Ok,you mean the Screen protector or the Scratch guard....its available for 150 INR in my India...Well,you could convert the exchange rates and find for yourself...

I saw that there is a few post about it but it wasn't just the glass, It was all the lcd screen..
I'v didn't saw nothing about the glass only as the pic above.

as far as i know, you can't replace just the touch. they are glued togheter

As far as breaking the screen on an expensive phone being funny, i'm not sure... but I would suggest you buy a replacement that is GENUINE samsung, as ebay imitations will be made of inferior materials that will scratch easier, break easier (and you don't want that considering the one you had) and will impair touchscreen function, you probably also will need to change the unit as a whole including the AMOLED, this is because the screens are glued together and also calibrated together (or I would imagine so following trends of touchscreen technology) Might be costly!

You have to remember its a big screen with the digitizer and Wacom stuff built in. Sucks, but makes sense.
I think as time passes the price will stabilize at about 120-150 bucks.
Well, inspite of the toughness guarantee of the guerilla glass, the screen of my Galaxy S cracked when it fell down. Is there a way in which I can just replace the glass cover of the screen instead of changing the whole display which would cost a lot!!
Any links to where I can buy the glass and the procedure to install it would be really helpful..

It's unfortunately not possible, you can only buy a whole display&digitizer part :/ ... I heard some guy did it, he heated it and then he somehow detached these parts apart but I think it's not possible to do it at home :/ ... and I don't think it worth to buy that part individualy, I would rather buy some used SGS from ebay, use display and digitizer and then for example sell the other parts ...or buy some broken SGS with screen&digitizer in good condition for noticeably better price

The display and digitizer in our phone is one piece. Sad thing, but it is not possible to split them apart.

I'm thinking of a new phone.. but that won't be until Oct-Nov at least... maybe the next nexus phone.. will have to use my Sammy until then..

I read amazon reviews about that sp and people didn't like it much. Glas.t slim is much better option.

Edit: I got the crystal clear at the moment, but I'm switching to the Glas.T for the oleophobic layer, the Crystal clear doesn't have that and if it does then... it's a very low amount.

The proximity sensor issue was fixed with the cut out for it. So all good.

Simple, just ensure that you order the latest model that has cut out for the proximity sensor, has been out for over a month now, just ordered mine yesterday.
SPIGEN SGP GLAS.t SLIM - New version . APR-5 , 2013 (There is hole for proximity sensor)

Be careful not to get a locked bootloader one.

The Steinheil is at best an average screen protector. If you're going for Spigen, get the Glas.T slim. If you just want a plastic protector, get some other brand.

Glas T slim is a serious product from just the looks !!! I read here on another thread it fits in the stock charger (DK26) so its a ++ for me since I have one otw.

indeed but some of them, if they come from a carrier are unlockable so you can't unlock the bootloader.
edit: to check bootloader ststus
enter service menu *#*#7378423#*#*
service info > configuration > bootloader unlock allowed: YES
If it says no, and you haven't rooted it, it means you can't unlock bootloader so you won't be able to install custom kernels.
