I have a HtC desire only a month old it is the amoled vesrion. NOW ROOTED if your interesed with miui rom but i can easily changed it to htc sense!!
I wondering if your a android fan you might want to swap.

Nobody will swap a Desire for a HD7 it's not a fair swap, you need to offer cash aswell.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is real due to HTC saying it just missed getting 8gb into the first series of Diamonds by days by the time they released it. BUT, why would we hear about it first from a global distribution site as opposed to from HTC or the mobile phone rumor mills??

The same situation was with original Touch.
The original Touch was aprox a year old when new colours were anounced. Only when device surfaced(Elfin) increased memory was also discovered 128 ram/256 rom as opposed to 64 ram/128 rom on original touch(Elf).
Maybe the same tning will happen with Diamond.

I asked if its a typo or a new version. The guy sad its apsolutley true, its a 16 gb version. A new version?! 280 USD?!
I have to check now for alibabas, that is if anybody had some experience buying from them.

Whoa. Ok the price is DEFINITELY a red flag! I was willing to believe until I saw that. I'm calling definite BS now.

I don't know but we'd first have to find someone willing to crack open their Diamond. I would definitely be willing to go through the upgrade process, but I'm not willing to be the guinea pig of trying to open my phone.

Someone wants to trade me their Nexus S for my HTC Incredible S... Do you guys think I should do it? The only reason I want to is because I can root the Samsung as my Incredible is running the Bell gingerbread update which means I can't. I really want to try the MIUI rom but I am a huge fan of Sense.

Um... Make your own decision? It's down to personal preference after all. Who knows when someone will find an exploit for that Bell ROM.
One thing I will mention that people often overlook: the Nexus S has no SD card slot. So if you ditch your IS and you have an SD card it'll be useless after the swap.

I am just looking for some feedback if maybe someone has owned a Nexus S and what their honest opinion is.
I had a nexus s and what stands out more is the camera is not as good, front and back nor can it record in hd plus like was said earlier, no SD card. It does have lots of roms though.

My close friend just a nexus s .... I must say that phone feels cheap right away.... I mean there's nothing but plastic.... Incredible s on the other hand gives an impression of substance ... That's my preference... A phone that can last.. plus the camera and dual led flash is a bonus.. something that roms cannot give... Just saying.

Just pony up a few bucks and find your "local" XTC Clip to get hardware S-OFF. I just paid $20 for it as I'm using a VZW unit with Gingerbread and I had no choice, other than waiting for a new exploit.
I agree the Nexus isn't in the same realm as the IS so unless you're getting some cash along with the phone I'd keep the IS, Clip it and flash away.

Inc S is almost a year and half old. New inc S on the market will set you back by Rd 20,000. For that price, you can get a similar, more recent phone with ICS and longer support. A second-hand purchase should not cost more than $200 (Rs 10000). For that price try a better featurephone or low-end android. BTW, my phone's not for sale.

You can get a sensation in your price range used
Over the incredible s, it has dual core and better, bigger higher res screen
Not much more, but its better
BUT there aren't as many awesome users like there are here

Ill soon be upgrading from EVO 3D to HTC One i want to get it in Silver but im not 100% sure that the Silver one comes with 32gb ive talked to people at sprint and cant seem to get a straight answer was thinking of doing online but i just want to make sure im getting the Silver with 32gb thanks any info would be much appreciated

They do sell the silver in 32gb
I was under the impression that it only came in 32gb with at&t having the 64gb exclusively.

Just order it, if it's 199 it's the 32 gb, if it's 299 it's the 64gb.

Long story short, I managed to get a swap for my HTC one x+ to a brand new black ONE 32gb with phones 4 u (warranty), but they said like for like swap (im thinking internal memory now) so I rang up and queried it. They are willing to swap again for the 64gb but that means being without my one for about a week MAX but Iv just gone about 2 weeks with the first swap, part of the long story.
Is it worth sending my phone off and losing out for a week for a free upgrade to 64gb, is there differences or just memory size??

Nope only memory size difference. IMO 32GB is more than enough. U can also use a Micro USB to Full USB(OTG) cable 2 store ur content if u get low on space
