[Q] is there any way to get widgets from launchers?

For example, i dld the LPP and im really diggin the facebook and messaging widgets, as well as the screen rotation in the homescreens, is there any way to adapt that to the TW launcher (default launcher with capt).

Try colorize widget from the market, its very similar to some of the lpp widgets.

But that widget does not work with the TW launcher

Launchers with landscape

Wondering what launchers can go into landscape on the homesreen. I.e. launcher pro the one ive been using works great seeing if there are any better with landscape.

Hey community... I'm new at this, and I want to know what is the best launcher app to customize honeycomb in my xoom? actually I'm running ADW EX and is fast and smooth, but I want more... Tanks people

i ran ADW EX on my xoom while i had honeycomb on it, it was full of options and very smoth.
there is also Go Launcher and Launcher Pro.

Adw EX is my favorite.

You'll find spb shell 3D works pretty well on HC too, but isn't compatible in ICS just yet.

P.S: no stock launcher

Nova launcher seems promising, but I would say trebuchet is a perfect fit for its stability right now.

Nova has the best settings and stuff, so NOVA for me. I needs me my custom icons. Apex Launched will be promising though... it might even become better than NOVA. With the plans they have for it, Apex should become the CM9 Launcher. Why? Because honestly Trebuchet is sucking so much right now. You can hardly do anything with it and I haven't heard any news from it... If it is going to stay CM9 launcher it has major work to do.

GO Launcher is by far my favourite of the ones I have used.
I have used ADW, Helix, LauncherPro and Zeam Launcher but have not tried Nova yet.

I really like launcher pro. Not very fancy but quite functional.

I'm using Nova, while it is very fast and smooth, it does have way too less customizations.

Apex is the fastest one then nova after that when apex gets a few more opinions it could be the beat of all of them right now Nova got more customization but apexs is faster

Definitely the Trebuchet launcher if not the stock one

Nova is my current pick. Custom icons, number of icons in dock, homescreen grid and resizable widgets are must-haves for me. I do wish there are gestures and more dock customization options, but neither of those are deal-breakers.

ADW Ex remains my favorite.
I've used Go, Claystone, Nova, trebuchet, QQ, Live Home, Regina 3D, and SPB, but ADW provides the smoothest operation, great customization, and the backup/restore function works great.

Iam looking for a launcher for my Note which support widgets resize, since I have many widgets are 4x1 only?
I know that the best launchers are ADW, LauncherPro and Go Launcher EX, so which one does that ? and which one is better?

Go launcher ex is working fine for me
But really you better install them all and see what works the best for your needs

i use the re-size function normally for Facebook and twitter widgets and it works perfectly
what rom and kernel are you using ?

Iam trying Go Launcher now
still have a problem with 1 widget for prayer time pro, still does not fill the screen, other widgets are ok, looks like it is from the app it self
iam using Official stock rom with root and franco kernel #9

Well, I am new owner of SG Note. Before, I had SGS and used ADW Launcher Ex. But on NOTE, i have some lags when I use ADW Launcher EX (2 screen with widgets). Could You recommend me some "not-lagging" launcher (except TW - this doesn't have laggs)?

did not like Go Launcher EX because Iam missing the Galaxy Note default launcher widgets such as Month and Task which I need them, will try something else

I use Apex Launcher on ICS & it changes the size of Widgets.
