Hello everyone, here's my problem. It's been many days that whatsapp is not working as it should. Sometimes (very often, actually), the app appears to be "frozen", as if it is offline. The problem is that when this happens, I don't receive any message or notification. If I manually open the app and I tap on a conversation, the "seen online at X pm" don't show up soon and I have to wait different seconds. The result is that I receive messages with different minutes of delay, and only because I manually opened the app!
For example, I was talking with a friend before, I sent him a few messages, then I got back to the home and put the phone on the table. 15 minutes later, I opened the app because my friend wasn't answering and I had to wait a few seconds until the message "seen online at..." appeared: when it did, I received a message from him sent 10 minutes before. This happens in 3G and 2G. I reinstalled the app, I did a full wipe of the phone but I don't know what else to do. I thought it was a connection problem, but it's been days :crying: If necessary, I'm using Prime HD 8 (and this happens with Prime HD 9 as well)

My sim has always been in in my phone, I checked every option and FAQ. The problem is random, not always... for example now it seems to work. I'm starting to think it's my operator's fault. But I can use the web normally, the problem is just whatsapp... dunno

Couldn't it be because of you have disabled in system settings, accounts and synchronization that applications can sync in background, or disabled automatic synchronization?
Try to check in ACCOUNTS AND SYNCHRONIZATION.

I don't know, it happened also after a full wipe, but it seems to work now, I've installed a previous version.
Hey guys, I need help, Im on GB with semaphore 2.7.4 kernel, and everything is working fine with some lags here and there.
Everything is working except facebook app and facebook messenger. In 90% when i start facebook app, phone starts to freeze, screen goes for a min, and then turns on with force close message for facebook. Then there is problem with facebook messanger, When people type me something, it write typing... , phone vibrates like when u receive msg on chat, but msg appear after 10 secs. Also when i send msg sometimes it delivers like 15 secs after i wrote it.
Btw, its not my WiFi connection, i got i5800 too, and its working pretty well on there. So I would really like if someone can help me solve this problem, since i use facebook messenger a lot. Thanks!
Hey man, I think that's just the apps. The exact same things happen on my I9000 on 2.3.6. Occasionally I don't get FCs on the Facebook app- but if you do, just press FC and try again, it should work fine enough. As for Messenger, its just slow in sending messages. Quite sadly :L
Yeah I know, but i really hate it to wait like a min so app can show force close message, and sometimes even after that its lagging. Oh and for messenger, my friend got SGS2, and it works great, sending instantly, no lags etc. It seems its something up to our phone...
Hi there.
I've gotten my Z1 for a little over a week now, and altho everything runs fine, from time to time I see the phone lagging when I'm typing a text message... Got no clue why, it just goes away if I wait a few secs or if I close the app and start it again. Anyone having this issue? Any fix?
Could this mean a faulty CPU unit?
Is there any way in copying the text.. which is being typed....
hello all.
I installed the nightly 12-20150210 last night and since this last update my phone has a random notification now. While I am texting or browsing the internet or viewing a document (random moments, no correlation between actions) I get a notification that says "Sorry, the phone has stopped working" then i click ok and thats it. nothing happens. the program doesn't close out or restart my phone. It is a random notification and when I select ok the notification just goes away for about an hour or 2 until it randomly pops up again.
Any thoughts on what this may be?
Ever since I updated my HTC One M7 to android 5.0.2, my text messaging function has been super slow especially when messages are coming in....there is a lag when I'm typing, like it freezes up and each letter I type takes a few seconds before they show up. Instead of being able to respond to a message in 3 seconds, it would take 30 seconds or even longer to be able to type my response and send it. I uninstalled Swiftkey and I am still experiencing the same problem. It only slows down when I'm exchanging messages with someone. But if no messages are coming in, it seems to work just fine. I looked everywhere and it seems like I am the only one having this problem.
