So, I have android installed on my vogue everything works fine I have data and everything working just fine.
A problem recently popped up when trying to install an app from the market.. The app download process was going a be slow and appeared stuck so I canceled download and started it again then it said "download unsuccessful" this happens on all apps.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Incubus26Jc's Super FroYo 2.2 the problem disappeared then a appeared like an hour later.
I have tried every possible solution for this issue and nothing works.
I love FroYo 2.2 but this issue is annoying me into bits..
Ps I have replaced my battery today and the problem is still here.. I installed using NAND btw..
Thanks, Abyy<3
market problem
i did sum version checking and 2.1 had no problem with it just 2.2 i think its market place not the rom or your cell im keeping 2.2 because i think its just errors that need to be fixed with 2.2 with the apps some install fine that are 2.1 avalible new aps 2.2 aare the problem it seems let me know what you think i think 2.2 is the bomb just sum issues needa be fixed with market place because 2.2 is new
Try it again but this time remove the SD card. Works for me when I keep getting download unsuccessful.
i have this same issue on Incubus RLS13 w/ latest NBH, fresh install to nand on my Sprint Vogue...
no apps install and i get the error you indicate above. ' download unsuccessful '
curious what is going on.....
i flushed the JG8 (i9000) firm on to the captivate.
i dont have the market app and every time i try to download an app, like through bar-codes, i get "web page not available".
any one had this problem? what should i do?
thanks
Hi All,
I recently bought a i9000 galaxy s from Turkey, phone doesn't have the market app by default. I want to make the minimum changes to my phone so that I can access the android market. I looked through the previous posts but I am lost. Hopefully someone can point to the right direction.
Here is the version info:
pda i9000jvjh1
phone i9000jxjg2
csc i9000trcji1
Here is what I attempted so far:
- I can access recovery/download modes.
- Rooted the phone. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=739304)
- Running system/app/Vending.apk gives a parse error.
- Installed the market-enabler app
- Found a vending.apk on another website and copied it to the sd-card, I was able to install it but when I try to download an app it says: "The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again." Also when I look at the downloads tap of the market I see that things are stuck at "starting download..".
What should I do next? There is an update to Froyo available on Kies for my device, but I learnt that update doesn't have the market app either.
P.S.: I am on a Mac and have limited access to windows.
Thanks a lot.

Is this the correct section of the forum for this kind of question or should I repost somewhere else? Thanks.
Why dont you flash a whole new firmware, it comes included, you will also be stock and have no unnecessary modifications

I have been working on this issue for the past couple days but couldn't resolve it. It seems like flashing to a new firmware is the way to go. I wondering if flashing would void any warranties? Also how do I decide which firmware to use? I'd appreciate if someone could suggest a firmware. Thanks a lot.

Hey samsunghgt,
Have you found a solution for the market issue? Did you flash a new firmware? If so, whiich one did you flash ? And is it working well?
The new market at https://market.android.com/ looks great!
But, under setting its not recognizing my device. I guess its because I am on Draky's rom and not a stock rom on my phone. Any one else with this problem?
Any ideas?
It's recognised mine as Telenor Samsung GT-I9000 I'm on Darky's too.
Quite fun to pick apps there and see them auto-install on the device
*Sorry double post
Lucky!
It won't let me on
try to go to Market and get "A server error has occurred. Retry or cancel"
Was doing this to me last night so I upgraded to 2.2 finally, and it's the same
any suggestions?
I falshed my phone with CM6 nightly (I dont know what version) and my browser wont go to any page so I installed opera mini and skyfire. Oprea works great but skyfire wont. Also android market wont download any apps it always say download paused. Is there any way to make Oprea mini my default browser or fix this problem with my browser any help would be great
Market 'download paused'
Hi Experts,
Tried all the way, mentioned in the thread, but still facing problem with market.
It says 'Download Paused' whenever I download new apps / update existing.
Haven't tried with WiFi, but facing problem with Mobile/3G internet.
During Feb-2011, I upgraded Android software (even after upgrading to 2.1, during Nov-2010), from Sony. As received notification from Sony.
Could you guys help us here?
