Now im on Froyo XFJP7, and with CSC XXJP7 i change original HKDDBT on my home network provider code HKDCRO (T-Mobile Croatia), and AdFree dont work, i have "addons" in many aplications. What do you mean by "addons in many aplications" ?
Also how does it NOT work? An error message? Ads are still showing?
Did you try uninstalling it, reinstalling and updating hosts file?
Are you sure you still have root permissions for it?
Yes, Yes, all this make, but still i have "advertisement" banner in most aplications...That not me hapened in earlier Firmwares....

There's a thread with a fix in the Dev section
i found it but that fix is only for rooted phones , plus it doesn't say anything about the JPM versions :\ only for JP6/JPK.
I tried one of the solutions allready and no luck
EDit : http: // forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780896 thats the fix I tried but no luck
Link with the fix.
Any other way to get it to show?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
will this work on any froyo, say JPP?
Found this for anyone whos interested
For those who are using froyo (version 2.2), can directly type about:useragent in the browsers’ address bar, hit Go, go to settings and then select the User Agent string that you want.

Nice thanks!
If it works please tell me ty
It looks as if it will, I have reset mine with adb already but this will work great for future flashes, it will save me time from having to reset it manually.
Noob Question. What does changing the ID do exactly?
There is a I'd changer in the market place that will change it.
The I'd changer does what it says. The new 2.2 has a bug where everyone has the same I'd. If u get ur I'd before u flash to 2.2, then use changer to use ur own I'd.

Allows you to download from the Market without any issues. If there are a ton of users on the Market with the same ID, you're screwed.
Some free apps such as chrome to phone, sgs info, voice search and all paid ones can not found
I swore I have seen one or many solutions somewhere but cant find them now
thanks guys
Btw I live in Hungary

Thank you pagot! thumbs toes way up
I am using Doc's rom and CSC should be the original coming with it.
If I change CSC or kies registry to KOR, do I still need to install market enabler?
Nooooooooooo I wrote it wrong. My english sucks!!!!
Dont change the CSC . Sorry (was meant if it didnt change to the BAAAAAAAAAD KOR while you were flashing)
Anyway try the market enabler . Just backup your setting on the first screen and on the second just long press to fake the first provider there , which is US.
Already did that and works great! I just ask out of curiosity
About if it would work without. I think not. Some apps are only on some markets for some reason. And I think Hungary doesnt have paid apps yet. link
Hi,
First post here. I'm still confused although I read a lot, here, on this forum...
Recently I bought Galaxy S III Mini GT-I8190N phone from a friend of mine, but IMEI factory locked to Orange Romania. First of all I deblocked IMEI. Then flashed with the official firmware I8190NXXAMG6_I8190NVFGAMF3_ATL - Vodafone Spain (because my SIM card is from Vodafone Romania, where I live).
1) How can I unlock CSC or change it from Orange (ORO) to Vodafone (VOD or CNX) in order to make possible Kies updates? Actual CSC is MF3 (ORO) - mean Orange - although I flashed my phone with the most recently Vodafone carrier official firmware.
About rooting I read HERE - in case I'm think to flash my phone with Maclaw's CyanogenMod 10.1 20130919. So, the second question is:
2) It's possible to unroot the phone to the official firmware, in case I want to revert to it's original state? And if it's possible then how?
I would be very thankful if you can describe me, step by step, these two problems!
Nobody has any opinion?
No one can't help me?

Where on this forum it's talking about CSC deblocking?! I haven't found anything conclusive.
Again, I have read a lot, but also is a lot of dispersed informations across the forum and I'm not so skilled. Besides that I don't know wich is the right way to do something that I want to do. This is the reason that I put those questions. For those who read this thread of mine and if they are good/skilled they can guide me with a answer or a link or something.
Thank you.

1. Use csc select from play to choose from the csc's installed on your phone.
Be aware of that changing csc also makes a factory reset. BACKUP your apps and data!
2. [GUIDE] Unroot / Unbrick, Flash official stock firmware on Galaxy SIII Mini GT-I8190

Nope. CSC doesn't change when flash the phone. And I already described in first post, I flashed the firmware and CSC even didn't budge.

csc changer app will work if you are rooted.
sometimes a hard reset after flashing stock will change to the new product code if it is not changed.
regarding the unrooting guide, the flashing procedure is the same for all variants but sure you have to download the right stock firmware for your N variant from sammobile or what else...

First of all I wish to thank you for your reply.
I already tried with hard reset soon after I flashed the phone with official firmware of spanish carrier. But nothing.
Therefore, I supposed to root the phone with ClockworkMod, run CSC selector to change my CSC, unroot back with the same ClockworkMod, after that I reflash (once again) with the same firmware? I understand correctly?

Is your opinion and I'll respect that.
But why should I experience? Just because many others do so then and I must risk to brick the phone just because others do the same?! And yes, I do not want to risk (or if I do so at least I want to minimize all the risks). I'm a newbie in this kind of problems and I want to know, to understand and to put in balance as much as possible.
What is the purpose of the forum discussions if not to provide guidance and advice for others in order that they do not make same mistakes, that for example, I did?!
... that's why I put some questions.
I'm on Stock(H3G-UK) +Rooted 4.3 JB. (I'm in India and this was actually I9305T but I flashed the H3G because I did not like the whole Telus thing coming up when the phone came on. I don't think that should make any difference right?)
Most of the dialer codes are not working. The only ones working are *#06# and *#1234#.
Tried other codes but none of them work. Neither I'm getting any error message nor is it going anywhere, it just stays at the dialer screen.
what could be the problem?
P.S. Tried other on other forums and here as well but none of the present threads offer any solution.

You should flash a 4.3 modem
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Free mobile app
did you delete apps from the /system/app folder after rooting?
please check if the application serviceModeApp.apk is available on that location.
