Steps to Removing Carrier Logo from Dialer

If you are interested in removing the Carrier Logo from your dialer just copy the attached file to your \windows directory. If it asks to overwrite select yes. If you want to reimplement the carrier logo make sure you create a copy of the file before you overwrite it. Once the file has been overwritten you have to soft reset your phone so that the new file will be read. This worked on my Tilt. It may be different for the Kaiser.

There is no file to download or pics.

i think it is meant to be blank, he is bascially providing a template to create your own logo

If you don't want any logo to show up on your dialer, all you have to do is copy over the blank, .gif file that I attached. Or you can use that template to create your own logo.

can someone please go into system/media and grap the boot .qmg file and the boot .qmg loop file for me and post please?

There are no such files.
The only thing in system\media is bootanimation.zip and a directory "audio" with a bunch of other crap in it.

It's called "splash image", and contained on SPLASH1 partition. You can't rip it, whatever you do.
But you can google "nexus one splash image" and download one made for other phones by manually copying the screen.

Help with Splash/Bootscreen

I cant Seem To figure it out on my sprint hero.
I wanna change the plane green htc when i power on my phone.
an i changed the png images for the htc quality brillient, to a custom pic but when i load my phone that part is black till it gets to the sprint animation. what am i doing wrong? iv been using winrar from ziped files btw

I figured out the green hTc screen finally. took awhile.
still havent got the bootanimation down yet, just did a restore. Can i just open then images in paint an paste what i want over them an save it an copy the file to the zip folder? also where can i find some boot animations, idk what out there, iv seen the doid boot an i like it but is there anywhere i can get it in green insted of red?

put the bootanimation.zip on your sd then open terminal emulator and enter

thanks for ur help, mysplash screen is just like the hTc Incedible splash but black blackground an green letters an says hTc HerO an boot anim is green droid x now.
off my subject a little has any one figured out how to change icons an menu colors an what not an not have to use bettercuts or som other launcher

No Boot Animation?

Somehow my Boot Animation disappeared? I'm running sense virus rom. I deleted all my boot animation. zips to try to get everything off the device and then I downloaded the stock animation and put it in the media file and the system custom resource file and it goes to my splash screen, then goes black, and then the phone comes on. Any idea how to fix this so I don't have just a black boot animation? Is there a stock boot animation around? What are the steps to properly installing it?

Didu name it right? Some have to b VZW_bootanimation. Others just bootanimation

try this name it bootanimation i think thats what virus needs not VZW_bootanimation and pretty sure ur right about location(sys/customize/resource/)
still savin fora TB so dont have one to test

Downloaded it and renamed it bootanimation.zip then copied it from my SD card in root explorer and placed it into my system/customize/resource folder along with my system/media folder.
Restarted my phone. Got my splash screen, then screen went black. No animation.
Then I tried it using VZW_Bootanimation.zip
No luck. WTF!!!!!

Are u pasten 2 times?

have stock virus animation but too big to uplaod.......virus bootanimation is a bit dif from stock

Extract all the files from the zip on your CPU.....hilight all the files and right click, select archive, when the window appears select zip, and from the drop menu select store....mine was doing this also if I just zip it.....hope this isn't too confusing

[Q] Boot Animation

Ok as some of you know i have started work on a pre dev'd rom and things are going ok with it.. But my question is... Boot Animation?? A friend and I have tried all different methods trying to get this thing working but just no luck at all..
Here's the details...
Rom: SenseLX v2.02
Firmware: 2.1 Sense
Radio: 2.22.28.25
Hboot: 1.33.0013d
Boot Screen: Stock HTC (Quietly Brilliant) screen with little green loading bar at bottom..
also has a boot sound which i can get working so thats not an issue..
Ok so now i have tried the custom boot screen i want on a different Sense rom and it worked fine!! i made no changes to anything in the bootanimatin.zip than placed it in my SenseLX rom in system/media. Now after flashing the rom, the custom boot screen and audio i chose work for about 2 seconds than the whole screen turns green... untill rom has fully booted.
A. im doing something wrong and it can be something stupid...
B. that little green loading bar on stock boot is causing me some serious problems!!!
(i unzipped the stock bootanimation.zip and seen there was NO green bar image on the .png files for the boot screen)
so is there something in the files for this rom to possibly turn that little green loading bar off??
Or does anyone know what it might bee?????

naa sorry man lol we tried tho.. im thinking its that stupid green loading bar thats screwing with it.. thats why the screen turns green for the rest of the boot lol

hey ldrifta when you rezipped the bootanimation zip in back into the rom zip file, did u use the store compression method in winrar? Boot animations wont work if you store them compressed. when rezipping,all you have to do is right click on the bootanimation.zip, click add to archive, go to browse and look for the rom.zip file whereever you have it, and then look for where it says "compression method" and choose the "Store option", then reflash and see if it works.

i was just placing the bootanimation.zip in the rom before i zip and sign it.. worked fine that way on 3.5 base
