Leather Case

Ordered a leather case of ebay for £8.99 its basic but i do think its better than the cloth one you get with it

Ah very nice. I would interested in a write up of your opinion and images with the Streak in the case when you get it, if not too much trouble.
I need to purchase one pretty soon if the US release indeed is July 14th.

BAD EXPERIENCE with the seller.
I order this one on 22/6, havent received it. I sent a couple of email to the seller, and wanted to return the item if he had not sent it yet. He just closed my return case and reported to ebay that he dealt with me through email, the thing he never did.
I will wait a couple of day more before opening a dispute through paypal and report to ebay

The one listed above? The case isnt available until the 3rd July (as its says in the listing) so you wouldn't have got it. Since the 3rd was Saturday id have expected delivery about Wednesday this week.

I purchased the case on 22/6 which saved it was available on 23/6, he also marked it as despatched on that day. That's why I am so upset right now with the seller attitude

I ordered one of the super trader ones yesterday, its just been shipped, should be here in the morning.
Guess it will take up a bit less space than the oakley hard case I've been using to transport the streak this weekend..

especially the HD2 forum, some people weren't that impressed with them
I'm presuming Noreve will come out with a case at some point for the streak, their cases are really good, I've been really happy with my Hd2 one.

My HD2 easecase is really nice. It fits perfectly and is well made. Id say the leather isnt high end quality, and does look fake, but its been durable.
Ive seen some of those so call high end cases that cost £50+ and frankly they look like rubbish. Good leather, but not so well made or fitting.

I think you have given him more than enough time. REPORT before he skips town !!

I got my case from superetrader, via the ebay store, the link above this morning having ordered it over the weekend.
I suggest dropping them a line via their online shop, they have been pretty responsive in the past. I've never had an issue with them
Anyway the case isn't too bad, theres a recess for the streak and a cover held in place with two magnets. Not certain what effect those magnets will have on the screen or the compass. But we'll see..
Its not a tight fit, with the cover open, so it's pretty easy to get the streak out. It's a pity the internal compartment isn't see through so you can see the screen without moving it from the case. But overall it should do the job of protecting it while its in my bag.

Mine was here in about 3 days, you can tell there are not many cases on ebay because he has sold 140 of them.

- Do you think it would be easy to cut off the belt clip?
- Can you fit it in your pocket?
- Does the flap have magnets in it?
- Does the flap bother you?
For me personally, I think the flap would be very bothersome. I would prefer just a simple slide out.

couldnt agree more. i would LOVE a simple slide out holster type case. had a blackberry 800something few years back and they case that came with was a very simple slide case. id love to see something like that for streak. infact when my case arrives i might see if its possible to take the flap off

belt clip is held on buy a stud so should be able to take it off but i wanted one on
it fits in my pocket OK but would fit better with no belt clip
the flap has two magnets on it and no it does not bother me i dare say in a few months ebay will be full of accessories
The flap is big but i do think it makes the pouch more damage proof if you know what i mean

Roo multi-view case review

This is the Roo case with the kick stand, bought from a seller on amazon. I just wanted to warn anyone who is thinking about getting this case. My experience with both the seller and the case is horrible.
First, the seller does not reply unless you threaten them with a file claim and negative reviews. My first email went completely ignored. My case was past due and the tracking number was invalid, i'm guessing they forgot or ran out. Anyways then they replied to my second email with its lost somewhere but that they will upgrade to priority mail when they receive it.
Then i finally got the case. First i gotta say the viewing angles are great. Unfortunately the case is loose and the top is not covered when the case is open. At first i didn't think this was a problem until i accidentally picked it up by the wrong end this morning. The result: my nc fell, while i was in the kitchen, on the tile floor. There are now scratches on both top connor of my nc. The good news is that the nook is pretty sturdy, everything still works at least.
Anyways i just wanted to post my review here first. I will most likely review on amazon too.

I have this as well, and entirely the other experience. I dislike the non closed top, but havent had it fall out, ever. it is easy enough to fix too.

I am surprised at the review here. I had no problems contacting the seller about not gettng my case. Not only did our correspondence start with email, with an immdiate response with no threats, and when I followed up via phone I reached a human immdiately. It seems like Amazon was accepting orders beyond the sellers supply. Unfortunately the sellers system was set to assign shipping info automatically thus I got a shippng confirmation when my item wasn't shipped.
I love my RooCase! I LOVE the many multiple angles and I think it fits snuggly in the case. Despite the lack of cover at the top when opened my very clutzy self and my almost two year old son have yet to get it out the case despite our many accidents! I have easy access to all buttons on the sides; power and volume. I like how I can either readit propped on a table or while lying down on my back in bed.
I find the magnet quite strong. When I don’t want to use the multi angled stand it turns into a not so bulky case for simple hand holding or laying down on my lap or table.
I take my NC everywhere! This case holds up to the rough daily wear I give it.
I will admit sound is slightly muted with no cut out in the back. This was tested with B&N read to me book Go, Dog Go. I was dissappointed it required manual page turns versus automatic when it gets to the end of the page. Since I didn't buy the NC for its sound quality properties I am not really considering this an issue with the NC or the RooCase.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this case!

I was thinking about getting that case but since reading your review I think I might pass and continue my search.

Just to second this I also had a terrible experience with the seller and filed a complaint with Amazon. They claimed the package shipped on one date, charged my credit card and did not actually ship it for several weeks. They never replied to my email. If you look at the seller feedback the main complaints are about them failing to ship. The case itself is ok (nothing special and makes the nook color a lot bulkier) but the seller does not appear to be trust worthy.

Yes that was my main complaint with the seller. They send out an email that the item was shipped, with an invalid tracking number, and then lied that it was "lost somewhere" when you contact them to ask where your item was. They should have just truthfully told that the item was out of stock and ask you to wait.
I've read differing reviews on the fit of this case. Personal experience says the case is too loose but other reviews has stated that it was fine. If it helps any, I ordered the grey case.

I bought this case and had a simlar experience. I purchased the case on Jan 20 with an estimated delivery date of Jan 27-Feb 1. The item didn't "ship" until Jan. 28. I checked it using the tracking number on Feb 5th and it had made it all the way to the Anaheim, CA post office (the company is located in Chino, CA) travelling an impressive 25 miles in that time. It was on this day that I wrote my letter to the seller. I still have yet to receive a response from the company, but I finally did recently receive the case. The case itself is actually pretty cool. I find it solidly built, and convenient. I noticed, as was previously noted, that when open there is nothing to block the nook from sliding out if the case is held upside down, so I will probably get some sort of leather strip and velcro to keep it in. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
In summation case = good, seller = really bad.

I have a similar case with open top. Here's how I secured mine, required punching 3 holes, bit of stretchy cord + thin charm.

The charm is used like a button which fits through the hole punched in back cover.

I have the roocase as well and my experience is similar. I got shipping info immediately that was invalid and i had to contact the seller. They gave me the free upgraded shipping and i had my case a few days later.
I really like the case. Fits snugly and feels great. I highly recommend it if you can stand the wait for shipping.

Indeed- I took a gamble and ordered this case on Sunday, February 20th. With my Amazon Prime shipping benefits, it arrived today- Tuesday, February 22nd.

Wow. Wish I would have read this and or waited til Amazon took over the shipping duties. I ordered mine on the 14th and it is still preparing to ship. I sent an email to the seller today. I have Amazon Prime as well. Yay me.

Got same case, only thing i dislike about it is the fact that the speaker is blocked. Nothing a lil boxcutter knife wont fix but still, could have been better.

My experience has been good. Ordered the case, got it about 5 days later.
Overall, I like the case. Yeah, I think they should have closed the top so the device can't fall out, but it's not that big of a deal.
The case is super useful. Love that you can set it up at any angle on a table and read. Leather is nice too. Recommended.

I was looking into getting this case. Right now I have the smoke grey case from B&N.
Does this have slots to store items, like SD cards and such? And can they potential fall out when the stand is being used?

How do you have your NC on the landscape format and standing and tilted - I mean if you are watching videos, it would be in landscape, right?
Is there any other alternatives? So far, the folio types open side way (not flip) but user feedback that the straps at the top is covering the power and volume button.

The Aduro case looks pretty neat. I might hold off to get one. Is it going to be as cheap like for the GS3? Around $15?

Man that fly grips looks pretty cool anybody get one yet? Its kind of cool how the CEO makes his own youtube video and enter acts with the customers. I just ordered one yesterday and got my shipping confirmation today. I think it will be a great addition to the GN2.

I would love to hear from you! I need someone to convince me into getting this, its just that $30 doesnt seem to worth it...

I've been on the fence with this since i saw a video review of these a few weeks ago. I am horrible about ordering things online. I search the heck out of them and then never buy anything. I really like to see things in person.
I really like the idea though. Seems like it would really make the phone more comfortable for me. I have the flip cover and i usually have one finger between it and the back of my phone which gives me a pretty secure grip but after a few minutes my poor finger starts to feel smashed back there.
Maybe i should just break down and go for it. I could use the free case for testing the mod for using a tpu case with the flip cover.
So indecisive....

Ha I felt the same way I also have the flip cover as well and thought I would give ut a shot. I needed a TPU case I have a white note so bought the white clip I figured I will look really nice on the phone once I get it I will pist some pics up and let you guys know what I think. For 29 bucks for a clip I better like it lol

I got one. The guy is real easy to deal with. I had to swap mine from white to black since Tmobile had no white Note2s. He did it without issue. I carried my phone for a week w/o the clip and now about a week with the clip. I find its a nice bonus. I mostly use it when I'm relaxing and holding the phone at odd angles. Its great for that, very secure. In day to day use I don't really use it since my TPU case has really good grip already.

I had my phone for almost a week before I got my flygrip. In my opinion it makes the phone much easier to use one handed. I have maybe slightly above average hands and I can reach the whole screen easier with it. The stand feature is very nice too. I have mine on a body glove and feel extremely confident I have a very secure grip on my phone when using it. Weird angle gripping is much easier as well. I would recommend one for the GNII 100%

What time curious about is how easy it is to transfer between cases or devices. I saw a video of somebody removing the FlyGrip and it looked to be some super adhesive material.
How resuable is it exactly?
Edit: Took a closer look and looks like you could grab a pack of 3 replacement adhesives. Was really excited for it despite the price since you could say it's justified with the TPU case throw in....but unfortunately the shipping code "QBKING77" is limited only to the States. Really disappointed since I'll have to pass just based on the shipping costs.

I had one on my Sensation, and am awaiting new adhesive, but I LOVE my Flygrip. Thing is simply amazing. I didn't think that I would get 30 bucks worth out of thin cheap plastic, but I've been sorely tempted to pickup a second one for my tablet. Also, they have pretty good customer support, I've called three times, and it's always the same guy that answers. I actually prefer this to the kickstand cases because of the one handed grip support. I can't text on my bike without it, especially with this phone. I'll upload a couple pictures as soon as I get my sticky backs

I just took mine off of my Sensation, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It took some forcing to actually begin to remove it, as it is really pretty damn strong, but once I got it separated from the old case it was simple enough to just rub the remaining residue away. It does leave a very clean rectangle on whatever case you put it on after removal lol.

Flygrip comes with (1) extra adhesive. So after you remove it, you can put the new adhesive on.* "Some" people try using the existing adhesive.* It depends on how sticky it still is.* We recommend to use a new one, but sometimes the adhesive is sticky enough to reuse.* We sell (3) packs for $2.47.

Love my FlyGrip. I enjoy knowing I'm not going to drop the phone, but I really purchased it because I'm an ex-EVO user and knew I'd miss the kickstand. I use it as a kickstand whenever the phone isn't in my pocket. Right now I'm using the free case that was included, but I'll take it off in a few weeks. I usually don't go for bold colors, but got the blue kickstand and a royal blue case. Nice looking.
He has lots of videos on the site to help with making a decision. Oh, no, it doesn't add bulk, it's only 1/4" deep. USA made and the packaging is very good looking, would make a great gift.

I think it's a smarter decision to look at these.

Very slim, the cover wakes and sleeps properly when it's opened and closed, stitching is flawless... all in all, a really high quality case. Very happy with it, even after owning for a week or so.
Only one complaint: the case is missing a couple of features compared to the one pictured in the ad. There is no cutout for the charging port (I plan to add this myself -- easy fix), and there is also no hand strap. Not huge losses in my opinion.

I think that the missing charging hole would be a deal breaker for me. Especially since they advertised it as a feature. I hate companies that basically lie in their ads. Cutting into what looks like formed leather might not be such a good idea. But, hey, it it works for you, all the best. The Moko case I have has the charging hole, and it is very convenient. :highfive:

Seems like a good case, although no charging hole would probably be a miss for most people.

Bought this snap cover from ebay

Comes in multiple colors. Seller is awesome. Should protect against scratches from bumps and the problem areas of the watch. It wasn't as bulky as I thought. I got the black one. He sent me a white glow in the dark one because of a shipping delay of no fault of his. The white one wasnt my cup of tea but the black rocks. You do have to remove it to charge. It clips on pretty good. Im surprised i havent seen it mentioned here with all the sanding and such. The groves are not nearly as pronounced as the picture shows. Mine was smoother which i liked. Great with a screen protector for scratch protection. Hopefully the picture uploads otherwise his ebay name is archer28.

It's 3D printed, possibly designed by himself.
My only gripe is that you gotta remove it before charging. I can see me doing that each time I come home from work.
It's not on his eBay yet, but I'm eager to purchase it if the price is right

Yea i use the cover all the time with no damage to the watch yet with it on. i just snap it off to charge. it isnt perfect but a pretty darn good solution. i dont want to sand mine or damage it while it has a warranty. eventually if they do a holiday sale i may get the huawei watch.

I been buying these from him for a while now ordered 3 so far because I keep losing them there great tho and great price! His father just died tho so he shut down for a while an eBay message he sent me said. hopefully he comes back because he is the only guy with this on eBay right now with watch covers.

Just bought this idk how a owner of this watch could live without this .. Seller was even nice enough to send me a red one .. Must buy

He sent me a white glow in the dark one because of a shipping delay of no fault of his. The white one wasnt my cup of tea but the black rocks. You do have to remove it to charge. It clips on pretty good. Im surprised i havent seen it mentioned here with all the sanding and such. The groves are not nearly as pronounced as the picture shows. Mine was smoother which i liked. Great with a screen protector for scratch protection. Hopefully the picture uploads otherwise his ebay name is archer28.

I agree. I got the orange one and found a strap band and watch face to match.

Is possible buy a cover? Because in eBay its ended?
