How to update from Cognition Beta1 to Beta5?
Can I flash directly using Clockword Mod just as do when I install beta1 (on a stock JP6)?
Thanks!

better yet, dont ask the same question that has been asked 100 times. read the FAQ
Better yet, post the question in the related thread after you read the answers link to the first page of that thread. This is not the Q & A thread neither, it's the Development section.

My ROM Manager just found that I can update to 5.0.0.1 so i did... install was successful
I am not sure if this is recent because I was on 3.0.0.8 before and its the version I read that my phone needed.
Anyone else try 5.0.0.1?
Was updating a mistake?

If you have any more questions like this, please post them in the Q/A section not the development section.

Is it possible to have galaxian kernel with bigmem? The semaphore and talon bigmem kernels are great, but their colours are not as good as the galaxian's.
You're better off posting this in the Galaxian kernel thread so the developer can see your question and maybe give you an answer
I can't post in the developers' section yet.
Can anyone please help me post this in the semaphore and galaxian kernels threads?
Anyone at all?

Suppose if you can't post in the dev section yet, you still require the 10 posts.
Just go to different threads, posts, etc. and then post comments that are helpful.
I went around answering questions for people in the Q&A forum page to get access to post on dev pages.

Not sure what exactly you mean. Do you want to apply a stock KK1 and then apply CF-Root? If that's the case, of course you can do it, but KK1 is now obsolete: you should upgrade to KKA instead. That is unanimously considered the most stable version yet. There is a KL3 around, but people are having problems with it.
Now the bad news: you will get flamed for posting a question in a dev-related forum. There is a Q&A section for questions, but to be honest, if I had to post a question about ROMs, here's where I would post it too. There's a sort of no man's land for general ROM-related questions (not relative to any specific ROM): you cannot post them to the Dev thread because you get flamed, and you cannot post them to the Q&A thread because you won't get any answer, since very few devs would read them. So yeah, I would risk the flaming and post them here... Just make sure you mark them as questions (as you properly did), so people can skip your post if they want to.

You need to root + install CWM into your device before flashing to another ROM of any choice that you like.

Do not post questions in Development.
I,m using the Mackay Rom (1.48) But I can not choose my own ringtone. Is there a way to use my own Ringtone.
On every other Rom I could use my own Ringtone.
There is a thread for Mackay Rom in Android Development Forum. You can search that thread maybe this was discussed already. If not, you can post your problem there. I'm sure the Developer will be more than happy to help you with your problem.
P.S.: I'm not using Mackay Rom so I cannot help you with this.

Yes ,I know that. But I,m not allowed to post in the Development Forum. So that is why I post it here.
Sorry, if your problem was not yet discussed in the Mackay Rom Development Forum, I think the quickest way is to complete your 10 posts by posting in the General Discussion Forum and in the Q&A Forum just like I did before.
