Hi
I was wondering if anyone had the apk of the new Froyo Car Home, and will it work on the Hero. I was using CM6 for a few days and found it much better than the Eclair one. I've tried looking for the .apk in the ROM but can't seem to find it.
Cheers
It should be there. I can't download the ROM at work so can't check it myself. I am thinking though that maybe it comes in the Gapps addon pack? Maybe take a look in there.
With regards to it working on 2.1, dunno.

It's in the gapps update
Doh never thought to look in there. Cheers.
Comes in 2 parts, CarHomeGoogle and CarHomeLauncher, neither of them want to install :-(
How did you try and install them? If just by using say 'Astro' you would prob need to push them via adb.
Tried pushing it via Androidcommander to system/app but no dice. As I'm running a deodexed ROM would that be a problem?
Hmmm, I think the files just need to be ported to work on 2.1 Not sure how to do that myself, or even if that will even work. Hopefully someone else will know
Well so I flashed the Sense 2.2 rom based on the vodafone release yesterday and everything seems to work just fine.. However I can't seem to find a compatible version of DSP-settings This is really irritating since spotify sounds quite lame without it..
How do I install DSP-settings (or a similar app) on this rom? I just can't get it working, my legend freezer if I flash the dsp.zip that I used on the Azure rom.
Thanx in advance!
Where can I find this dsp.zip so I can take a closer look?

I believe it's this one;

I also tried to install the Equalizer from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=795233
I tried it with Rom Manager and i tried to copy the files manually, but when i replace the original libaudioflinger.so with the one from the DSPManager the phone freezes at the white HTC screen. :-(
The App itselfs starts with the originial libaudioflinger.so - but Settings of course don't have any effect because the libaudioflinger.so is not the modified one.
I hope someone can manage to make a working libaudioflinger.so - this would be awesome!
Update: I also tried to use the libaudioflinger.so from the newest stable cyanogenmod for Legend - but also no success....
Man this really sucks there has to be some version that works for sense 2.2. I mean seriously; dsp manager was freakin' sweet!! I can't understand why nobody seem to miss it...
Is there really nobody who knows how to get a working equalizer to sense 2.2 for the legend??
you tried install it with adb ?

sorry I'm really a noob... how exactly do I do that?
I tried to install the libaudoflinger.so with adb - no success!
When I put the libaudiofllinger.so on the phone via adb the phone doesn't boot up anymore!

Yeah I've got the same problem.. seems the file isn't compatible with the legend... I just can't believe the libaudoflinger.so that works on the Desire is that different from the one we have on our phones I mean both devices are running Sense 2.2...
Perhaps some awesome dev could save the day and take a look a the file?? *wink *wink* ;-) I mean it can't be that hard to port it to the legend and it would certainly make A LOT of people very, very happy
should be able to get it working, cm roms for legend seem to have dsp not?

o.k. attached is a file with dspmanager and libaudioflinger.so from cm 6.1 on Legend (current rom)
Maybe Blayo can look at it to get it working on other roms??

Can this solve the problem of "wonk"?
I am sick of the problem caused by the "wonk"
anyone knows?
Thanks
It's not that simple. And I thought CM7 still uses the stock phone apk and the "wonk" was due to some other issue within the CM framework.
The wonk is a kernel-level issue, and the mini-wonk (that's present in the stock ROM as well) appears to be one as well.
Basically, if you can't stand the wonk, and the dewonkificator isn't working for you, your only real choice is to revert back to 6.1.1 until the problem gets sorted out.
No wonk for me with Dewonkficator app.

Hello everyone!
I am having the hardest time trying to get my Mini Bluetooth keyboard to connect to my Revo.. It pairs, but doesnt connect.
I think I have tried every single free bluetooth app on the android market and nothing has worked.
I read in a few forums that a cyanogenmod might help. But I know that the cyanogenmod 7 is still being developed.
PS: My Revo is rooted.
Any other ideas that might work?
Thanks!!

uhh... well I'm not too sure. I rooted it and then I put the clockworkmod and the decrappifier mod, and also the battery symbol mod on it. The ones from the revolution development forums here on xda.
I tried to use the keyboard before I rooted and also after and it still doesnt work.
Hi there, has anyone been able to get Google Keyboard running on 4.2.2 roms? Ive tried the stock 4.2.2 and ARHD, and regardless of what I do, Google Keyboard keeps crashing, any ideas how I fix it?
The official one from the play store? Works fine on mine, using 422 trick.
Is it better than the default one?
