before beginig my work , i want get tour opinition to create est rom for Wildfire.
After my work done , I upload Our rom and share it in this topic.
Please give me your opinion for best Wildfire ROM to create it.
And plz a choose a name for it. :-D

Hopefully country prefix (for example +60) bug in Wildpuzzle where it only displays numbers instead of saved contact names in sms and received calls can be fixed with your new rom.

Hmm , I Was Thinking to Play with Android ROM Cooking as well , And Found AOSP hard to Play with , I am sure its going to be PITA to Try and Customize it with every Detail.
My world Revolve Around the Word 'Extreme' , My ROM's name is XtremeFroyo , So I am quiet out of Ideas , How About ZoPeX ?
i think rom must
1. froyo based
2. with super fast speed (i.e pure vanilla android no pre-installed application, give chance to user install according to his/her choice only provide market).
3. htc sense interface as a additional zip file, so if anybody want to add.
4. all hardware support as best as possible
5. camera, wifi and bluetooth must work
6. must be rooted
7. usb & wifi tethering must work

- Ad-Hoc WIFI networks enabled, as it is in WildFire (there is a patch in that thread to do that).
- I would like to see a minimalistic design, for users to customize it as they like
- Changed system sounds would be nice (star wars r2d2 sounds would be a nice choice i think)
- Would be nice to see some other (optimized?) media players (music/video)
- Of course a tuned and speed optimized ROM is appreciated as always..
- I agree with the guy who said "WildBeast" would be the name of this ROM

that discusion ist senseles...
we don´t have a really good working base ROM and you talk about goodies to add and names for a ROM that dosen´t exists.
what we need first is a base ROM that really works. no contact bug, no location bug, no missing end call button things and camera force closes.
you´re talking about fixing bugs... than do... do not talk about what everyones favorite goodie to add. everyone of us want a fast and stable ROM with all base features.
if you can make it, present it.... THAN talk about the details and goodies to add.
sorry for my hard words, but we have 2 really good choises with openfire and wildpuzzle. that would be good basements to build a new custom rom... or even CM6 when it´s ready for take of.
to build a new ROM from scratch is hard work dude. and even copy/paste some features from the one to the other, put some market apps in dosen´t make a "new" ROM you are talking about.
i like dreaming to... to discover whats possible. and everything what´s working on the wildfire at least, is implementet in different ways in 2 different early ROM´s.
it would take some time to fix the last bug, but the guys who are working on that are real though... perhaps you can help them to fix the last bugs, instet building a new ROM from scratch and fight against the same bugs which have allready been fixed.
just my 2 cents
and now... go on dreaming and creating ideas

About MoDaCo Custom ROMs
MoDaCo Custom ROMs are based on official ROMs - either shipping or leaked. A MCR release is designed to feel as far as possible like a stock ROM, with optimisations, tweaks and complimentary additions that enhance the user experience. The aim of a MCR is to be ultra reliable for use on an everyday device.
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
Features (these are the features for the currently posted prebake, please check the changelog for any pending changes that are in the kitchen)
Based on the 1.37.405.1 release
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
Optimised with the MCR build process

Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM, however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.

This ROM is now available in the online kitchen! In addition to the kitchen, a prebaked download is available.

You should add on option for my kernel in the kitchen
If I remove Sense and the HTC Lock screen can I use the default lockscreen AND use the alarm? (previously, from what I know, removing the HTC lockscreen rendered you unable to hit the snooze/cancel alarm buttons because they would not appear.)
I haven't tried the Kernel from HCDR.Jacob but it would be great if you could add an option for it. I think a lot of user would use it.
And maybe the option to replace the standard launcher by ADW Launcher or Launcherpro which are the most famous ones.

If you remove the HTC lockscreen you end up with a bastardised standard lock screen that has the tabs and clock vertical instead of horizontal. Would be pro if there were some way around this. OpenFire and Cyanogen both have the stock lock screen without this bug.
Market seems not to show all the apps e.g. 2 results for ROM Manager instead of 10. The market fix on this board is only for froyo and buggars up the market if you try to install on MCR. Perhaps there is a way to make it work with 2.1
Other than this it was great to bake my own ROM to my own tastes and have it run nearly perfectly.

The only fix that I found was for HTC Hero, it would be cool if somebody would port it to Wildfire:http://geekfor.me/hero/fixes/vanilla-lockscreen/
Guys, download link seems to be broken (i cannot download it from modaco website too (i'm registered there)). Could someone put the file on a fileshare somewhere?
1 thing i dont like on this rom/froyo, on statusbar dont show 3g or 2g, its not modaco's fault, its googles or htc

MIUI's been my daily driver for quit some time now. Have issues going back to other roms. Really impressed with it's cleanliness and ease of use.
Plus, you get updates throughout the week and (generally) a new version every Friday-Sunday, depending on the changes at hand. Not a bad deal, really. Great dev and forum community to boot.
Looks really nice. I may just have to go back to MIUI.
Also, Aerials is an amazing song. I really wish they would get back together and release an album
Wow. Haven't used this ROM in awhile and I must say I love it. Super clean and fast. Definitely going to give it a try.

GPS works great for me. Instant lock as close as 6 meters

Great ROM... really nice.... one thing that is bugging me...... A2DP Bluetooth is skipping with my S9HD. Will try a different Kernel to see if that fixes but just wondering if anyone else experiencing the same issue.

on this rom V3 i am add apps like sat finder and sat tool etc this tool is very use full for all have sattelite on home and if have dreambox [ linux top box] you can view tv sream from your box into your device for other tool sat finder signal meter is very usefull example for sat finder he help you to find your sat with Gps from any place around the world
for dreqmbox signal mater is a 2 in one tool he tel you signale quality and is a remot control for your device all this tested by me originaly i am dev on sat with my own sat forum [ dreambox , osacm, ccam etc etc ]
now i work on rom for make it beter [ and i go to dev for other device after finiching this work

hihi yes tested now and work but 1 week old i tested it on my V 2 and go crash for this in my reply to your thread i prefered to make it for safe ur device ^^ now great if work for you i upload the V3 with default FONT for every one like you want use default ^^ Enjoy men and thank you for your feedback this is help full for me

U can use FontChanger to change the font u want.
I like roboto
so far, the smoothest ROM i've ever used. Great launcher, very fast and "silky smooth" (Zohan accent). CM7 fonts work properly so far for me
Phone is OC'd to 822 with OnDemand governor and no crash, no hang, no lag
I left the phone overnight charging, and today i saw that it went to Deep Sleep for only 46 minutes. is this because of the charging?
All CM7 based ROMs don't allow me to set my own Ringtone from my SD collection...in Stock ROM i could press longer on any track and "Set it as Ringtone" and "Set as contact Ringtone". But since CM 7.2 this feature is disabled :/
And also, Titanium Backup cannot restore application DATA. Is this because some data were generated using ICS CM9 and other using official CM7.2?
And finally, if i try to download some of the cool 360 widgets, the download stops after downloading 20%. "Connection was lost" No offence, but i think its the Chinese to blame for that!

yess but after i recompiled one with fix named v4 now on info in your device [ system info ] you see build number 3.1_u1 updat one hihi thanks man i use it also on my mini is great
I present to you Joy OS (iOS look)(Gingerbread) ROM for our HTC Tattoo.
Installation instructions
1.Download the ROM and GAPPS.Place onto your SD Card.
2.Boot into Recovery Mode(preferably ClockworkMod as i have tested on this only)
3.Do a Full Wipe (factory reset, mount & storage > format /system, advanced > Erase Dalvik cache)
4.Flash The ROM.
5.Flash Gapps (optional as I have included them in system)
6.Reboot and Welcome to your new ROM
Whats Working
Everything as far as I know. If you do find something not working please let me no and I will update this post
Problems
1. The Phone and Contacts app are not iOS style. I have to resize the iOS styled ones
2. Chinese text where clear notifications is supposed to be displayed.
3. For the iPhone Launcher, please see the next post and download the attached apk file!

1. For the iPhone Launcher please download the apk attached to this post
2. For the Status Bar to look like iOS one,do the following
settings < display < statusbar settings < enable centre clock < enable Left battery percentage < enable netOperator show
For the AM/PM with the clock do the following
settings < Others < Cm Settings < Interface < Status bar tweaks < AM/PM style
3. For overclock,do the following
settings < Others < Cm Settings < Performance < CPU setting

Yes it is very stable...i have been using it since yesterday....havent got a single FC too

anyways good you liked my ROM...and it cant help as its another rom altogether
Next update going to make the status bar transparent...and kemoba working on dialer and contacts!!
Very very fast rom .. very stabe but facebook gets force close sometimes, and if u can, u can make the the keyboard a bit smaller and remove the settings that have no functionality with the luncher like cm. Using it for 2 days and its absolute amazing.

Unfortunately No....only a handful right now...English,Spanish,Italian and chinese...will try to add more languages in next release!
Problem or Function not included

I install your rom. It is wonderfull but it has some problems .
1. When we connect the phone to pc it connected auto. In usb debuging mode. Not ask to connect via disk drive or mobile networking share option.
2. When phone restart it ask to chose action with launcher or other app not yet know. I think it should restart with launcher permanently without asking an action.
3. When we chose any action like as make call or change settings i mean working on phone with kepad then keypad LED not on.

about the first pt...i dont think those options come up in CM 7...so cant do anything about that!!
second pt..ill look into it...maybe forgot to add a restart app!

I wanted to Clear up my doubt ! If the TEAM VENOM had already put the banner that u cannot use their work !
this is the only reason why one rom modder has to start a blog ..instead of posting chineese roms here !
I am not against anything, Its just might cause a severe confusion here !! Even i had to look over the rom for the copy right issues !!

First of all, in China for the release of the original ROM address, The authors thank for Team Venom with Chinese !Although he did not contact them,But thank them for their hard work! Respect and understanding, also support their work! Barriers between us is the language and time difference!
Second, why reproduced this ROM, Author and I want to share it.We hope that the Incredible S can run better system !I hope more people to work hard to make it a more perfect !
you dont get it mate! YOU CANNOT POST A ROM ON HERE WITH VENOM STUFF WITHOUT PERMISSION! its people like you that stop us getting venom roms!
Why assume malice when ignorance would suffice? I hope that any ruling concerning past transgressions would take language and culture barriers into consideration.
I don't see why you guys get all upset over "tweaks", you'd think over all this talk team venom was the originator when what it actually is, is a modified version of niks tweaks which again is a modified version of a different port of tweaks which is just a compilation of system string modifiers put into a system app with a nice ui. We're all just grabbing crap from every where and calling it our own, if you really want to take it back CyanogenMod could shut all this **** down saying they were the first ones to modify the android ui implementing these in an easy to use settings menu. I may be drunk and talking out of my ass but this **** is getting old and silly.
Further reading proved the discussion is not about tweaks however my point stands about all previous and future conversation about the aforementioned "tweaks".

My bad..... The above was a feedback for the Z8 Rom.
ThisKD ROM from Zhang ku is pure stock, with no WWE options. Locale is restricted to zh China-English or China-Chinese only. No advanced power menus for shutdown, no toggles customisaton in notifications.
The system app architecture seems better, leaner and more 'modern' than what is on Z8 or even project x or sabsa. Hence, runs smoother, & cleaner. Consumes less memory. Go 4 it.

Based on what Im reading, interaser cleaned the chinese from it and added a little bit here and there. I see nearly no difference between the 2 ROMs. Plus shudnt this go in the dev section???
But anyways great work on the ROM, it is a bit smoother than other sense 4.X ROMs out there. :good:
