I too was changed to KOR when I did my very first Odin flash with my SGS. Here's how you can change it back to your original country/product/sales code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=787163
Hopefully, your current firmware supports the "automatic method" indicated in the thread.
Remember: After you do this procedure, your phone will reboot and do a factory reset. SO PLEASE BACK UP ALL DATA FIRST.

Hi, is there a way of changing product code without rooting. I have a KOR product code, but I want a generic UK code, which I think is XEE. If someone can guide me, please do. Any help is much appreciated.

you don't do it on the phone
you do it on Kies
then after you flash, it gets transplanted from the ROM via Kies into your phone
I have been trying for several weeks now to upgrade to 2.3.3 XWJVB, but when the flashing of the firmware completes and the phone restarts, i am asked to type a password. I am not quite sure what to enter and i hope somebody can help me to successfully install 2.3.3 XWJVB.
Thanks
Karan

If that doesn't work I heard that just entering wrong passwords will factory reset it and then it will work.

Check and make sure your csc is set correctly.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Can you please tell me how to do that?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
I would say sell it on 2.3.6 as this is most likely you got it. and ICS having an unsafe kernel,. let the buyer decide if he wants to upgrade.. and he can go ahead and do a factory reset as well on GB before doing anything
I solved the problem. My CSC was KOR, i adjust it with *#272*myIMEI* phone restarted and wiped all data automatically, and OTA was available.
tnX guys
Maybe you should add Fixed or Solved in your thread title

You can find them here, but I don't know what region your from so I can't pick one out for you. These are original samsung firmware without root or anything.
You can also have a look over here.

Only way is to get version of firmware that you had before and flash it from Odin. I do not know what was that, by that number. Try to look on google.
