i'll look into making a black/gray/white version
edit:
made it, check the attachments.
I like the dock. How do I set the center icon to be the phone application without putting another icon on top of it? I'm not sure if the issue I'm having is clear. Basically, when I assign the center button to be a shortcut to the phone, it makes me choose an icon for it. The icon I choose lays on top of the phone icon that you have in your image file. How can I fix this?
i provided an blank icon that you can pick
I downloaded the BlueDock.zip file. In it, I see 3 Images:
BlueDock.png
BlueDock_nobutton.png
screenshot_2.png
I don't see any blank icon. Am I missing something?
Also, May I suggest that instead of using a blank icon, can the colorful phone Icon be provided seperately and used on top of the noicon image? That way when you scroll through docks, the phone Icon will scroll with the other icons. Also, this would give the option of not having the phone be the center Icon on every dock.
just noticed the first zip had the wrong file in it! added now!
Where u get that wallpaper?
Nice docks, I'm using the blue one now!

Hi, sorry to post but i don't really know how to search for what I'm after
I just want to change the windows keys at the top of the bottom of the screen to solid black instead of the shiny grey gradient.
Can I directly change a graphics file? and if so where is it?
Thanks for your help

Is this not possible, I had a go with the Theme maker program, but then when I output to WM6 it retains the shiny black bars that I would really like to have in solid black

I think maybe you should search for a skinning program? or a skin that does what your thinking of.
Can you post a screenshot or picture to show exactly what you mean?
Or do you mean, bars like these?
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
yeah, how did you do that, there is no vertical gradient, i like that but i would prefer it all black
what skinning program will do that? does the program have to run in the background all the time or is it a one time operation to set the skin?

Hi:
After I installed a solid black theme, which I use, now the top and bottom bars appear solid in all themes with black bars. You could give it a shot. Not sure if it will work, but it will be easy to test. Just install the theme I attach here, then try another theme with black bars, and see if it works . For some reason it worked on mine.
Another way is to use a theme editor (I use Themegence), and use black bars for WM5, that too makes them solid black.
Anyway, I hope this works for you
Cheers for your help guys
I used UI Tweaker in the end, it did exactly what I wanted, then I used some other things I found on here to hide the top and bottom bars,now it looks perfect!!
Hey guys,
i'm having a "problem" with launcherpro. Is there any possibility to change the size of the dock icons? I'm using the same icons as on the home screen but they are displayed smaller in the dock and i can't seem to change it. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

LauncherPro resizes icons on the dock.
You can create a dock with your icons and use a transparent png.
But then i won't be able to use stuff like the new message counter right?

Well of course you'd be able to use it.. Why wouldn't you? :S
You do the exact same thing you normally do.
- Create a dock in Photoshop, like the following:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- Apply it (Menu > Prefrences > Apperance settings > Dock background > Custom
- Add the shortcut you want (example) I want the app-drawer to show up when I press "APP launcher" on my dock
- So I long press "APP launcher" on my dock and choose appdrawer from Applications
- Choose custom icon and use a transparent PNG.
You don't lose any functionality. I don't see why you'd think that.
Thanks a bunch for the help!
What i ment was the positioning of the counter. It will be at the top right of the transparent.png and not on the top right of the custom docks logos. Thats what i meant. But i guess it should work fine
Thanks!

Oh and one more thing. Is it possible to change the icon of a folder? Or is it only possible in the pro+ version?
Ok, so few people asked me how I placed a Banner like Icon in-place of my dock. I wanted to answer directly but thought why not share it with everyone else. So here a tutorial on how to do it.
First, this is how it looks like
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And a demo Vid
If you think its cool, then read on.
It's fairly easy, but quite tricky. Here we go.
What you need:
Launcher Pro
Banner/Icon (Template links later)
Desktop Visualizer
1. Set your home-screen row to 7 (for a 6 row home-screen setup). (This seems to be the most efficient value for me)
2. Now add a desktop visualizer 4x1 widget
3. With desktop visualizer, select your desired banner/template as your image and set the action as none (as seen on the video below)
4. Place the new widget on the bottom most part of your home-screen.
5. Now back to LPP preferences, set your home-screen row back to 6.
6. Might take long to load but there you have it, a scrolling banner on your dock.
Notes:
I believe you can use any number of homescreen rows from 4 up to 9 but I havent tested it yet and I only have a template for a 6 row homescreen.
In the video, I used a 5 column x 6 row setup opposed to the 4 x 6 setup on the tutorial to lessen the changes from stock layout.
forgot to mention, for best results, use transparent dock ang dock-shortcut icons.
Banner templates:
4x1 (right click and "save as")
5x1 (right click and "save as")
The Grey part is what the dock covers, blank part should always stay transparent. Just paste your banner over the gray part and make sure that nothing overlaps then delete the grey part entirely.
Cant seem to make youtube link to work, just click here and here to watch the vids
Thanks for the tut. You gave me an Idea on a cool homescreen. Mind sharing the text icons used on the vid?
Here is your video:
HELLO GUYS. THERES SO MANY ICON PACKS ALL AROUND US. HAVE YOU GUYS EVER DREAMT ABOUT MAKING SUCH COOL ICONS YOURSELF? BUT YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE TO AND HOW TO START? NOW LEARN MAKING THEM IN EASY AND BEGINNER FRIENDLY WAY HERE.
THINGS THAT YOU MUST HAVE:
1. Photoshop (Any version you prefer. but i would suggest Photoshop cs3+)
2. Original Ideas.
3. Patience.
4. Bases (Explained Later)
LETS GET STARTED:
1. We will start by creating a new document in photoshop. For that, open up Photoshop and Select File->New and select document size as 144x144 just like shown in the image
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Now that the document is created, we need a background for the image. Follow the images below to get a good background
3.Now open up the layer panel from the right side of the screen. You will see something like this there:
4. Add a new layer by selection the new layer button as shown in the image below
5. Double click on the background layer, And you will see a popup like this:
6. Select OK.
7. Now lets get to the next step: Making The Background
8. Click on that eye icon beside layer zero as shown in the screenshot and hide the eye icon
9. Now select the following things as shown by arrow in the image below. Rounded Rectangle Tool from the TOOL BAR, Fill Pixel from the top bar and set its radius to 30 px
10. Now select a good colour and click and drag your left mouse button from ARROW 1 to ARROW 2 as shown in the image below.
11. Now lets have a look what bases means.. I am giving a starter package of 25 stock app bases that you can use for learning purpose. Download link below.
12. Simply drag and drop the bases just like i did with twitter logo. Collect as many bases like this as u can.. Just keep in mind, DONT KANG. ASK FOR PERMISSION BEFORE USING ANYONE'S ICONS.

Ok, it's a little crude and you loose the labels, but it is simple and no need for any programming or special skills.
So, my Tab 2 P3100 is now running CyanogenMod 12.1 with Nova Launcher and Theme is Black Accent.
In Nova you can't rearrange the icons in the App Drawer in so many ways.
This is a way to be a liitle more creative.
You need an Icon pack that gives you the option to not have an icon at all.
In my case it's Lines.
However, I want other icons, so I also have Monoic.
You also need a number of apps that you never will use.
How it looks in my Tab:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Ordinary Lock Screen
..................................................
Left Home Screen.......Middle(default).......Right Home Screen
As you can see my Home Screens are off center to the right, but that is easy since Nova let's you place the icons how ever you want.
So I chose an app grid with 1 extra unused column. I can have labels here, but I don't want to.
....................
Drawer coming up...........Up
To get the same look and keep the icons from the red lines I need an extra column here too.
But Nova will put icons there. And in alphabetical order...
I have renamed apps that I don't use or need and with Lines Icon Pack they got an empty space instead of an image.
In the last row I made one more app "invisible" to center the icons under the others.
Later I may add 2 usable apps to get a full bottom row.
Depending on widgets and number of apps and also the background image, it takes some trial'n'error to find
what app grid you need.
You might even need to install some small garbage app just to make it invisible :laugh:
Edit:
Another way to use the drawer with hidden icons is probably covered somewhere, but if you have your ordinary drawer, apps'n'all...
You can take a screenshot and use that as background (but now your home screen is affected).
Make all icons hidden and you get a transparent "activation sheet" that needs to be pulled upp to use the apps you see in the background.
