Hey guys,
Is there any way to install HTC Desire HD maps app to Nexus One just by simple .apk or something like that? Because I don't like Sense very much and therefore I don't want to flash a Desire HD rom.
Thanks
Or alternatively is there a way to somehow download the map of your country/area so that it doesn't have to load for those sections?

Hey everyone apparantly HTC and tomtom have teamed up to put tomtom GPS on the new desire HD is there a possibility that it could be ported over to the galaxy s. It would be nice to be able to use the sat nav without having to go online for the maps like Google.

Try Navigon, it's as good as TomTom if not better...it's for android out of the box.
hi,
I have installed cyanogen to my new desire hd. I miss the connected media and the possibility to send photos and video from the phone to xbmc. Is there any alternative to this functionality of htc sense ?
Thanks.
Plugplay is one I know however it is a paid app

I haven't seen anything to answer what I'm about to ask, how can I install hulu on T-Mobile ds7? I don't really know how to do the whole build.prop stuff either I am rooted and unlocked if that makes sense or helps. Is there a apk that has the flash built-in?

The problem is not Flash, the problem is Hulu blocking it.
Try this

Doesn't work in honeycomb 3.2.

Apparently it's compatible with the HP Touchpad, anyone tried it yet?
From the App's requirements:
Sky Go is supported on the following Android smartphones running on 2.2 & 2.3 operating systems: HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, HTC Incredible, HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Galaxy S II.
Please note that if existing Sky Go users with V2.2 or 2.3 choose to upgrade to V4.0 they will not be able to stream content through the Sky Go app until the operating system can be fully supported.
For rights reasons Sky Go is not supported on any Android device that has been rooted
There's 3 problems right away:
- It's not a supported device (does it check build.prop?)
- CM9 isn't supported (ICS devices can't get streaming)
- Most TouchPads are rooted.
It might be possible to get this to work on a CM7 TouchPad which isn't rooted and has an edited build.prop
On the Market (online), it states that it is compatible. I've sent it to my TP, but can't test as at work.
I was simply asking if anyone has tried it yet.
I am running CM7.

Just tested what happens. Firstly, when going to Android Market through a web browser, cm_tenderloin (my Touchspad with CM9) is listed as a compatible device (along with my Desire HD). I can go to the Market app on the Touchpad, download and install the app. The app will run but as soon as I log in with my valid Sky credentials, it states it is not a compatible device.
Have to wait for both Streaming in CM9 and the ICS version of Sky Go.
Okay CM9 doesn't work, as expected.
CM7 anyone?

You could try it on CM7 with Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper since it blocks rooted devices.
Hi there, can anyone post the HTC Watch APK for desire HD?
Thank you and best regards.
If I remember rightly, it recognises if you're rooted and doesn't allow you to play, but does allow you to pay and download!
That may have changed recently however...
