When I reboot my G1 (which runs CM6) or turning it off and then back on, the anysfot keyboard doesn't loaded at startup.
I have to go to setting and make sure the Anysoftkeyboard is checked so I could use.
Isn't there a way it will automatically loaded after rebooting the phone
I downloaed the keyboard from the market and also the Hebrew add-on.

N1 with Cyanogen 6.1 RC1 soft-reboots when using Navigation + Slacker

Hey all,
Just got my ATT N1, rooted it, updated to the latest baseband, and using wildmonk's kernel (2.6.35.8_SVS-950mV_CFS_AXI_720p_1152MHz_111110b). Using beta cyanogen 6.1 RC1. Not overclocking.
When I run slacker in the background while using Google Navigation, after awhile it would soft-reboot (shows the animated cyanogen logo). Im guessing its something memory related? Whenever I just run navigation or slacker by themselves, it works fine.
Any ideas what is wrong? When I was on the stock rom/kernel/etc, the slacker + nav combo worked out great.
Try the normal non-OC/UV kernel and see if that works.
You could also try a cache manager, because both those apps can cache a lot of info...

i found the culprit. I was using LCD density changer and set it to 200. For some reason that causes the phone to become unstable, especially navigation + slacker. anyone else have this problem and have a solution?
I have tried rod's MIUI rom, and changing the LCD density to 200 causes the phone to soft-reboot almost everytime you try to awake the phone from sleep

Amazon mp3 doesn't even open

I have a gtablet with CM7 on it. Everything works beautifully except Amazon mp3. It doesn't even open. Actually, when it installs, it doesn't show up in the app drawer, but I can add the widget to the home screen.
When I add the widget, and I press it, the screen turns white, like it's about to do something, and then nothing.
I was just wondering if anyone had any similar problems. The app worked fine when I was using TnT 4, but it doesn't work with CM7. I don't know exactly what the issue is or what channels I should go through to see about getting it fixed.
Check to make sure your keyboard/language is set to United States (English). I had that issue with Vegan Ginger, and part of the issue was that it was set to something else.
However, I had it return later, and it was more like you were describing - unable to add the app at all (except for the widget). I used TI to do a backup and did a factory reset and reinstalled Vegan Ginger. I haven't had the issue since I switched to CM7, but I think that might be the way to go. Backup, do a factory reset via Clockwork, reinstall CM7 (newest nightly, 7.0.3 has with the new Google Music player), let Google automatically restore your apps (as many of them as it can). Amazon MP3 should be done that way; if not, manually install it. See if it works. If it does, go ahead and restore data to the apps that you want to via Titanium.
I had the same problem before while running the 2.0.3 version of the app, I found the 2.0.2 version and it's working just fine. I see that there is an update to 2.0.4 but I haven't updated it as I don't want the errors again.
I changed my keyboard to english (United States) and it totally worked. Thank you very much. Such a helpful place, xda

[Solved] Pinch-to-zoom commence lag on various browsers

Hello,
the stock firmware of my GT 7300 showed some strange behaviour when it came to multi-touch zooming in web-browsers (I tried stock browser, Dolphin HD and Opera):
When doing pinch-to-zoom, there was initially a small lag until the actual resize happened, kind of "the tablet needs some time to recognize that it should start zoom-mode" (I think it was the time between the text turned from sharp to blurry). When I would keep my fingers on the screen after "zoom-mode enabled" and resize up and down, the resizing itself was very smooth, immediately following my fingers.
After installing Overcome ROM, the lag completely went away (tested in stock browser and Dolphin HD). However, yesterday it came back, again for both browsers. The only thing I'm aware of having changed was playing with keyboard apps.
Today I tried reflashing Overcome, which didn't help, and then reflashing Overcome with data wipe, which DID help- the lag is gone again. Because this gives a pointer to some configuration affecting the behaviour, I've backuped system data so I can go back to that state, and hopefully figure out the difference in the configuration when the lag comes back.
What I'm really surprised about is that I couldn't find any reports about such a behaviour, neither on xda-developers nor via googling. Am I the only one who has/had that problem? Is anyone out there that know about this issue and possibly knows the configuration setting that affects the behaviour?
Regards,
labosch
I finally got it!
It's the "tilt zoom" feature that causes the lag. If you disable it in the system preferences, pinch-to-zoom in browsers works fine!
Sammy gimmicks...gotta trust 'em, huh.

setcpu profile - no notification?

I just purchased SetCPU to try and help with some occasional hiccups I get on Pandora when my screen is off. I tried to create a profile so that SetCPU will use the Performance governor whenever Pandora app is active, and set the profile to include a persistent notification so I can tell it's on and working as desired. However, I get no notification icon, and there is no indication that the profile is active whenever I'm using Pandora. I tried creating similar profiles for other apps with the same result.
I'm using a rooted Galaxy S5 (AT&T) on stock 4.4.2, and double checked that SuperSU is set to give SetCPU permission. If I change the main SetCPU profile and click "set on boot" - the new setting DOES stick on a reboot. So it seems like the app is working in that way.
Can anyone confirm that profile notifications work for our phone? Or clue me in to what I might be overlooking? Is something else required to trigger the notification aside from selecting the App when creating a new profile?
