[Live wallpaper] Updated Live Circles - Android Themes

Hi,
I have given another shot at Live wallpapers,
Random Circles draws random circles of random colors and random radius to give striking effect to screen.
wallpaper follows your touch inputs, circles follow you where you touch the screen.
Search for "Live Circles wallpaper" on Android market...or market link is market://search?q=pname:cubes3_live.live_cube
Extremely light and small footprint...
Do try....
Cheers,
GV

Question about wallpapers please help

i have got a lot of decent wallpapers for my htc saved on my phone
when i set them as wallpaper why is it only a certain bit of the wallpaper can be set as wallpaper, the green outline comes and you have to select which bit you want to set as wallpaper
any workaround this?
thanks
The green selection box does come up but if you stretch it can select the majority of the wallpaper and set it. Other than that make sure they are the right res?

[Layout] "Hubs" on gTab - Customize your home screens

I was going to simply add to the themes thread that is a sticky but the title of that thread doesn't really capture what I wanted to talk about.
So I am starting this new thread devoted to cool customized "Hub" home screens on our gTabs. "Hubs" as in a screen for Music, Video, Games or any other topic you want to dedicate a home screen for.
Thanks really goes to XDA user fliparsenal who has a really cool thread in the Transformer themes and apps forum that has some seriously cool home screen customizations for you to check out. It's definitely worth a look for any tablet owner but I've got to tell you my gTab running FB 10.1 is looking really sweet right now.
Here's the link to fliparsenal's original thread in the Asus Transformer forums...

For my screens I used the three apps/widgets below but there are many more apps/widgets you can use to really create some truly beautiful home screens.
ADW Launcher EX
Minimalistic Text
Multi Live Wallpaper
And below are screenshots of my minimalist home screens. If you have a sweet home screen you've customized you want to share please post your screen shots here.
Well..
I was never able to get the damn MT black bar to stretch all the way across the screen...really annoying. Oh well. Here's my screenies that were inspired by your post and the linked thread. Using ADWex 10x10 columns/rows
Screen 1 is for work and has my work related links there
Screen 2 is for my video entertainment
Screen 3 has a hidden widget for Pandora by pressing the radio side, and a hidden widget for the clock/alarm by pressing the right side (i'd like to get a solid bar across the top for other music related apps, but I can't get it to stretch all the way!)
Screen 4 is weather
Screen 5 is gaming and has hidden folders embedded on each eye of the space invader with different games inside. (if I could get the MT bar to stretch all the way to the edge, I would have a title on this page, but alas...)
custom font's are from http://www.fontsquirrel.com/
wallpaper is from here

hey there

EDIT: evidently the latest version of ADWex doesn't allow you to use the full real estate of your screen.
I see you've got your black bars all the way against the left side of the screen..that would work for me! How did you get them that far over?

They stretched all the way to the edge because it was created with the last version before the update. A lot of people have sent Anders an email about this and hopefully he will fix it on the next update.

[Boot Animation] Aperture Laboratories (Not-Quite-Done Edition)

Using nothing more than Accurate Aperture Labs logo, GIMP, and just about all of my free time today, I have created a fresh take on Aperture Laboratories. Turtle tested, Turtle approved. Speed is set to 25, and part0-to-part1 transition is perfect.
Now with Scientific GIF Samples!
part0
part1
By 'Not-Quite-Done' I mean my To Do list is as follows:
1.) Make the animation faster and/or shorter because my phone is a zippy bastard and often starts up before part1 sees the light of day
2.) Add a loading loop at the top-right, identical to the loading circle in the top right corner in Portal 2 loading screens, only instead of the Portal stick figure sticking halfway out it'll be our old pal An Droid.
[Maybe] 3.) Make a separate boot animation dedicated to the great Cave Johnson.
12-11-2011: With the aid of ShockTherapy, I have found The Missing Link. I will now enable human interaction with these particular bytes:
Missing Link

I like the addition of orange. I'm a boot animation junkie and this one just got cooler.
Sent from my BB GPA19x Linux S 4G using xda premium
I spent a lot of time flirting with the Blue/Orange idea. I might be doing a number of color schemes for this same animation, and I will be making two additional sets based around Cave Johnson and Wheatley.
Here's a set of general-purpose lockscreen wallpapers in the meantime:
Black background, orange logo
Black background, blue logo
Blue background, white logo
Blue background, black logo
Orange background, black logo
Orange background, white logo
White background, blue/orange logo
Black background, blue/orange logo
Looks great.
I could make some kind of soft glossy effect on the text.
Also i could make the colors little bit different. (brighter)
Orange looks somehow little bit rusty and blue is to dark imo
Maybe some kind of glow effect like this. xD
I hope to see more great work from you
Believe me, there are six thousand ideas coming up right now, and glowy text was one of them.
I'm also making another couple of animations of GLaDOS (from some awesome vector I found on DeviantArt) and Atlus/Peabody. I might even toss in Space Core somewhere!
Edit: Ultimately, I want the GLaDOS animation to be official-looking so that I can pitch it to Ezekeel as a default boot animation for his GLaDOS kernel.
This is really nice!
where's the download link?
Holy herpaderp! I totally forgot to provide a download link.
I'll add it here as well as the OP. Thanks for that.

Looks like I was able to trim out the fat after all. Here's a sample of my latest update (mind you, the animation doesn't run quite as fast as this GIF):
>>Link to the GIF that actually runs faster than the real product<<
Someone please append this to my prior post.
I love this!
Using it on my SGS2 with a sound from here which I converted to .wav
Taking notes from the default CyanogenMod7 bootanimation, the frame doesn't have to be full 480x800; It simply centers whatever's there vertically, and since this particular bootanimation's black, it should blend with no issue. One quick update and it should be running like normal (I know some of you testers probably noticed that the initial animation is skippy at first. This will fix that).
Edit: Minor update, but it's done. Same link as in the OP.

[Q] CM10 HD+ fullscreen static wallpaper

I can't seem to use a static wallpaper that fills the screen in portrait mode. If I try to add my own from a hi res picture it hangs for a few seconds then returns to the standard green leaf background regardless of which paper I had selected. The standard ones aren't big enough to fill the screen. Live wallpapers are fine though and fill the screen. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a work round?

Same here. I got CM10 installed and managed to get a nice full-screen background made from my gallery that was downloaded from Interface Lift. It is VERY annoying, as the standard backgrounds are smaller than the 1920x1080p screen, so I'm left with a black screen.
Any help would be appreciated!

dialer background when screen locked

I have a lovely picture of the wife and kids as my lockscreen wallpaper, but when I get a call the contacts photo comes up across the middle of the screen, with the options to answer in the bottom third. The top third however remains the wallpaper picture and this makes for rather a confusing image when you glance quickly at the screen.
Are there any options to get it to not show the wallpaper as a background when someone is calling? (apart from changing to a different lockscreen, or removing the wallpaper?)
cheers
