I recently upgraded to JPA (from JM8) using Kies.
When i bought the phone i used the "SGS Unlock Tool" to get the unlock codes. They worked fine. But i still used the SIM card from the carrier where i bought the phone.
Now i tried to use a SIM card from other carrier, and SGS is asking for the unlock code again!

And the code i have doesnt work! How can this be possible? This should be a unique code based on the IMEI, right? The IMEI is the same, why it doesnt work??

Hi Guys! what apk or code do you use to lock on LTE/4G network only on your Samsung S4 Active i9295? I've used several apks and codes but none of them worked :crying:
The code is *#*#4636#*#*, but its locked from the factory and you must be rooted to unlock it.

isnt this option configurable thru mobile network section of config?
I bought a used U1. During setup LTE works but after reaching the home screen the connection shuts off and data/calls/text don't work. Tried flashing T-Mobile firmware but same result. Any ideas? Thanks.
Did you try a data factory reset in recovery?
Figured it out. Despite being the unlocked U1 model it was still carrier locked. Had to call them to unlock it.
I think this message that shows up in Settings is related? Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask you if you know any program that inserts / modifies the number of your SIM, obviously the number information, not the phone number to call. Until recently I used the SIM Editor program, which changes the information on the SIM number (with root), but with Android 10 it doesn't work. On the Play Store I have not found anything about it.

Im kinda stuck in a loop, i can't find a way to unlock my X2 Pro bootloader nor rolling back to android 10 (currently using A11)
I tried to change region of the phone by using Oppo unlock tool but that doesn't work too.

yeah i want to change my phone's imei but i couldnt find the method.. everything has a barrier..
I did a factory reset for the phone from settings, when it booted the sim wasn't recognized
checked *#06# and it looked like this
I tried so many tools to restore a lost imei but I found out by (read info) in one of them that the imei is still existed
locked bootloader, official firmware, don't have an nvram backup
DO I have to unlock the bootloader to flash a custom rom and restore the imei
and if so, is there a way to unlock the bootloader without having a sim in it?
