Developers ... Inquire about cooking rom
Hello all!
I have several questions about cooking
- I want the software used for cooking
- I want an explanation of the cooking
- I want the program to modify the programs Android apk
- I want an explanation of the work and bootanimation.zip amendment to the Theme and modify the file framework-res.apk
I am waiting for your answers and thank you in advance .....
where are you ?????!!!
I need help immediately please ....!!!!
I think people people felt that your tone was a bit brusque and demanding, and that you were requesting far too much from strangers on a volunteer forum. In English using WANT like that is a bit rude, and saying "thanks in advance" at the end doesn't help much.
If you are serious about learning how to cook ROMs, no one can walk you through some magic formula step by step. You say you need immediate help, but the process of learning can't be rushed. You need to educate yourself. Google is your friend, use it and read and learn. Then start to experiment for yourself. There is no other good way to do it.
Good luck.

Thank you for such wonderful support
You are one of the biggest forums on the development did not answer at all but silly words
Greetings to you all
Dear Friend what you request does not have any answer because it is not a step by step process or can not be included in a post or maybe two.no one has the time to answer it either.
but just for the beggining you may start with apktool or smali / baksmali to learn how to compile and decompile apk files and jar files. these are the key files for now you may google it to proceed. sure it will take a few weeks at least to learn some about these keywords and their functions
Hi i've been using the x8 for 2 months now running on GingerDX v009.. I've learned many things from this community.. and i wanna learn more..
For starters.. How do i build a ROM? using ROM kitchen? if yes which one is compatible with our X8? Will i need extensive knowledge in linux or in programming?
With the ROM kitchen you don't actually build a ROM, you just give it some features (I've tried it). If you know anything about coding and stuff like that, I've been told that the android developers site is a good start. I'm a beginner myself. So far I've made only an icon pack apk LOL

I want to start too. Can you or any other give me an "How to start guide for NOOBS" for me? I'm really noob in this xD
Before you start developing, you should know how Android works. As I said before, you will find everything you need in the Android Developers site. And..c'mon! You can't start making ROMs when you haven't even made a simple app yet!
I want to start developing apps, and after that developing some modifications to existing apps and system files. When i know how to do that i can simply make a rom because i know how to compile roms on kitchen

Take a look at this.
I don't know if this is good, because I didn't read it all... but I think it may help you

(this link is in portuguese, so don't bother going there if you don't understand)
Online tutorials might help you... There are a lot of them out there... Choose the one which you feel is better... I'm also on the same boat as you..
I personally prefer "thenewbiston" channel.. There you can find tutorials for android application development as well as java(which is very important for app development)..
Then you can move onto cooking roms...
All the best....

First step: Search in XDA
Second step: Read
Third and following steps: you can do it alone.
There are many, many threads in XDA related to questions like this.
If you do not want to learn a little bit by yourself, I think you shouldn't try, but wait for good Custom Roms - these will have many added features, fixes, mods that you'll never find if you wait for instructions.
I just did this with my dumps and started to build a Custom Rom - not for using it as everyday Rom, only for the learning fun.
For an everyday Rom I will use one of the coming High-End-Custom-Roms.
Hello ! I want be a dev android.
Can someone help me !?
Sup!
If you wanna be a Android Developer you need to do your own search and start from somewhere.
First of all, you need to learn the basics of android program language(Java) and then start to make some little projects.
Programming it's like Math, you have to pratice a lot.
Do it by yourself.
Have a good day!
