[request] hd2 seidio case - amazing cases - HD2 Accessories

Seidio cases are very unique and of good quality, ranging in all different colors and styles. But the only problem is, THEY DONT MAKE THEM FOR THE HD2!!! They do in fact make them for other HTC devices, so its not like they are manufacturers for icrap cases only.
I called "SEIDIO" at 1-832-204-1118 and asked if they could make cases for our devices. They did in fact say that they have been getting request for them and she would take my request to their development or design team.
So please if you like what the cases look like : http://www.seidioonline.com/ please give them a quick 2 minute call and request cases for our HD2!!!
Thank You.

While the HD2 is a massively popular smartphone in our enthusiast community (quite a few people, actually), it's just not been a commercial success for T-Mobile even though it's still being sold in their stores; I saw one a few days ago here in my town.
Because of it not being a wildly popular success, companies like Seidio and others wouldn't end up making cases specifically for them, unfortunately. Best you can do is find one that's for something like the EVO and hope it fits.

Click here for Video, see how strong and reliable it is...
I think quite a lot of people don't know how paste this suit to our hd2,so I found this installation instruction from one evo thread...Firstly,Thanks a lot to Fixter
Before you start, here are the things or materials you may need :
**Clean hands (wash that damn cheeto grease off your hands, tard!)
**Clean HD2 (easy way to clean it is one tiny windex/all purpose cleaner shot to the middle of the screen. Don't even spray, just make it dribble 4-5 drops. try it on your counter before you try it on your PRECIOUS, precious.)
**A plate, saucer, or the top to a plastic container.
**No alcohol or perception altering substance in you (this is not rocket science, but you have to stay sharp to successfully complete this mission!)
**A small amount of dish soap, hand soap or detergent.
**Time. You will not get great results if you do everything at once. You can probably get away with doing this in three parts, but I'd recommend four. You'll see why later. You should also do this when you feel you won't need to make or take a call or use your phone. This will take a couple of hours.
**Optional - a cutting board and florescent lighting (it's harder to see the shapes in "yellow" light)
Remember always clean your hand and HD2
**UPDATE**
-Just got mine today, I realized that there is no need to use water.
-What I have used are, ruler( to flat& make the air out)...furthermore,I highly recommend that someone can help you to hold something and paste....
-Devices other than T-mobile US,the stealth guard might be a bit large for ,so you may need to cut some parts(make sure cut after you paste)
Overall, this guard is worth its price and quite strong...Just the process of pasting, might be a bit hard...However don't expect a nice packaging or design. They will just send to you by normal mail.
Hope that this can help you all a lot and enjoy...
Cheers...

I think maybe is the difference on materials and technologies...because stealth guard got their own technology such (self healing)...i not sure how its works...and the material used on stealth guard is the material to cover helicopter blade...thats all I know...maybe more durable...haha,of course it is cheap now...
I ordered 2 about 16 days ago, and received shipping conformation about 4 days ago.
According to their website it could take a month to arrive

I hope you are right, I hope 1.5 mm is nothing.
If it do not fit then a modification is a must. The back cover will be okay because we could cut it, but the front cover will be a trouble.

No Case-Mate cases in their view either!

Wow, what a day! First I got an email from Seidio, and in the same day, Case Mate (which happens to be one of my favorite case companies) says, and I quote "we do not have any specific information on when, or if cases for the Note 2 might become available." OUCH!. Here's their email:

Skinomi making new Note 2 screen protector

Hey guys.... So I am not sure if this means they are designing a new protector for the note 2 but it sure sounds like it! I recently recieved the full body protector and it is too soft for the s pen. The pen leaves imprints behind. I contacted customer service and this is what they said...
"Hello Jake,
My name is Vanessa with Skinomi Customer Support. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.We have been informed of an error for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and we will be sending you a correct new order completely free of charge once our design team has correct this error. If you have anymore questions or concerns please feel free to contact our Customer Care Dept. Again we are very sorry for this error and I hope you enjoy your screen protector when it arrives and have a great day!
Thank You"
Good of them to do that!

Funny thing....I ordered one too....but instead of sending me the note 2 version...I got one that looked like a S3 mini.....I emailed them...
They replied me almost the same thing.
This is the first reply:

This is the second reply:
"The design will be corrected as the original design we have is for the International Version and as the US Versions are releasing the design has changed. We are ensuring the perfect design for you. Your order will be reshipped in the next 24-48 hours and will reach you shortly after. We appreciate your patience and understanding and If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our Customer Support Dept. and a representative will be happy to help you with anything you need. But the funny thing was....I never said I had a US version. I have an INTERNATIONAL!!

Ahh, good news, just ordered one of these and was wondering about the screen protector, was just going to not put it on at all but nice to see they are remaking them.
That was nice of them to do that. Wonder how long it will take to get the updated version?

Midnight Black OnePlus 5 with 8GB RAM is now ready for immediate dispatch

The Midnight Black OnePlus 5 will be shipped out immediately after you've ordered it.
OnePlus announced at the start of the year that one of its resolutions for 2017 was to tackle shipping delays by making its products available for immediate dispatch, which sees the company shipping a phone mere hours after you've placed the order.
Just got one today
I don't mean to be rude, but this isnt really a forum contribution since every oneplus owner got this email.

This is good information for non Oneplus owners though. First time OnePlus prospective purchasers may not have signed up for an account yet.
Sounds like they are having a hard time moving units after jello effect so they are sending emails to people trying to get them to buy. If anyone wants to buy one they can see on the site themselves that they are available if they had interest to buy one.

Well if you come to xda and have interest in buying one I'm sure you would put in an order already or be checking the website to see when it becomes available immediately. If you wanted one it makes 0 sense to wait for one to be available immediately on the site to buy though.

Free stuff for honest review, no longer a thing?

So i remember when I got my Note 5, Note 7, and LG V20 there were plenty of threads that offered items such as cases, screen protectors, etc all for free if the user posted a review.. Are things like that no longer allowed here? I have a vendor friend from China who still does this, but it's via Amazon.. Just checking to see if XDA disallowed this type of stuff and seeing if maybe that's why none of those posts pop up here anymore..
Thanks!
Your a bit late. There was about 3 of them right before the phone released.
How can it be free and honest? ?

It's highly unlikely to be an unbiased and therefore helpful review. It's getting silly on Amazon now too. Take a look at some of the tempered glass screen protectors for this phone. Quite a few are highly rated, but are from obvious shill reviews and NOT verified purchases. And the fwe verified purchases? All 1 or 2 star reviews from unhappy people suckered by the 5 star reviews. Filter by verified purchase always!

I agree. I've made a few negative reviews on Amazon. Then the seller emails me to remove review via bribe with a refund ? WTF hence why some shoddy items seem to get high star review counts.
Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
For Amazon reviews, I highly recommend Review Meta. They have a couple of Extensions and Add-Ons for browsers that can help you sift out inflated/fake reviews and give you a more realistic rating of items, and it explains why certain reviews are shady too. Of course, it doesn't help for some of the less reviewed items, but their site has very helpful info about how to spot paid and fake reviews. Highly Recommend!!
Companies would give out free items to most people who posted in the thread, now, it seems like they make you fill out a form and they add you to their email list and don't send anything out.
About a year ago, Amazon did away with all of the free for honest review things that they could. They probably still exist, but they get rid of sellers who do it whenever they can. There used to be entire sites that did nothing but hook people up with free or discounted stuff for honest reviews. I got burned a few times by products that are rated 4.8 stars but are absolute crap. I'm glad to see it go. There is no way that you're going to get a pile of unbiased reviews when you're just giving people stuff.
So, have you been honest on your reviews of free products?
Care to link the class to some of your online reviews for critique?

Amazon made a “for show” effort to remove those reviews, but biased/shill reviews still exist there and all over the internet.
Disagree that all 4 star and up reviews are biased. Disagree that the review system bears no fruit and is uselesss.
When I had the HTC one m8 a phone case company contacted me on xda. They sent me a phone case and it was pure garbage. Taking the phone in and out a few times it lost its shape and would say around the phone. I told the company of my findings and he said many had said the same thing. If the fixed it or not I don't kn now but last I heard from them. Asked if I should return it and they said do what ya want with it. So I through it in the trash.
I don't mind being contacted but I don't expect to see free stuff for honest reviews.
Like with my zero lemon extended battery for the v20. Got a 90% discount from them. So I reviwed it on Amazon and zero was upset that I got a discount. Told them I wasn't lying on my review and if they wanted the battery back I would be more than happy to return it to them. I won't lie. I gave them a 4 star because they cheaper out on the cover and made a rubber case to go on the back. To me would allow all sort of dust and other contaminant easy access in to the phone

XDA blocks the companies from doing that because it violate their terms, and they want those companies to pay for the advertising not get it from xda users.
Yeah I got chargers, phone cases, cables, Bluetooth speakers, etc all free for review in the past, but it seems those programs have gone astray. I do see how they could be used in a negative way though, kinda crappy.. I'd be totally honest too lol, like if the thing didn't even turn on I'd make sure to mention that in the reviews lol..
