I was running CM4.2.1 with SystemForce 3. I wanted to install the SystemForce 3 themed HTCMusic player. All I did was go into recovery and apply any zip. as you can see from my logcat things didn't go so well...

I have installed "the missing nexus one boot screen" but cannot get the sound file from the post to work. I have searched forums everywhere and have tried everything. I am running the newest stable build of Cyanogen 6. Can anyone help please?!?!?!?!?
Type in google (missing nexus one boot screen) to find the link under search. It wouldnt let me post it in here because im too new I guess. It is an xda forum too.

First, thank you lufc, I haven't been on the forums for a while, so sorry. :3
Next, I downgraded my phone to V4 yet I'm still having this exact same problem. However when I execute rage it runs, then adb disconnects. I restart adb and the phone either discontinues to show up or is offline.
Anyone that can help me?

The latest firmware release prevents rooting. Look in About Phone, and if the version ends in V6 you'll have to wait for an updated rooting tool release.

Hi Guys,
Well switched over from the iPhone world to my HTC Vivid. As far as the iPhone goes I know pretty much everything there is to know. Now on my HTC I'm a little lost I've been reading through he forums for a couple days now and visited the HTC Dev site to Unlock Bootloader still can't figure it out a bit confused. If some would be nice enough to explain to a n00b with a Android I would appreciate it!

It will tell you everything you need to know. It doesn't matter what rom you are flashing same instructions will apply that are in the video.
Second, you need to pick a rom to flash. There are several on the forums or you can also go here:

I had a live wallpaper on my old phone (htc desire) called "Flame-Haired Shana LiveWall" available on android market (from spatulacorp). seems it's been removed from the market. but i can still view the market page, it just says my new devices are incompatible.
I was wondering if anyone who has it could upload the APK so I could try installing it directly? or would that not work?

as for google, the first couple dozen links i tried only had links to the market page and not apk download, so i figured i'd ask here...

anyone else have any idea? i've still had no success from google or anywhere...
I'd like to know it too, i have it installed but next week Ics update will be realesed for my device and would like to know how to install it again.
