[Q] Question about ROM - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello! First of all sorry for my English. I have question, which ROM best fits for me, so: i'm with Galaxy S 2 months and I didn't install any ROMs, I have "JG1", it's very old, I was waiting for official update, but it not availiable in my country yet, I'm tired of that situation(lag) and now I want to update my device: I need maximally similar ROM to latest official, but with most stable lag fix, it could be not most fastest but most stable. Thanks.

any replies?

This works well for me...

[Q] Best Firmware for Acer Liquid?

Hey guys,
I haven't upgraded my Acer Liquid in a while, the last ROM I loaded on was the BETA version of Froyo 2.2.
What is the best ROM/Firmware for my Acer Liquid now? Could you please direct me to a download?
I see a lot of different roms been thrown around but I need to know what is the best, opinions?
Thank You
I think you have to search at liquid.modaco.com. Some gingerbread rom and others.
Yeah, latest MIUI, LeoGinger, and CM7.0-Kang (my current choice atm) are all good roms me thinks. And also i've read that you should avoid the VFIT-based rom because of battery drain.
LeoGinger + 1
the most stable and problem-less 2.3 rom in my experience

[Q] Best custom firmware and help with rooting

Hi, sadly I'm a noob and I currently have a samsung galaxy n7000 UK based. I've attached a print screen on the information about my phone.
Previously, I was on the ICS firmware and since the uk version of the JB wasn't released, I updated my phone via Odin to the chinese version of the 4.1.2 JB. Then recently my phone said there was an update for my phone which was in fact the uk version of the JB.
Ever since, my phone is running quite slow and I have formatted it to see if it made a difference. The difference is slight.
Now I've decided I want to install a custom rom as I heard some of them would make my phone perform smoother, faster and also more battery-friendly.
Can someone give me a recommendation on which custom rom I should choose and give me a link that gives me instructions on how to root my specific firmware as I can't find any that mention XXLT3.
Please help?

We don't do best rom threads on xda, it's just a case of try them all til you're happy.
As for rooting, you may have to downgrade your rom to one that has a phillz kernel for it.

[Q] Simple question: which rom for daily use for my new GT-8910N

Hi all, i'm searching for a stable ROM for my new GT-8910N, possibly with NFC support.
I've read about Maclaw's ROM, but i don't know what to choose, i need your help.
I'm coming from Nexus HD2 by tytung CM 10.2, and now the stock ROM 4.1.2 is a back step.
I want to upgrade to a stable ROM for a daily use, also for my wife's phone.
My phone details:
GT-8910N
ANDROID 4.1.2
BASE BAND I8910NXXALL6
KERNEL 3.0.31-742346
BUILD JZO54K.I8910NXXALL6
Thanks in advance from Italy.
Hi bud, look if you want a ROM receiving the NFC support you better stick to stock rom or a custom one based in stock 'cause Maclaw's roms don't support NFC feature yet, well, that being said I've been since the beginning only with AOSP based roms so I don't really know which customs roms are out there that support the NFC feature but I think Dmod, Benz and Virginity roms support it you can check them out in the Android Development section, greetings man.

Hi,
KitKat it is not for S5830.
Each custom ROM, improvising some of the new versions of Android, but actually improved Gingerbread remains the same.
A custom ROM stable it's RAINBOW SGA v3.2.
You can find it at this address: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/s5830-develop/rom-sga-rainbow-rom-t3086842
I hope this help you.
Good luck.
You can try my rom (based on kitkat 4.4.4)
