I don't know if I am the only one but on the Froyo builds that I have loaded on my Samsung Captivate there seems to be an issue with the keyboard. When I use the keyboard it either doesn't vibrate or has a less noticeable vibration (Haptic Feedback) on the key press.
Yea all of then are like that just go into the keyboard settings and change it

This is a known issue on allot of the froyo builds. Good news it is not just you, bad is no real fix for it.
I think all the other improvements out do the loss

Does anyone know of a keyboard app that will display a software keyboard while the physical keyboard on the MT3GS is extended? I am hoping to find a keyboard app that would display a number row and maybe a symbols row on the screen to be used in conjuction with the physical keyboard to make typing faster, so as not to have to mess with the function button. also it would be handy to have a software question mark key to be used as a temporary workaround on some of the ROM's on the forum that don't have all the keys on the keyboard working yet.
Wth.......... I don't think they have an app like that but I understand what you mean

Is there an option or a setting which will enable "Word Suggestions" when using the Milestone's physical keyboard and CM7?
I've used Swiftkey in the past, which is a great keyboard that does have word suggestions for the physical kbd. But I've gone back to the stock keyboard for now, and I miss the suggestions.

Swiftkey is amazing! I'm using it right know! It's amazing!
When i touch the screen, and the softbuttons at the bottom light up, the physical keyboard also lights up. any way to make it only light up if i open the keyboard?
That's not normal behaviour - have you got a custom ROM installed, or some other app that might be controlling the backlight?
I was running aokp. I changed over to Pac man Rom and it is fixed

The only way I can think you can do this is to root your phone & use the app Tasker, with this im 99.9% possitive that this can be done
If this helps press that thanks button

Hi!
I've been searching all over for this and couldn't find anything... I have a Samsung GT-PT1010 (forgotten device) which can't be upgraded to ICS and I'm not inclined to upgrade it to Gingerbread. However using imitation ICS settings app and the Go HD Launcher makes it pretty usable.
Only thing missing is the bottom-left corner Back, Home, Apps Running buttons! Does anyone know of such an app or maybe some mode of customization to imitate these buttons? The device in built buttons are simply inconvenient.
thanks for any pointers!!!

Hi there,
I have kinda the same problem with my P1010 but for a different reason. My capacitive navigation buttons have started to die, so I decided to use something called Button Saviour. You can customize it to look like the navigational soft keys on many different devices including the stock android and HTC style buttons. Hope this helps!
I will check this out, thank you!
