Some Questions

Thank you in advance for your responses, they'll help me out a lot.
1)I understand that Roms are a personal choice, but can you please tell me which are the most popular. it seems dutty's and romeos are the most liked, is this true?
2)Are the driver issues getting solved at all? We have such pimp hardware it hurts me to see it be so slow still.
3)I have kaisertweak, HTC home, and TCMP, and a cracked Opera, what are some other must-have programs tweaks or gadgets?

Look at the thread's with the highest post counts. That's an easy way to determine popularity.

Pimp hardware? Come on, we all know you're some 19 year old white boy from Iowa, so cut out the urban tongue. And about the drivers, nobody cares anymore. My phone is insanely fast due to the ROM and tweak combos I run.

ATT Tilt Custom ROM Reccomedations?

I am using the latest official ROM, but want a faster version. Can anyone reccomend a custom ROM that is mostly based on the official only stripped out and sped up? I dont want to go too custom. Make sense?

Hmmm, you don't seem that new so i'm surprised you asked this :S. There are different ROMs and you should try them ALL out (yes, i said all) to see which one best fits your needs. You have no idea how tedious and stressful (at times) cooking a ROM could be so it's only fair you go try them all out and decide for yourself

I asked only because there seem to be SO many, and I really just want a simple paired down plain-old stock rom. Nothing fancy, just a few "speed her up" tweaks built in. I wasnt about to ask in the ROM thread, thats suicide.. I thought here would be ok.
I have posted some here and lurked for a while now, but only flashed like twice. 1 custom then the 6.1 official. I am not a big flash junkie, only a speed freak.

Anyone got a suggestion?

I you want stock go with "Imnotatreofan" ROM - Stock At&T 6.1 ROM with no bloatware - I have run it and it is very good.
If you want F-A-S-T - the try the "NoThrills" ROM - I am currently running this one and love it. Sorry I don't have links, I just saw your post and thought I would reply.

Useless Thread. Best is Subjective. Try them all. They are like Pokemon, Must Collect them all!

just installed the 3.57.502.2 WWE rom and I am having signal issues

installed this rom I got from HTC's website and I get signal for 1 minute and then I lose it for 2-5 minutes then pick it up again... the phone is stock, what could be wrong? what should I try doing?
I got this phone used off craigslist so it might be defective or something, what do you guys think?

So if it was fully updated using the officiat AT&T update program and your Radio version is now 1.65.21.18 (the R number on the boot screen), try a hard reset and test again. It's always a good idea to hard reset after a ROM upgrade anyway but as the fault was there to start with I think you may need to send it on a trip to the phone repair shop

yup unlees its been changed it could lead to a hard reset!!! from what I read i've not tried it myself!!!

I can get the plugin to enable without freezing under the new hyperdragon rom, but nothing but a different background seems to show up, and in the 'today' settings it is called Titanium i believe. So nothing useable yet. Just wait a bit

Looking forward too didn't realize they used the chome config icons

The HTC Home works on PDA Corners Ulimate rom V17...but you can only scrolll using the hardware buttons. I stuck with the manila 2d that was cooked in. Super fast.

Well it will be nice when someone gets this working correctly. What ever happened to that web interface? Has that been leaked and cabbed yet?

[Q] Problem with overclocked audio

I've been using the optimized rom here in the forum. And whenever I overclock my device to >216mb, the audio always hang in the middle of anything... e.g. music, alarm, call-in ringtone ...
Why's that? How can I solve the problem? Thx...

I had the same problem, Then i just stopped overclocking.........
But My Rom is pretty fast, so no need of overclocking

I recommend you to use Evolution Ultimate it is fantastic and one question
My phone's sound is low is there any way I can boost it, may I do it from phone setting or do I have to install some programs?!
