Xperia Mini

Found my X1 sitting in the back of the drawer last week. Did a quick search and found out there is now a NAND build of android for it in the work already, great stuff!!
Last time I checked (a good while ago), sd card version of froyo was still very buggy and development seems to have put on hold. But now I noticed it is very lively here! Thanks XDA members.
My question is, has anyone ported the Xperia mini launcher (or the nand droid backup) into our X1? I tried searching, but did not see any roms build with said launcher. I think for the size of our screen, a port of a Xperia mini's rom would work wonders!

For Xperia launcher port there was ARCDroid which having Xperia Arc launcher and lots of Xperia Arc stuff in the build.. it was using SD card method to boot android..

The size of screen is ok, but the resolution (480x800=WVGA) will make mini launcher to look a bit choppy (designed for 320x480=HVGA)
Till now, the best choice and the only one is ArcDroid by Jerrytan.
But I suggest jerrytan to make a NAND ROM for us.

Which Phone Should I buy?

Im planning on trading my phone but which one should is better in camera,display,sound and also rich in features and have most progress with development in xda?-Xperia Mini Pro or Sony Live with Walkman?
Im interested in mini Pro because of its keyboard,it can also be used for gaming,but im interested with the live with Walkman because of its unique design and its headset that comes with it,please help me made up my mind...

Live with Walkman. Great sound big screen and everything 1ghz processor also.

Well,live comes whit front camera too,ins't?but anyway i prefer Mini Pro just because its keyboard,the headset you could buy a better one (looks good,but its not the best and have not much difference from the one from mini pro)and about sound quality,its android,you can change the DSP to your like!
Oh,and i think mini pro have more activit on XDA!

nah,it isn't available only country yet,but I mostly interested in live big screen and design(for me it's pretty stylish) but mini pro have da keyboard and bravia engine but live can also have bravia engine by custom kernel...but which one can be overclock up to 2ghz...probably both...ooh I cant made up my mind...

Live with walkman :
- Stereo speaker
- 3.2 inch screen
- Front facing camera
I have seen those phone

my dad has a live with walkman and he says that it is really good. has a great processer but its with gingerbread. i think it has touch buttons as well

I should recommend Live with walkman

I think I'll go with Sony live,because the camera are more stable than mini pro and the large screen but is the live with walkman's screen contrast more poor than x8 or is it better?

I think x8 screen is better than live with walkman screen.

hi everyone. this is my first post in XDA.
I have a question would.like to ask. Im currently using samsung galaxy note2, it is very good overall, however, i feel the origial photo widget is inconvenience for myself - it doesnt like Xperia S which I can swipe photos on the widget. so im looking for a similar widget which like that. I did search on google and here. i found the xperia Launcher/go theme. but i need the widget only not a whole theme. can anyone help??? it would be a big help for me..

So YesterDay i Bought a Xperia Z i Liked Almost Every Feauture Except For The Colour Reproduction And i Came To XDA Developers And Installed ROMS And Tweaked it A Bit But What i Cant Tweak is The Colour Reproduction so i Thought About Creating A Thread Atleast A Request To All THe Developers Who Make The Impossible Possible , You Guys can Create Anything Im A huge Fan Of Your Work Who Kill Their Time TO Make ROMS For Free So As A Request I Want All The Developers TO Create A Adobe RGB Like In The Galaxy S3?? i Mean For Better Colour Reproduction When I Bought the Phone i didnt like it So Much I Rooted IT with The help Of All Developers And Want To Say Thanks To Them i Installed Roms, Black Nav Bars, Sound Mods And Made The Phone ALOT Better THANKS TO ALL Although I Want All THe Developers To Create A ADOBE RGB OR Some Sort of Contrast Increaser As All THE Developers make impossible Possible SO The Phone Gives Better Colour Reproduction And Awesome Contrast

The way you wrote this I don't think many people will even read what you actually wrote.... at least I didn't even bother.
If you have something to say why not stick to the grammatical rules like only capitols on the first word of a sentence unless it's a name or something...

There is something called full stops and New lines dude.
Did you try the white balance apk that was ported to XZ from xzl?

If you are comparing AMOLED to LCD, you will never get the same godawful, ugly, inaccurate colors as Samsung AMOLED. Also, the contrast won't be the same. Different screen technologies.

Hi all, just joined the forums and this is my first post.
Whilst the OP is written terribly, his point remains. This is an issue on the Z.
I almost want to take my V back from my girlfriend because of this!
Any update with regards to adjusting/adjustments made to the contrast and colour accuracy?

Is it an official update, or do I need to download it?
Like I said, I'm new to the forums, which in my case is new to Android as well. I know of custom roms, firmware, kernels etc, but have no idea how to do it.

It's an official update. Connect your phone to your pc and use pc companion to check for updates.
