gotta disagree on that, many user on xda for example put USD and EURO even tho they are in the UK. i do that on Ebay also.
Not being able to do it in person is generally a red flag for me that it's a scam. I couldn't care less if the message comes from the Queen of England.

Try a phone that's not available here. Something European. If you go to www.Ebay.Co.Uk you can get some really good deals on UK phones. Even though the exchange rate isn't equal, they come out cheaper still. Try GSM hero, Hd Mini, tattoo, ect. Stuff along those lines are around your price range. If you want though, you can get a desire over their fot around $300-350. Much cheaper than in the US...

About the same as over here. It really only works with devices that weren't released over here. If your using Android, I would suggest a HD Mini. I really like the design of it and it's really cheap over there. But I would get a GSM Hero... Even though I like the Design of my nexus, I still prefer the Desire, Hero's, and Legends chins...

I got back on ebay and there telling me i owe them 187.68$ for listing charges...wtf? When i listed my last phone it told me like 4$ So i cant buy anything off ebay till that gets taken care of but i can still buy here on the marketplace atleast

Just like any business you need capital to build inventory before you can do anything else, and just because you have inventory doesn't mean you can move it. If you don't understand the business world you really should do some research before you lose a lot of money.

Yes, but what would you ship? You need an inventory before you could even begin to consider selling anything. A customer isn't going to wait for you to order their purchase then for it to ship to them.

That was advice. If you're considering entering into the sales world you need realistic expectations. Having to build up inventory is part of those. Whatever, good luck with your plans, I was simply trying to offer some of my experience since that was something I have some expertise in.

A little under a year maintaining inventory for the US warehouse for a Brazilian shipping company called So' Danca that specializes in dance wear but sells almost everything. Not having enough inventory has been the #1 problem "we've" run into. Customer's are typically less than thrilled to hear they have to wait to receive their order since it's out of stock.

Honestly? A lot. There are hundreds of different Android devices you'd have to accommodate for. The only way to even realistically start would be with iPhone cases. Wide spread popularity and only one model to have to maintain inventory for.
If you insisted on specializing in Android phones you'd need to pick a few popular models (like the S3) and start small with them.

Maybe. Depends on a few factors. How much you're ordering determines both the unit price and the profit on each item. Obviously wholesale pricing is cheaper but that requires larger starting capital, which isn't always realistic. There's no reason to order 10,000 units if you're not even sure you can move 500 and be stuck with 9,500 cases that diminish in value when a new model comes out. You should expect to wind up losing a significant amount of money until you get some real data on what sells and how much of it sells around the time of year you're ordering it (hint, Christmas has a huge effect on sales).

I don't understand how people complain like this. Someone bought a good that was in short supply with high demand. They then resold it for market price. The person that bought it clearly thought it was worth what they paid for it. So big deal, why the hate?

I don't think so, these people are the scum of the earth, they don't create/produce anything of value, only parasitizing, I wouldn't mind if this type of activity was punished by pouring the hot oil in their angus through horn, like in the old days.
The average price of the sold units is ~$649, so nobody is buying them at the currently listed price. They probably jacked it up just to get attention and are preying someone buys at that ridiculous price.

Perhaps he made this thread for those who were skeptical about selling (before N5 launches) or keeping the device and if Google's decision of slashing the price made such people a little upset, they can use OP's link and take full benefit from it.

I wasnt aggravated.. just as I stated, no item sold by anyone will keep their current launch prices.. even cars, dealers see sale decline, they push out promos or lower prices... if you think Google will keep the phones at their launch prices, then you are naive (not really directed to you but to anyone who thinks this way)..
This is just my opinion... and leave it at that....

I purchased a T-Mobile Note 8 SM-N950 Android version 7.0 & want to use it for Verizon. I've been trying to flash the verizon firmware onto this note 8 but when i try to go into download mode this happens:

Yep, $300. I had an iPhone for a while now and decided to switch back to android. I should've done my research. It says "SM-N930P" on the back of the phone.

A Note 8 selling for $300 didn't ring red flags to you? You won't find anywhere that cheap right now a legit one. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Craigslist? Oh your screwed on getting money back. There's fishy people on there. Stay away from craigslist.
FB, Offerup, Letgo, ebay, etc way better. Some knock offs can go for a decent amount. See how much your fake one going for. Post online and let people know its fake. Might be able to get a decent amount of your money back. Seller should of told you regardless.
I’ve accepted my loss lol, I was too naive. I figured if anything someone was going to straight up rob me, not sell me a fake phone. I saw a few of them selling between 300-400, they were all probably scams. It sells for like $90. This knockoff can be used on T-Mobiles network? Might just donate it to someone.

Don't trust people ever online that you don't know. There's always wolfs out there. Don't be a sheep. Be smart. I literally put in my mind everybody is a thief. Although I would love for someone to try to rob me with force. I will help them to hell with my glock 45.
Once again stay far away from craigslist. Yeah donate it to women batter shelter. Claim on your taxes.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard bad things about craigslist. Fake money, robbery, broke products, fake stuff, scams, etc. That site full of scum bags. Delete app and never use again use.

Nice 40. Cal. You can't go wrong with glock. Such a great gun. Definitely most reliable semi pistol hands down.
