So i flashed with AXURA B4 and then ran the volume fix update. Before and after the update i have no Notification sounds at all. The only ones that concern me would be SMS Notifications....Any idea what needs to be done? Besides making sure the volume is up lol
Do not open a new thread for this...This belongs in the ROM thread that you flashed...The should be closed.
Go into settings, volume and look at you notification slider. Had the same issue and it turned out to have been off. Oh please post in the correct thread instead of opening a new thread

I had the places app on my home screen yesterday and now it somehow says when I open it, that I don't have that app installed. The icon is still there, looks like a place holder icon. So, how do I get it back?

Sorry, at most forums I visit, creating a new thread would be the best way to get an answer instead of adding it to an existing thread. I guess this place is different. I'll remember that next time =]

Actually he's right about your post...should be in themes n apps or in kaos thread not Dev. Stuff
But into mraket and uninstall then reinstall your app

For some strange reason my calculator is missing the multiplication symbol and I'm not sure why. When I press the blank space, nothing happens (attached a picture of the problem). Any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried re-installing the calculator.apk but that didn't seem to do anything Thanks in advance!

good eye, I didn't even look at the screenie, I bet money you're right. disregard my last comment, odds are since dpeeps is probably correct nothing will show the (x) symbol.
Thanks! Didn't even think about that. I figured if it was just the font then I'd probably still be able to press the button/hear the action when I press it. Hopefully ya'll are right though. Thanks again for the suggestion

Witch launcher are you using? I use launcher pro. It rotates for me. Sorry if this does not help.

The stock launcher does not rotate so you will need to use launcher pro or ADW launcher from the market.

What the others have said. Also, you said not enough posts to ask in development thread. Please understand that that section is dedicated to ROM/Kernel/other Captivate development threads and you were actually right in creating this question in Q&A. Probably a better way would be asking in the Supernova thread then users can answer you even faster
