Its all good. Just trying to find it out. Thanks
They are in framework-res /drawable-mdpi and they are png files. Not even 9.png files, so you can edit them easily. They are called ic_jog_dial somethings....
Hope that's what you're looking for. They are called ic_jog_dial somethings....
woops. sorry. I saw that you're trying to change the text. I dont know where that is. It's definitely not a png. I've been through all the pngs. It must be in one of them xml's. Sorry!
keyguard_screen_lock.xml in framework-res.apk /res/layout Good Luck.

okay, so i have made some simple text icons to use with my theme. and i applied one to test, and it was a little small, which i can fix, but i was wondering how you guys go about positioning them? it's really out of place and i haven't a clue on how to maneuver their positions... Thank you much once again =]

That's probably in some XML files I don't know which though since I've never themed LauncherPro. You can download apkmanager and decompile the apk and look around in there.
okay, will do in a bit, when i decompile, how do i out em back together for testing etc?
and how would i go about getting/finding the xml i need?

You just select "compile" (option number 11 I think). You would have to make an update.zip and flash it to test I have no idea which XMLs it is but usually the names can lead you.
about where at in myphone would they be? lol, in system/bin?

Now that more and more themes are rolling out for the Fascinate I figured it would be time to start a Fascinate specific thread with screenshots of your layouts/themes. Ill start it off with something I finished last night. Will be changing it up probably every other day until I find something that is crazily perfect haha.

What theme/home are you running, I remember seeing someone post up about it but I cant remember what it was called and where they got it.
Old screenshots but should give you an idea of what's coming next.

I'm sorry, I don't want to be That Guy, but how do you theme widgets like that?
The one thing that's been keeping me from using them is a lack of uniformity.

Pull them, edit images, push back into system. Don't worry I will release a flashable zip for the themed widgets.
Here are mine as they go from left to right on my phone.
^^^How the hell did you get you contact pics to look that good? Mine look like a digital camera from 1991 took them, atleast in the people widget they do.
They're the pictures that I assigned to my Gmail contacts on my computer. They were taken with a 10mp camera.
Wish I knew how to do more......

Probably a dumb question with a simple answer, but how did you get your YouTube widget to look that way? All I get is the logo and the search and upload button.

I really like how you are keeping the look UltraLinx(sp?) had going. I look forward to the flashable .zip!
Quick question: I do not see some widget specific .apk's in my system/apps, so where would those be located? I'm thinking data/apps but I'm not sure. Sorry ahead of time if this is a noob question.
Thanks!

Correct on the widgets, they were actually started by someone else but lynx took over at one point.
All your system apps will be in system/app and installed or market apps in data/app.
I will release a zip that will push any themed widgets to system/app.

What popup menus are you talking about? Maybe a picture of that particular issue? I think I may have a solution, but not positive what you're talking about

the third screenshot with the calendar .... the settings that pop up when you press the menu button have no text (they do but is black so u cant see it unless you scroll with the trackpad)
very nice cant wait till its done.
I'm trying to decide whether or not it's LauncherPro or framework-res. Probably framework. Try looking into your res folder of your framework-res.apk and compare it with a regular CM6 rom.
IE check everything that says menu, list, background or bg in the folder. One of em is bound to be it. I'm looking through the folder right now but i need to download a rom to compare it with. If it's not in the drawable image folders, I assume it's a simple color. So check the Menu XMLs in the Drawable folder.

Great work Maybe I'll work on porting your port to 2.1 Sense. Although that's always hard to do with the stock HTC apps.

You would do a great job at it I am sure!! You really should do more for sense. Just theme the HTC stuff yourself. I was thinking about doing one but have been spending my time on the Glacier. Slide stuff is secondary now
So I posted this in the Q/A section but no one could help me out. Since it's a theming issue, I'm re-posting it here to see if I some one will know what I'm talking about. I've been trying to make the jog tabs transparent when you answer or decline a call, and I can't seem to find it. I've already edited the tabs, in the framework drawable-hdpi, so my unlock screen is transparent. But that doesn't seem to affect the tabs when you answer a call. Anyone know the answer? I don't think it's in the phone.apk. Do I need to edit an xml file in the framework? Thanks to anyone willing to help.

So I unzipped it to have a look around and it's not in there. I know if I want to mess with the dialer all the png's are there but I'm looking to make the answer call screen transparent. I found the 'answer' and 'reject' png's in the phone.apk but the tabs around them (the tabs that make it look like the AOSP lockscreen) won't go away.
Sorry off the top of my head I believe they're in the phone.apk. im the drawable-hdpi folder. If you can't find them ill look when I get home.
