First and foremost let me say that there are some GREAT ROMs out here already. SkyRaider has always been my daily runner, but there were a few things I found myself tweaking regularly. In the spirit of "you can never have too many options" I have put together a custom ROM based on SR3.3.2 with his SP2 release baked in. Additional changes are listed in the changelog below.
I take no credit for this ROM. All the hard DEV work has been done by others. I just took what I liked and put together my own.

This is the older 2.2 base. This was a ROM I put together a few months back. I am currently putting some finishing touches on a new ROM based off of Skyradier's latest build. I have added/changed several things, including the TouchWiz launcher.
I hope to have a link up shortly along with screenshots.
Thanks for the update...

I have taken down the link because:
A) This is really an outdated build.
B) I am close to releasing the updated one. I have it flashed to my phone and have been using it for a couple days. There are just a few kinks I would like to work out before releasing...

Sorry, no.
I just removed it to avoid confusion.
I am putting the finishing touches on a new ROM based of several of my favorites. It should have a few neat features rolled into one. (I like it, anyway).
I would love to try this out when it's done!

I am so surprised nobody has not yet mentioned this rom yet. I've been following it closely through the night and it blows away all other roms when it comes to speed and responsiveness. Here is all necessary information, links install instructions-

Vanilla Android For Your Droid X
First Public Preview Beta
I wanted to port the ROM to DX so here it is. Drod2169 and myself ported the ROM and he did the testing since I do not have a DX. I would very much like one so I can continue this project so if you would like to donate to project you may do so by clicking HERE.
I want to thank Drod2169 very much for doing this with me. It was a pleasure working with you and good luck!
All 3 of us created this together and it will turn in to Drod's rubiX ROM and hope he stays with the Fission team
This is the first preview build so expect some bugs. Please post all bugs in the thread in a clear manner so we can get them resolved quickly.
Themers, do not create themes for this ROM yet since it will go many changes until final release. 99% of the packages are Vanilla Android builds so most of your themed APK files will work. I suggest to wait until we get to final release before you start. The basic stuff should remain the same and we will update a list of packages that will change so you can get your themes ready.
Users, DO NOT use ANY themes yet.
You MUST follow all install instructions.
BACKUP your phone using Bootstrap before installing any ROMs so you can go back to your current setup if anything fails.
Install Instructions!
Pre-Installation Tasks:
Before you install this ROM or any ROM you will need to have root and have Bootstrap on your phone. You can find out how to do all that HERE.

Im running this rom. Its very fast. Only bug I've found yet is the slider for when u answer ur phone is distorted. Besides that app runs very fast and stable.

I think I'll wait for the next release to fix the bugs they've found but it looks really promising and I can't wait to try it.
@gimp you just stated this morning that rubix will never be blurless because they base their work off the OTA.....
Notice in that thread that this rom WILL BE LABELED AS RUBIX.
it also states it is completely blurless.
Sh#$ changes every minute, shouldnt ever say something cannot be. Odds are there is always a way it can.

RubiX rom is done by Drod2169, Fission came out by AngDroid. AngDroid handed it over to Drod2169 to turn into RubiX, cause RubiX was trying be a AOSP.
Not sure if it makes sense. AngDroid need Droid X testers and Drod2169 took over testing for it. Basically working with the Fission team. Fission is basically for Droid 2. Fission for X will be new RubiX, I believe. somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

I mentioned that i was unsure how it could be aosp as it was still based on the ota. That post was of course made before i read that the rom would be rebased. This is still not a complete aosp build as the bits that cannot be changed due to the locked down bootloader such as the kernel will remain ota based. This is still a remarkable acheivment. Forgive grammatical errors, on droid getting my haircut.
On this rom, If I text over 160 chars, every other letter shows up as a ? mark. lmao, kinda funny. Looks like this...
H?e?y? B?u?d?d?y? W?h?a?t?s U?p?

I'm with ya on that. Seems like there are a few minor bugs and I'm happy with ApeX right meow so I'm sticking with that for the time being. As soon as the calendar gets fixed on this, I'll probably be loading it up and giving it a shot. I think an update is coming up so I'll see how it goes then.
Thanks gimpeh! I totally missed this one but will give it a try tonight.
From drod2169's updated post a little earlier today...
Known bugs so far:
Dialer looks weird with incoming calls
Facebook contact package not installed
Calendar (fixed, update tonight)
Lock screen tabs off center
Camera res
3D Gallery no hdmi out
Stock lockscreen tabs (fixed, update tonight)
I took the plunge and installed the rom finally. Pretty damn good and surprisingly blur-less. Not a hint of framework. Color me surprised.
was the update released?
Update hasn't been released yet....
But it fixes most all the issues and is stable and fast...been testing it all day and is great..
This being an frf91 rom will that open up more theme options?

Been running the unpatched beta since last night, installed all my apps and Blackmodz Returns to get rid of the white status bar (ugh), and it's pretty amazing stuff. Over 250MB available memory when first booted. Under applications/running services shows Other: 50MB in 3.... Avail: 251MB + 86MB in 22. Nice!
Loaded this yesterday wickedly fast snappy and responsive as hell love it

I stand corrected. My idea of vanilla is bare sense. I haven't found an AOSP I liked yet. I am currently running FeatherROM and love it but development stopped and I am still having MMS issues so I am shopping for another.

Here is the link again.
The post says footprints is removed but it was in the app drawer when I flashed it. Is it supposed to be there I don't use any of that stuff so its a great rom for me anyways thanks for the work.

Footprints should not be there. I'll remove and upload the file.
Yes as stated above this is bare Sense just without all those apps which I don't need.
Let me know if you find anything else that needs to be removed. I would caution though, its so easy to get carried away and before you know it, you have a rom that does not boot. This happened to me

ITViking I also was using feather and loved its simplicity but as you stated development stopped. I decided that I wanted all the stock features in my rom, no tinkering with any of those features but just to remove the apps listed in my original post. I stayed clear of it for 2 reasons 1) i just don't have enough skills yet and 2) if it aint broke.....
I have removed footprints and created a new file denoting version B. Original post contains link.
@ vinylb: Could you please add some screenshots to the OP? I understand it's basically stock, but we require other members to do it. If you need help inserting them, PM me with the links and I'll do it for you.
Thanks
Welcome to the amazing world of Bionix NextGen!
All of this is per npcodex90 from Team Whiskey
Introduction:
Bionix NextGen One
This is by far the fastest and most responsive TeamWhiskey build to date! It is a mixture of KB1 , the mysterious Bionix 1.3.2 build and KB5's bug fixes. Yes this is still an Android 2.2 build.
NextGen is being released with a few themes from the start, but its original look is based on HoneyCombish look and feel. I know Alexia , Mr.Apocalypse and myself will be working on more themes and goodness in the very soon future. Who knows what is around the corner for the TW releases.
This ROM will do a full wipe so please perform a backup beforehand. Please allow 15-20 minutes after flashing for the phone to finish building the dalvik cache, then do a reboot before you begin playing.
It might even be better if people flashed JFD with odin before coming over here. We had noticed alot of "bugs" were posted, and most of them were caused from other roms and ghosts in the machine. At the very least, backup everything onto your computer and do a factory wipe/reset.
NextGen One Contains:
On Boot -> KB1 Kernel w/ Voodoo by default -> Ka5 Modem for speed and battery
Some people prefer KB1 for its Data Speed to battery ratio. IF you find that you want to try a newer modem
check out XDA here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=868774
It includes SGS Kernel Flasher w/ the ability to Flash Overstock and TigersBlood. ( Please donate to the devs and buy SetCPU for all your OC'ing needs)
Tweaks:
SD card mod set @ 1024 cache
GPS Hack ( 14 sats w/ 14ft accuracy)
Modified I9000 Camera and Gallery. PowerButton is now the camerabutton and the Gallery has been trained not to eat batteries.(Will be tweaked better later)
Fugu Tweaks
Darky's Ram Tweak
Zip-aligned, Optimized and Slimmed down all of the APK's
"H" Icon
Toggle-able AM/PM and Removeable Clock via the Date and Time function in the Settings Menu courtesy of Jocelyn
Modified Widget Picker to more resemble GB and to make things clean and neat
Apps:
Spare Parts
SGS Kernel Flasher
Anycut
TitaniumBackup
Rommanger
LockWatchLight
BLN free
SpeedTest
Flash 10.2
IT also contains a modified version of the GB Launcher, TouchWiz Launcher and Pandora. All edits and mods were done by myself. In the future release we will have two version of NextGen(One TouchWiz and the other GB ) as in other releases. This ROM has been optimized for the best battery efficiency possible. With the KB1 stock/voodoo kernel, Shorty and myself where seeing 22+ hours with moderate usage. I know everyone's usage differs, but I think everyone will be pleased.
LINKS REMOVED
The star wars lock screen now works
But if you change or flash a new theme, you must , I repeat, must turn off the the Starwars lock screen. Until themes are made from my framework , it will bootloop.
As always please READ the entire OP, if you have any problems come find us on the webchat. We are always willing to give a helping hand. Enjoy and POST bugs!

I wonder if zyrinx got permission from tw/nopcodex to post this on xda?
Also, this is the 2nd thread that has been posted on the dev section about this, the first one got locked/removed.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Indeed. The first one was removed because the previous poster merely linked to the TW forum post for the download rather than the sourceforge page. Thank you for your attempt to stir things up. Now please, try to be productive.
Any themes that have the original green back instead of blue?
SWEET! Thanks for bringing this over
Starwars lock screen(LOL) = EPIC!
Did you get permission from a T.W. member or nopcodex90 to post this?? If you didn't you need to state that you have no affiliation with Team Whiskey
Also, everyone needs to know that there will be no OFFICIAL support of this ROM on XDA.
I'm leaning towards saying that most of the theming thus far has been primarily in the Honeycomb blue. I don't see anything specifically stating that it utilizes the GB green theming. I'll keep looking though and I'll post up a link if I run across anything.
Uh oh! Looks like someone might be in trouble Didn't see anything in the TW forum about bringing this over after all....
but this OP has 2 links that the orginal thread doesnt have:
- Sourceforge files for Bionix development:
- Fix for GingerBread Launcher Version lacking Calculator and Calendar:
..........thats odd. Very interesting indeed.

SuperCM7 Nexus v1.5 (NEW!)

Credits: Jesus Christ, Cyanogen/TeamDouche, Droid Tech (For supplying me with the Nexus S!!!) AndroidSpin and Six6sicks for the boot Animation.
Base Firmware: 2.3.7
Radio Required: Stock is fine

Special instructions: I've chosen to use the Stock CM7 kernel...it is perfect imho. If you want, there are a dozen other kernels for the Nexus S to try. This one is ready out of the box...no hassle required.
Thoughts-
-This is the first update for the Nexus S I've done in awhile. This really should be 2.0, but I'll reserve that for ICS.
-This is based strongly off of CM7 with some tweeks.
-The Super Series is built for myself...this is why I don't post long changelogs.
-I'm simply posting my personal daily driver.
-If this is an issue...SuperCM7 may not be for you.
That aside...

Here come's a new rom Would you mind to list out all the feature you done?
Thanks for providing us with a new ROM. Would love to see some screenshots, along with a list of mods and features included. Plus a basic installation guide for novice users.
Welcome to Nexus S. I know your work was much appriciated in the G2/Vision forums so looking forward to see more from you.
Flashed and booted. Its hard to tell any big difference from all other CM based roms right know, they all run great and so does this. Will try it for a while and see. But for all who wonders it has a lotof grey in it, it reminds little of the theme greybread but with green statusbar icons, and it has lots of themed icons. Personally im not to crazy about the theme but its fast and smooth.
Well, I have been appreciating Clay's works since I owned my very first android phone (Magic32A)!
Many thanks for sharing!
screens from clay's twitter for those interested
if you've never tried one of his roms here's basically what you're getting: based off of the latest cm, a nice looking theme, a very smooth rom
i actually still use my old g1 as my mp3 player and it's still got an supercm froyo on it. best that phone ever ran.
Looks like a keeper. Great job! And thanks

Downloading now for replacing my stock ROM... Love the G2 ROM. Super pleased with that ROM. Looking forward to this one.
[edit]
So, I've noticed some folks downgrading to XXKB3 - I have XXKD1. Do you suggest a different radio?
Never mind - I see your note that stock radio is fine... I will be running with stock.

Tommy.
This is one fast rom im getting 3210 in quadrant with built in kernel, and its not an OC kernel its cclocked at 1000Mhz. It also feels very stable.
Fast and fun! But I can't seem to locate the NFC option in Settings

yeah it seems to be removed. Its not included in the zip file. I dont know the reason for it being removed. But i live in sweden and we dont have any use for it ..yet.
If you can just organise your OP, that would be great and nice
What is the recommended radio for the I9020T? What's everyone using?

I could complete 3 out of 4 tasks i have set myself (check 2nd post) and here is the ROM in its near completion.
The ROM was renamed to ClickFroyoSense to rhyme with the origin ROM TatFroyoSense.

2.6.35 kernel from cn.fyodor's Froyo ROM
compcache needs to be fixed for this
Flash 2.6.35_kernel.zip from recovery
Please use attached nfinity kernel to revert
Sincere thanks to work of following members
Dexter_nlb, arco68, SebastianFM, KalimochoAz, cn.fyodor, tolgainci and many more
Note: This thread was formerly started with following name to provide patch for videocamera
[PATCH] videocam and camera on tatFroyosense
future use
Few things i would like to do, to improve the performance of possibly last sense ROM for Tattoo.
1. Using Arco's click-kernel-2.6.35
2. Trying to get FM work
3. Fixing Phone apk to recognize numbers without country codes
4. Fixing wifi signal in status bar
But i don't have much know-how to do these things, so i will try to read and learn, so that's going to take time with little time I have.
Hope some one out there, who could do these things better and quicker than me.
Well why do I want to do this, coz i do love sense.

let me know if you have any issues.
If you want the original ROM link
Thanks to francians, for digging out the link

It was adopted from Foydor's AOSP ROM and camera was working good in that ROM.
So i didn't see a problem
But build.prop is edited from TatFroyoSense ROM so, i wouldn't use this for other ROM.
But the WWE link is dead anyone to share?

I am not sure if it is going to work on TolgaMOD, it depends on the changes made by Tolgainci, I would ask him.
I haven't tested it and please let me know if you did.
So hows it going with the patching
I just tried your camera patch .. Seems to be working great.. Thanks and good work!
However the LED patch.. i cant see the zip file in recovery for some reason.. its just not shown there.. any others with same problem?

It's because of the uppercase .ZIP extension. Either rename to .zip or just rename to update.zip and put it in the root directory of sdcard.
Hello all,
First post updated with a froyo sense ROM tweaked and with few issues fixed
Thanks for this release .. but can u at least fix the Bluetooth audio issue ?

yeah but much much faster
Good work!
Installed, testing, and...
It's quicker than ProjectSense (I didn't try TatFroyoSense).
Battery life is excellent, compared to CM7.
Voice synth not working.
To configure Exchange mail, I'd to select manual configuration, cause auto config gives me FC.
Everytime I use Google Maps (last update), I have a reboot as it localize me.
Whatsapp is unable to sync the contacts (at the moment).
.. at least by the moment.
And now, it's my daily rom!!!

I am not a dev so things would take time to get fixed like the things i fixed now. so be patient and i hope and i wish to fix bluetooth audio and that would possible fix FM as well.

no disrespect to KrisInfinity but the fact that ProjectSense 0.1 is repacked version of Tatfroyosense with my videocam patch and with edify scripting so you can flash using Clockworkmod.
So i would like to call this continuation of Tatfroyosense only, to honour the efforts of Dexter_nlb.
Thank you both of you (george.baskharon and KingCreole) for the feedback
and KingCreole thanks for the review,
I am glad that someone could make use of the efforts i put in to this.

I've restored Maps to version 6.5.0, and it works ok, no more reboots.
App called "Kaloer clok" is unable to control screen bright. I like this app, but think it's a minor bug.
I prefer you resolve the FM issue. Thnx.
