there is a bug. My icons are whole blue not white as it shoud be .

Fixed it. Was Google Drive , new version broke copy to clipboard , uninstalled gdrive update all good.

no that has been gone . The font size in settings has been updated to bigger font and I like the colourful icons in settings menu. All in all I fell in love again with the Mate 20 Pro. It seems a bit snappier and smoother too.

Yes I was expecting some colorful customizations to AOD, it remains the same though I have got the official EMUI10 154 version.. disappointing.
On the brighter side, the phone is snappier, better battery life though too early to say, and dark mode is good.
i was also expecting AOD to have different settings and themes as well . Just too bad
