Amzer Silicone Case

$10 bucks isn't bad. Haven't done a great deal of digging yet though for other cases.
Wondering if At&t is going to have any cases on launch. They have been historically bad in the past at carrying anything but iphone accessories on new launches.

I'm hoping AT&T includes a screen protector with it. They have with all other smart phones I've got from them.

I can't find a single site selling a silicone case for the Focus right now - or any case for that matter. Where did you get yours?

Got my ebay case/skin. It's rubbery, fits well will contours matching the back of the phone. Camera, power, and volume are raised nubs, not cut-outs. Actually this helps with button actuation. Changes the feel of the phone in the hand substantially for the better. You have more control while typing, and you don't feel like the phone will squirt from your hand. Note this is the rubbery-soft type, not the gel type of skin (e.g. like the BodyGlove that AT&T sells).

Yeah, that's the one, or an equivalent from another seller. I'm sure they are all exactly the same. The kiosks at the mall would sell it for $20.

I try the ATT, I wasted my money. It is so tight that the power button is aparently pressed, so become very sensitive. to avoid this I drill a whole in the gel. Not good

Amzer Silicone Skin Jelly Case
I ordered the Amzer Silicon Skin Jelly Case for my Samsung Focus from Amzer.com and WOW!!! ... talk about absolute perfection!
I tried the $34 one from the AT&T store and it seemed like an idiot designed it and so of course I didn't expect much from a $10 case but figured it would be something until more are developed for this type of phone.
Boy was I wrong about this being a temporary fix because this $10 thinhg fits absolutely perfect, no obstruction with the buttons, looks amazing, feels like it protects this thing PERFECTLY! and feels so velvety smooth & grippy.
The reason I got mine already is because the black color is out of stock but not the other colors and so I ordered black for myself and maroon red for my wife and so they shipped hers already with no extra shipping charges. AND might I add that the maroon red doesn't look girly at all, it actually looks pretty bad-a%% with the black color of the phone. Of course I'm still waiting for my black one BUT for those want it now, the maroon red is the coolest color right after black.

I just ordered 2 of those jelly cases for the Wife and I, and I ordered a cool leather pouch w/belt clip case from www.focusaccessories.com to hold mine at work...

Could you post pics of your Focus with the Amzer case?

[Q] Any Consensus on cases

I want to start carrying my A7 to work with me everyday, but I hesitate until I get a case. I'd like a case like the one shown for the nook...one that cover the A7, but gives access to the ports and maybe can function as a stand...what is everyone finding, and what seems to work for a cover?

Casecrown for A7
I received my crowncase case today. Fits well, is cheap and does the job.

I went to Best Buy with my a7 and tried every case they had - and they had a lot. i wanted a case like some made for the nook where the device is inside the case but you can open the flap on the front to access the screen. No dice. I tried a about 12 different e-reader and tablet cases but none of them worked that well. I needed something to protect my tablet so i went with a $20 red neoprene case made by Rocketfish. It fits perfectly and i do like it, but I still have to take it out of the case to use it. That's the only downside to it.

I have to agree with the assessment of the Casecrown A7 case. I bought mine through Amazon and got it with no issues. I do find it a wee bit tight but am hoping that it loosens up a bit if I keep the A7 in it overnight, etc. It's a case, it protects (mostly), and it's cheap. I think that's about as good an endorsement as we'll get.

I have the case off of ebay that is listed in another thread, and it works great. Access to al ports, and fits well too. For 8 bucks, you can't beat it.

Elocity stated that they have finished the design for a nice leather case for the A7. The last I heard was that it should appear for sale on there site soon. That's the one I'm waiting for.

Neoprene half-zip case with front pocket, almost identical to the Body Glove case they sell at Wal-Mart, the little bubbles absorb shock if you drop it. Just received it and the A7 fits perfectly!

Which bublle case did you get. There is a bunch listed. One for 6" e-reader and 1 for Galaxy tablet, etc.

Ebay case
I ordered the eBay folding cover described here...it is cheap, not very well made, and does not hold the A7 well at all...it does not even close properly because the computer is too big...it only cost 7.95, but is not even worth that

A7 Case
I have not seen any cases for A7 that allow use while inside case. what I bought was a "GRIFFIN JUMPER" for eReaders. Found at walmart around $14. Its more like a envelop with ample padding top and bottom and fuzzy inside and heavy stiched edges. Its a pretty tight fit but it does completely cover and protect.

I use a Belkin 7" tablet sleeve. Its a tight fit but does the job.

Received my CaseCrown black faux suade zipper case today. Exactly what I was looking for.
Fit is a little snug when trying to zip it shut, but I think it will stretch slightly over time.

[Q] Cheap Neoprene Case for Nook Color

I've been shopping around for a cheap case solution for the Nook Color and I came across this
The dimensions are 8.3x6 in
The nook color is 8.1x5 in (right?)
Do you think the 0.2 in of give on the top would be enough for it to fit? My wife has this same case in a different size for her netbook and she loves it. It's very well-made considering the price, so if I know the NC will fit I'd buy it immediately.
Anyone own this or seen it or have an opinion? I'm just looking for something functional and cheap. That's it.

Those cheapo neoprene cases have plenty of give. Do remember they were meant for a thicker device so if the dimensionsof the case is a little smaller it should be fine for a thinner device.
My 11.6" dmz1 fits well in the 10" netbook version of this and is a nice tight stretch fit.

That's good to know. I like that it can enclose the device completely or, like my wife does, you can just slip it in without folding over the top. That's perfect for tossing it in my backpack.

Nook color is 8.1" height. Case should fit fine.
You might have a problem with staining though. I see that the neoprene cases that Barnes Noble sells has people numerous complaining about the dye transfering to the Nook. Probably not much of a problem with the color Nook as it is black/grey as opposed to the regular Nook's off white color. Cheap to try out though.

It's quite snug and for a simple way to protect the Color Nook it works fine.
It takes a slight effort to get on because it is so snug.

I think the one you got from ebay is the same as the one I'm looking at but more expensive. Glad to know it works for you!

I have that exact one you linked. It fits very snug with the silicone sleeve. The neoprene smell is really strong the first few weeks. The fold-over style opening does tend to get a little stretched out after a while, but it's still tight so that the NC is never in any danger of falling out. All in all, it's a good sleeve for the money.

I just got mine and without any type of silicone case around the NC, there is plenty of room in this neoprene sleeve. There actually may be a little too much room. But it does do a nice job of protecting my NC when I carry it around.

I got a similar case the week I got my NC which I purchased just after launch. It has done the job well and cheaply for me with no color transfer.

I have that same one, from a different seller and in a different color. It's great. I have absolutely no complaints!

I had a case for my Cruz and didn't like it, too clingy it got dirty quick

Are there reasonable cases available anywhere besides Barnes & Noble? $35 for a case seems excessive.
Something protective for under $10 would be great, whether it opened like a book, used a rubbery skin, or anything else as long as it covered the screen.
The Five Below chain carries a great assortment of iPad cases for $5, but nothing in the 7" form factor. There are so few other 7" devices that I'm finding it hard to pick up anything locally...
Some kind of PDA case maybe?

I just got a roo case for the nook. Real leather, great quality and built in 24 position stand. Quite nice. Around 20 bucks on Amazon. The only hitch is the stand is only for vertical position. I use horizontal far more.

Folks,
If you just picked up a Nook HD or Nook HD+ for the Mothers Day Sale, your local Staples B&M store (USA only) has the Nook HD accessories on clearance. I picked up the OEM charging kit (wall charger with charging cable - http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/pow...26257001?ean=9780594481904&isbn=9780594481904) for $5 and also got a nice case (Groovy Stand in Storm HD+ - http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/groovy-stand-in-storm-hd/26210964?ean=9780594545798) for $5. As usual YMMV as Staples is clearing out all Nook related stuff.

I guess it's just on a per store basis. I just checked my local Staples and there are no discounts on Nook accessories. A very limited amount remaining, but not on clearance.

My Staples did not have anything, Nooks or accessories. They are definitely closing out the product.

I have a couple of staples close by - nothing at either one. Thanks for your guides by the way, running 10.1 through a Samsung SD card right now. Really like this device.

I tried a couple of them, initially each worked but eventually would not boot CWM. Can not post this in the thread on the working cards, don't have 10 posts yet here.

Went to staples in valparaiso indiana. They still had a few cases and a couple chargers. Barnes and nobles has their cases for 25. Found a great rotating case that has plastic feet instead of grooves. In portrait and landscape mode the tablet is very sturdy. Only 1 position butvery good. Great folio design I hadn't seen before.

Thanks for the tip. Staples near me had three $5 Power Kits and a $14 folio case. Passed on the case, but I bought all 3 Power Kits. Last weekend at B&N I bought one for $15, I need to drop by the store soon to resolve another issue so I'll return that for a credit. Three for one, not bad.

If anyone wants a case, let me know. I found a bunch of em at a Staples by me at work.

Pretty cheap. Good luck finding them though.
The official case is the best IMO. Powers the screen on/off when you open/close the cover. I have 3 HD & 2 HD+ cases. Normally $40/$45 respectively.

Picked up the Groovy cases in Black for $4 each and the stock Nook chargers for the HD+ for $2 each. Quite the bargain

I have the Poetic case bought from Amazon for $6. It has the same smart cover feature as you described. I did check my local staples but they didn't have any Nook accessories in stock. So this is definitely YMMV...

anyone able to compare the slimline poetic to the groovy case? I bought the poetic, but I'm liking how the groovy looks in the pictures.

Thanks to the info on Staples closing out their nook stuff, I found a fine MEdge Incline 360 case for the Nook HD there and it rang up at $5. Its a combination case and stand. Dark purple leather with suede-like interior. Its not perfect because it uses elasticized straps around the corners (that make using the power and volume buttons difficult) but its still pretty great.

I got a Poetic case too, but $9.95 delivered. It is black with gray interior and hand strap to hold. Secures around the corners and has two grooves to set the device. Was going to get the 360 case, but read where the portrait mode is not stable, so falls down. Same problem with my iPad 4 and went back to a similar case like the Poetic for that as well.
Nice that the wake function works by default with CM 10.1. Magnet must be strong, since the display goes off when still almost three inches away from closing.

I got a Nook HD+ Groovy Stand in Storm from my nearby Staples in Miami for $ 4.00, could not find the charger.

I wonder if its too late to go looking. Just got my Nook HD+ a few days ago but all the posts by people on xda and slickdeals about nabbing the clearance accessories are like a month old.

I've been checking in the northern New Jersey area with no luck. I purchased an extra charger from Tiger Direct for 13.00 and ordered the Poetic Graph Grip case with a sleeve.
