How to dump the content of a SD card to an image file...

Dear all,
I dumped the OS, Extended ROM and Radio firmware to a SD card and
flashed succesfully other devices with it. Now I would like to be able to safe the contents of this SD card to an image file to be able to use my SD card again for other purposes...
I tried w/o any success the OSImageTool from the XDA-Tools, it does
not seem to recognize the image on the card. Nevertheless, it flashes fine to another device....
Is the structure of a QTEK9090 dump completely different so it's not recognized by the OSImageTool ? Is there another tool available for
this ? Or any other way to make a complete dump of the raw SD content ?
TIA,
Willem.
Use this tool to read/write to SD card
* I don't remember from where I download this tools
you can use ntrw ( posted above ) or psdwrite.
the structure is very different from the one used by the wallaby/xda1/osimagetool.
xda2(himalaya), xda3(blueangel), jam(magician), sp3(typhoon), and probably other new models too. all use a similar format,
you can use sdtool to extract the contents of an sdcard.

Flashing Wizard from SD Card

I haven't flashed my Wizard in years, and I (sort of) forgot how!!
I could have swore there was a way to flash it from the SD card, and I was sure it use to be on the wiki page! That's how I have always been flashing my Hermes - I haven't had an 'XP' system in many many years and don't want to install a bunch of drivers just to flash the phone!
If anyone knows if its possible (and the nbh file name) to flash from SD on the Wizard it would be appreciated.
Thanks.

[Q] problem in flashing new rom from the SD

Dear all,
I have downloaded and run the hard_spl on my Xperia X1 and flashed the rom ROM successfully, and I have downloaded the 28244 sencity energyrom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562935 and copied it on the root of my SD.
when I enter the bootloader screen to flash from the SD I get the message
" No image file! "
I have followed the instructions and made sure that the image is on the root of the SD and made sure the image name is KOVSIMG.nbh as instructed.
please advice.
thanks and regards,
Solved.

Would have been wise to read a bit more about the µSD flashing method - glad you finally found it yourself.

Help with 6.1 Stock rom SE Xperia X1

I've backed up the stock rom before i flashed the phone, but now i have another SD card and when i try to put the stock rom back on sd card and try to install it it says No Image File!.
I've tried a few cooked roms from XDA and they worked great, but now i can't install a new one...it says no image file.
Is it the new SD Card?I need to put in the old one?
maybe is kingstone.
This is an old problem which has been discussed several times on the forums But we are all here to help:
1. Check if you are using a Kingston card. If yes, the card is the problem, use an old card.
2. Format your card - preferably using the phone - and try again.
3. Use Advanced RUU - task 29, and then use the standard method for flashing using the Advanced RUU.
This should solve your problem. For links to advanced RUU, please search the forum.
