before i do anything stupid on my device, would you mind advising on the below?
according to the control file NotificationIconsFroYo.xml, the icon set can be used on All ROMs except Desire. does it work on the stock rom of Desire HD? and, does it work with only root privilege (which MetaMorph needs) while still S-ON?

How do install it on my dhd with leedroid rom?
You have to use root explorer to find bootanimation.zip. That is the standard one. Then you just move the new bootanimation.zip into that directory and get rid of the old one. I prefer to rename the old one and not delete it. The file called android_audio.mp3 is the boot up sound. You can change it if you want or just rename/delete it if you dont want it.

I think the pattern unlock is somewhere in framework-res.apk so I would assume the pin screen is somewhere too.

The buttons that control the PIN pad are btn_keyboard_key_fulltrans_normal.9 and btn_key_fulltrans_normal_pressed.9. Here is an example when you change them:
EDIT- They're in the framework-res.apk.

This is basically the only thing that is annoying me aesthetically on my current CM7 setup on the HTC Desire. Would love to have it look more like ICS or the PIN-lock screen for the SIM Card. Could you guide me to a step-by-step-guide how this is done or have you done any mods on your own that can be installed through e.g. clockworkmod?
This is Mod for the LG Optimus Elite. It comes with Green Signal bars, 3G and Wifi. I made this for user's that do not know how to use APK Manager. Everything is already done for you, all you have to do is download System.ui and push.

How to install?
-Download System.ui
-Place in SD card and use ADB or a File Manager to push the apk
-Push system.ui to System/app and overwrite the current one
-Your phone will reboot (It may take a couple seconds)
-All done

Also and I know it's off topic but I've been searching my ass off but can't for the life of me find a custom recovery for the elite. I'm rooted but as we know can't do as much without it.
If anybody can throw me a link through pm it'd be great.

I just want to "create an flash-able zip" (for my android device, Samsung Galaxy Pocket - s5300) that can customize or modified anything I want! I want to modified first the icons, then the widgets, keyboards, and even the application itself(e.g. in Mms.apk, i want to change its bubble and in Facebook app, I want to make it transparent).

Actually and honestly, I got some sort of flash-able zip for SGY-5360 namely Glow Legacy by Deck.zip, i've modified it to be compatible with the custom rom installed in my device and it works for the system app but not for user apps which I had installed from sdcard and playstore, while flashing and it says its completed, but it never return to recovery mode(because usually when we do flashing, after it is completed, it returns to it) and I want to change the details displayed while flashing.
