White Out is a full sense and cht 2.0 theme. Ive edited almost every img in sense.
The sms wdgt is black so you will need to use cht editor to change the messeging wdgt font color. The color code I use for this is 200,200,200 and 150,150,150
Icons are done and in post #3.
This theme has became more than just a theme! Ive desided to go all out and WHITE OUT EVERYTHING. If it can be skinned it will be. So I am changing the name to "PROJECT WHITE OUT"
All of the other app themes will be released shortly after the PROJECT WHITE OUT ROM.

you have to us cht editor and go to the winget settings and change the font color in the messeging widget to 255,255,255 for pure white.

Yes the slider is inclueded in the theme.
I have only tested it on Tmartins photon rom for the TP2. It should work on 6.5 as well. If anyone tries it on a 6.5 rom let me know if it works.

There isnt a tsk theme it is only a sense and cht 2.0 theme. I did add the lock screen wallpaper so it should set to it after install. The wallpaper for cht is in the my wallpapers folder.
I plain on adding some more stuff like icons and maybe a .tsk theme as well. That is if the theme does well and people want to see more.
Im working on some icons right now. should be finished in the next hour or two.

ive deside to use an icon set that has already been made. I just modified them to go with the theme. I should be done by this after noon. here is a screen shot of some of them.

I take it no one is having any issues with my theme. That is good.
I have found a few things that I wasnt happy with. One being the sms wdgt. Two being the email account selector and a few other small things. I have cleaned up these things and zipped em up. Extract the files in the .zip attached to windows and over ride all then soft reset. Screen shots of the sms wdgt and email acc selector are in the 2nd post. Also thread name changed. A lot more to come.
I need to know what you like and dont like about the theme. That way when Its time for an update I can take in all of your likes and dislikes to consideration. Thanks guys.

Download the UI-TWEAK and the two themes (included in the ZIP)
install the UI Tweak,
1. run it
2. from the selection menu choose SYSCOLOER Changer
3. Choose Tools->IMport -> Select the Black/Grey Theme.
4. Tools->Apply
5. Tools -> Reset
6. Voila a completly Black Themed Device SWEET! :0

Yes, the default theme is included in the zip as well.

I love the black theme! It looks awesome. However, some things are now unreadable. On my Tilt, my inbox is washed out, the message headers for text messages are gray on gray, editing outlook contacts is black on black, and highlighted tabs (as mentioned in a previous post) are white on white. Then there are other little problems like the dropdown arrow for select boxes being black on black. That's all I found before I switched back to my original colors.
It's probably a matter of tweaking the individual colors, but that's tough if you're not sure what does what because you have to soft reset to see what changed.
Does anyone have a black theme that is tweaked so that everything is legible? If you could export it and post it, I'd love to get my hands on that.
Nadavi, I'm tweaking your black theme to be HTC default gray, but I need a little help. What component controls the color of the selected tabs in the setting module? The text color is white and the tab is white. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, you can always download the most current version of UI Tweaker from my site. Glad to see the interest here...it's motivating me to work on the next minor update (WVGA and VGA support) soon. Also got some bugs to fix in TdyScheme Changer.
P.S: If anybody have some nice themes exported from any of the "sub-programs" in UI Tweaker and wish to share with the rest, you can send me an e-mail and I can probably post the files you exported from the applications on my site (of course with credits).
I installed it on Storage Card but for some reason the phone start in safe mode, tried to uninstall it but the phone still start in safe mode, what happened, help would be great.

This is BETA 2 of my first theme, Ghost Black. For the time being, it is RC30 JF1.41 only, but I am planning on doing RC8 and ADP1 once I redo this for RC31.
As stated above, this is a BETA, and with that, you are responsible for any/all problems you encounter trying this theme. I have tested it myself, and have had no issues, but that doesn't mean you won't.

*Due to the black icons, they look really bad on the open slider. I have experimented in V2 with the Music and Browser icons, giving them a white glow (which makes them easier to see against dark backgrounds). If all goes well, I will convert the rest of the icons to have the whiteglow

Just installed on my g1 gotta say it looks amazing as is just wondering if you can post that wallpaper you used because without it it dosent go well with a dark background
I found out that the current version you have of the theme, when I went to music the song icon is still green I guess you forgot to put it in there its just a heads up

I found 2 problems with the theme, in the music section the song icon is still green and when you pop out the keyboard in landscape the icon to pull the menu out has vanished. I will report more bugs when I find them in this post so check back.

I think that you could fix this by simply making the background black and the icons white,but I don't know if this would take away from the theme as a whole...
Just installed it on mine. looks really nice, especially for a work in progress. A few minor details to change:
- Make the GSM signal bars look like the WiFi signal bars.
- Make new Data Status icons (G,E,3G) that fit in with the skin.
- The icons in the launcher are too difficult to see with a black background. If the background was a few shades lighter it might be easier to see.
Agreed on the issues posted so far. The big thing I came across is when I installed it my browser uninstalled. I use the auto rotate browser build which could've been why. When I put the browser back on though it still uses the old icon

a bug report...when trying to set a background from pictures this theme doesnt work with it....the picture viewer begins to act buggy.

The analog clock comes in the middle'ish of the digi clock when installed via M2DC i have it off
sick.......most def going to try this out....i'll give you the feedback once installed on my device.....

Only thing thats stopping me from flasing this theme RIGHT THIS MINUTE is...the icons. if i could get this theme with the icons from the kehroh glass v2 theme (in the dev & hacking forum, m2d skins thread, post #120 has a screenshot of the icons i'm talking about) this would be the illest theme on the street! i dunno if theres a way to do those icons like that but damn it would be tight! I like it, with one suggestion: lower the image on the dialer so that it lines up with the background and s2u2 images.
I realize that this will cut off the bottom of it for the answer slider, but it will correspond better to the rest of the theme.

Thankyou for idea, but if i cut that down you wouln't see hardly any of the image & the consistency is from unlock to homescreen i.m.o.
If someone requests the image would be happy to edit.

The battery and signal icons in the ROM i use in sig, the slide to answer is part of Opal Canvas "in most custom ROMs"
If your using a custom you could try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3281609&postcount=5044 it's the PDA_Corner_Battery_Icon_Original.cab that'd you use if want non % if want % it's the other.

Great idea, looks good, a few color options would be nice (blue would be super). Thank you! I must say you do a fantastic job and love all your hard work!

okay, i have made a New Battery....it is not so bright and only changes from the matching color of the taskbar you download...
so if you download purple you will have a purple battery...
Once the battery is down to 25% it turn RED on ALL colors

The theme is created to be dark gray so it'll save your battery life and eyes.
It is very light: just performance,battery and good looking, nothing more...
The theme works on WVGA/WQVGA (800x480) and vga (640x480).
It works only with Windows Mobile 6.5.x.
The base theme is from Htc Hd Mini and I added some particulars in green like GTX style...
I THINK IT WILL BE VERY BEAUTIFUL ON YOUR SMARTPHONES, YOU MUST TRY IT!!!!

although i'm a fan of black/dark themes, i don't like your idea to create a dark wm theme - sorry. the point is, that the whole office 2010 apps (word, excel, powerpoint) have a dark background. my eyes don't like reading on a dark background

What rom do you have, what device do you have? I remember you that the theme works only on windows mobile 6.5.x (with start button at the bottom) and on wvga/wqvga device, if do you have w.m. 6.5. I'm sorry but it will not work, if do you have w.m. 6.5.x you can find my own theme in "impostazioni">"oggi" like "Hd Mini Black Theme".
Next time all you people are please before posting something to specify you device and rom

I just have a little problem and I think it's due to your theme: In HTC Messaging when I write a SMS, I sometimes have a "black highlight" on my text... Do you know this phenomenon?

I had this problem,too but it was not caused by my theme, but by a rom that I made, what device and rom do you have?Can somebody other confirm this bug?In my Acer S200 I haven't this bug with the theme enabled.However try to disinstall my theme,write in htc messaging and see if the bug returns, let me know...
Even if your theme is installed, when I use m.caroll.pureblack I don't have this "highlighting".
That's why I thought I come from HD MINI BLACK.tsk....

I have the issue with no Theme to select from Settings-Today-Appearance.

i also had the black highlighting in htc messaging. it had occured in ovis windroid theme as well. there was/is a fix for that particular problem in the dusk theme thread. i guess it somehow always happens when you have a black background.

New release of my Black theme (old version here: don't mix up the old cabs with new ones) optimized for Dusk taskbar:
- new Dusk style taskbar and softkeybar; new pivot bar image; new WinMo colors for better reading on black background; new threaded sms black background
- known bug: some cases (depending maybe on the sender) of received emails not being readible; the workaround is to reply to the email, then press "edit sender's email". Then it becomes readable.
- known bug: in some ROM/phones, there are problems of unreadeable SMS text on same colored background; you can try the HCT TouchPro version if you have white text on white background problem
