looks nice. I wonder how it will compare to the free pageonce personal finance.
I do like the paid with wallet thing though. pageonce cant do that.
Well, not sure if Pageonce focuses on budgeting, its more like a mobile interface of your bank info.
moBudget focuses on budgeting and in helping you to stick to it and optimize it through usage. moBudget does predictions and estimations. It will also alert, remind, set recurrings and etc, but all depends on the data you input.
Pageonce is a free app that connects to pageonce.com server, has it reasons to be free... (http://www.pageonce.com/advertisers)
moBudget stores all information on the device(will have password protection btw), no network transfering/sharing with any server, and of course no ads.
Another thing about Pageonce is that only works for US based banks if you want all the syncing options.
Any idea on ETA? This desperately needed and I will purchase immediately. If you need some feedback I can sideload it for you?
Currently have to keep my backflip around to use the check book I have on it.
Thanks
Talked to the dev guys and say it will be around Dec 15th.
A XAP for beta test side loading could be... I'll update on this.

Ok. A beta will be published soon, late this week could be...
Cool I look forward to it, if you end up posting the XAP I have no problem testing the app for a week or so then report back any bugs I find.
yea, definitely can run the crap out of it for a couple of days and let you know how its coming.
Don't suppose there's any hope of adding in the ability to import and export Quicken files?
I really miss Pocket Quicken for keeping track of my checking account balance and would be willing to purchase an application which I could import/export or (better yet) sync with Quicken...
Import/export might come in the future. The positive side is that we are on the last month of the year, so for those thinking on changing the way they track their finance could be worth to make a clean start on 2011

I was going to ask yesterday when will it release and then today and in the morning, saw an google ad on wmpoweruser.com
using the trial atm.
Version 1.4 has been released and much more stable than 1.0
http://jdbp.mobi/mobudget/
MoBudget WM 6.5.X?
How far off do you suppose WM 6.5.X is? The WP7 site states that it's coming 'soon': is it still in the works?
Thanks!
The release of WM6 has been delayed due to some issues raised on the WP7 version. It is finally becoming stable and all improvements will come as well for WM6. Will be released ending February.
for WM6.x
Soon for WM http://jdbp.mobi/phorum/read.php?18,11035

Tomorrow (August 1st) marks the first day that applications submitted and made available on the Market will be eligible for consideration for the ADC2. Maybe this will open the floodgate for a bunch of quality apps as developers release early in order to build up hype for their product. Or conversely, perhaps apps will slowly trickle out, peaking before the submission deadline as developers feverishly fine-tune away and deny their competitors the ability to copy their ideas. Regardless, it's going to be an interesting three to four months for Android users.
Cool, anyone on xda planning to enter?
I have a Mind Mapping application I'm going to be entering..
It's been a bit of race to get it ready in the couple of months since the compo was announced, but almost there!

Mind mapping is a mental exercise/organizational aid using a freeform visual tree. Its often used as a prewriting aid to help organize and group individual ideas/points before drafting essays, reports, the like.

No idea if the timing was for ADC2 qualification or not, but Shapewriter has finally released their shapewriting IME for Android. Unfortunately, its ringing in at a pretty crazy $20.

The shapewriter apk can be downloaded from their site as well.
http://www.shapewriter.com/apk
Two things of note:
1) They are using an unlock key system, so this version will only allow a 30 day demonstration. Makes me wonder if the Market version operates similarly (or is even the same app) given that generally apps submitted to the market that use unlocking keys generally have a free download for the app proper and a premium dummy download that just contains the unlocking key.
2) It is not a true Android 1.5 integrated IME. Rather, when you want to type using Shapewriter, you pull down the window shade and press a persistent notification that pops up a Shapewriter dialog. It's cumbersome and seems dated. Of course it's entirely possible that the Market version is updated to use the true IME framework.
Bonus) This app asks for the following permissions:
- Full network access
- Location (coarse and fine)
- Phone calls (read phone state)
- System tools (modify global system settings)
- Services that cost you money (send sms)
- Your personal data (read contact info)
- System tools (install shortcuts)
- Hardware controls (control vibrator)
Kinda overboard for a keyboard imo...
Edit: From the Market description "Enable this system-wide input method from Settings -> Locale & text." it would appear that the Market version is a true framework IME.

I double checked HTC's Touch Input and they only have Phone Calls, System Tools, Google Accounts and Hardware Controls. Weird and definitely overboard for an IME.
the key thing that i like about the second round is that it requires the apps to be available on the market. there were so many promising apps from adc1 that never made it to the market (presumably because the devs behind them didnt win anything, so they gave up). this will be interesting to watch.

Looks like the earlier pricing was a mistake. Now at $3.95. Still on the pricey side but tolerable now.
Edit: Interesting, apparently I was wrong. Shapewriter released two separate apps. The $4 app is a notepad (package com.shapewriter.android) with shapewriter built in. The actual shapewriter IME (package com.shapewriter.android.softkeyboard) itself is still $20. Doh. I guess they really don't want people using this technology.

Thank you for trying it out! I'm not sure if I'm reading your question correctly, but
1. If you record the track you can export it to your skydrive in GPX format using the app. GPX format is understood by almost every mapping software, including free google earth. You can use google earth to overlay it.
2. Yes, maps are online only.
I believe you understand my question. My question has been solve.Any difference between paid and trial?

My understanding that people on cell phone contracts have an option to have their app purchases added to their provider bill.
I was using my PC yesterday. When. I try and buy one of the apps. Anyway thanks for answering my question.
Sorry to say that it still ask for credit card when I try to purchase apps from the marketplace maybe my country doesn't support other than credit card.
in france only Orange contracts offering to add your marketplace purchases to your monthly bill...seems that credit card is the main thing for microsoft!
would be awesome to have a paypal option but i won't dream...
btw...GPS Calculator PRO worth every penny asked for!! (mainly if you mind all updates brung by kitya)
I even call my TelCo regarding this issue and they said they don't support Windows apps/Google apps billing to our account. It means that I need a credit card.

I hope that in your next update can you apply it running on background so that we can do other things besides running the apps. Just a suggestion.
I'm the developer of atmosHere (play on words of atmosphere) Weather for Android, an Android app to make weather smarter, and simpler. The app is "Card UI" based, similar to that of Google Now, and is powered first and foremost by the hyper accurate Forecast.io. By using Google's Fused location Provider, we can get your exact location and get down to the minute weather information, all while also getting data for the upcoming week! The app prioritizes information based on the current weather conditions. So if there is a weather alert for your location, that will be the first card you will see! Similar concepts are used else where, if it's raining or snowing, you will get a card for nearby traffic accident counts. This pattern is used throughout the app. This makes it extremely simple to get glance-able information about what is going on right now, and other data that applies based on the conditions. The card ui also makes it simple to fling down a little further for the upcoming week weather, chances of rain, device sensor readings (barometric pressure, temps, etc), pollen counts, UV index, astronomy information, and many more! The app is also extremely configurable, by allowing users to toggle what information they want to see, allowing them to personalize the data they get within the app!
Just recently (last night) I added a new feature that I have yet to see from any other Forecast.io powered app. Forecast.io provides TONS of information, but for the normal person it is hard to parse through all the data given and make sense of it and what it means for the weather. So i have taken the data given, and "pre-parsed" it in a sense, and turned it into a friendly, readable, format when needed. For example, forecast.io provides a summary for a given days' forecast, "Breezy starting in the afternoon, continuing until the evening." and then this is where I come in and add additional, relevant information. So if there is a high chance of rain in the forecast, I will add precipitation information, "75% chance of rain, with light rain starting at 5pm". This gives you the chance of rain, how heavy it will be (can range from very light to very heavy), and then the forecasted time of that precipitation! I also do the same for the given temperature. So you may see "High for today of 35, with a low of 25" and if it will "feel" warmer or cooler than the given temperature, it will also let you know! This makes the forecast for every day personalized and relevant, and lets you very quickly flip to a given day's forecast and know exactly what the forecast is. No need to flip through charts of data, and stare at numbers trying to make sense of them!
The app also features data from other services to aid with contextual information, such as traffic conditions, marine and ski conditions, latest earthquake information, and even a feed of National Weather Service Audio Streams! This will be built out even further going forward, allowing users to custom tailor the weather information they are shown!
The app also features radar data of all types, from precipitation, to weather alerts, and plenty more! Your Android standards such as widgets, notifications, and even extensions for the ever popular DashClock and Muzei are included! The app has already been optimized for Android Wear once it is released to the public. Google Glass has not been forgotten either, as there is a build ready to go for when Google Opens up GDK app distribution!
I have a G+ community setup that I am posting information about updates, bugs, and asking random questions for possible future updates. I will also answer any questions or I am open to just good old conversation! I am always open to suggestions of new ideas for the app. It's been extremely enjoyable thus far getting that app to where it is, and look forward to keeping that going. I also have no problem answering any emails if you prefer taking that route. The about section of the app includes all contact information you could ever need.

I have been doing weekly releases, and the app has improved tremendously over the last few weeks. We are now sitting in the top 30 in free weather app!
I have also worked on a free version, as some people have seemed hesitant to purchase without being able to really try the Card UI style out first.
So atmosHere Weather Free has been published just today!
Google Play Feature!
atmosHere Weather is now being featured on Google Play!
Feel free to join the G+ Community as well to follow development, make suggestions, or report bugs! There's a current Reddit thread right now as well.
I bought this the other day for my brand new Note 4. After installing all it would do is tell me i was running an unlicensed version. Pretty odd behavior considering i bought it via the play store. Had to request a refund pretty much immediately. Shame. I liked the look of this.
Hi folks, I'm new MIUI8 SE user.
I've been using android for 6 years and I'm here - XDA - for 6 years
Since I got my first android phone which was Motorola XT910, I came here xda devs forum and search what can I do. I realized to install roms on android, custom roms. And after a few months I saw MIUI 4 is available for my Motorola XT910. I installed it and it looks great. I can costumize wahtever I want with MIUI4, and later it upgraded MIUI5 bla bla..
After a few years later I bought Xiaomi phone to use stock rom as MIUI. I bought Mi5 and later Mi6. Now I'm with Mi8SE (will continue )
So, I've been almost use all MIUı since 4th generation.
Now I just saw MIUI 11 China Beta released for our and mosth xiaomi phone. I wanted you to see, install this great rom to your phone too.
Here download link page.
How to install?
Just go to TWRP and wipe cache/data,
Format Factory Rest,
Install ROM,
And That's It...
Keep in mind that this is Chinese build and thus do not come with Google Play Services or any Google apps pre-installed, though they are easy to sideload. The features may also be slightly different from what you expect from global builds as well, given that they’re focused towards the Chinese market. Lastly, the language options are likely limited to English and Chinese.
We hope EU rom will be available this week. And global beta will come soon.
