It looks like my Tytn II might be bricked... I have searched and searched and can not find any info on this. The phone will not turn on. I know the battery is dead, but it should have the power to try to boot. In fact, I have not used it in a while and I just tryed to boot it, it got to the starting screen, then the windows loading screen, and then I walked away for a few minutes and came back it and it was a black screen. Tried to turn on again and it did not power up. Upon plugging it into the charger, I get a solid red light on the top. When I remove the battery from the phone as the charger is connected the LED immediately changes to solid orange, and the blue led next to it comes on as well. When I disconnect the charger all the LEDs go off (obviously because theres no battery) and when i put the battery back in the phone i get a dim red light.
is the phone bricked? im thinking it might have slight water damage but it has been like 2 weeks since then so it should have dryed up i assume. tried to reset a few times with the little reset button next to the charger port, nothing. is it possible the battery may just be done for? any help or suggestions would be great. thanks.
I had that isue but i just leaved the phone on charger and everything came back to normal It's still working very well. But, i cant remember how i get into that situation but i surely know that i saw red light on top .
thanks, now that its been on the charger for a while i now get an orange LED. i will let it charge for a while and see if it awakens after almost 3 weeks of utter deadness.
Try waking it while on charge itslef.

just tried and it got to the very first boot screen and then went black and the orange and blue LEDs stayed on. tried to reset, no luck. unplugged charger, still LEDs stayed on. so then I took the battery out, all LEDs went out, plugged it back in and now i get the same red LED again.
update: now i get a orange LED as its plugged into the charger, but when i try to turn it on it gives the first boot screen for like 3 or 4 seconds then turns off...
I am getting exactly the same problem?
I tried to install android - got it working, came on a few times - then just totally died - It showt he HTC boot logo, but then just turns off.
Does anyone have any ideas.
does your computer see it when plugged in via usb?
perhaps this will help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358136
oh and also you have tried to enter the bootloader mode right?
I've had this issue, millions of times. What I do when I have problems like this (and problems like when I turn it on, it says the battery is low when it isnt, and when you connect your charger/USB, it dies on you)
Try removing and putting the battery back on.
so in simple words
charge the battery first (dont bother trying to turn it on)
and then remove the charger (this plays a big role)
take out the battery, put it back in, hope it works.
The same thing just happened to me, I thought it was toast. I would get the red light when I plugged into the charger, and after a few minutes it would turn to orange. I tried to turn it on then, and it would start to boot up, then shut off a few seconds later. This happened a few times. I just left it plugged in overnight, and when I woke up it was on! Only problem I've noticed is the orange LED is always on, but I can live with that
Just got my new sony experia z, charged it for an hour, put my SIM in and tried to turn it on. It constantly flashes on and off the Sony screen while its charging. When I turn it on it flashes the sony screen and turns off again. I've tried pressing the on button and the up button at the same time and it vibrates but nothing changes. The little red light comes on when it's charging. Have I simply not charged it enough or is it faulty?
Any help would be good

any help please!!
See if you sim is correctly inserted, take it off and put it again
Sounds like you need to charge it for longer before trying to turn it on, wait until the light goes green and then turn it on by holding the power button in (for about 3 seconds) until it vibrates...
Edit: Are you using the official charger? I remember using a mains charger (not usb) and the light stayed red, the light changes to green when charged which usually takes about half an hour.
I've never understood how the screen works while charging, while the phone is off. Is this some sort of system partition, or low powered mode? The reason why I ask, is whenever I try and charge it, the screen stays on, along with the LED Notification light. It never changes, and thus, I can never tell when it's 'fully' charged.
Any help? Is there a way to fix this by flashing something? I feel weird having my screen on all night trying to charge my phone.
Also, I forgot to mention, I can't turn it on, while it's off and charging. If I try to, it seems to freeze, and the only way to turn it on, is to disconnect, and hold the power button until it reboots. Have I messed up something crucial?

Have you tried to keep it plugged in for a few hours?
Yes i tryed for about 4h. Im trying to get it working all day. After i put it on Charger it light red led and stuck on it for about 1h even if i unplug the phone.
[edit]
Now it strated to blink 3 times red light when i try to run it on. After put it on charger it get stuck on red light.
Hi.
Some time ago i smashed my m7 so hard it needed a screen replacement. After doing it myself I connected it to charger, LED started blinking red. So, i disconnected phone and tried turning it on, but it only vibrated and LED stopped blinking.
After that and leaving it for whole night charging i got no more blinking or vibrating when i press power button.
Screen never turned on after my fix.
Do any of the XDA magicians have idea what's going on and how i could fix this?
Thanks in advance! :fingers-crossed:
