I have my lcd density set at 190 and I get this terrible overlap with my keyboard. Out happens with every type of keyboard as well.
I can't find any settings to fix this or any forum posts in reference to this.

Set your LCD density back to normal. If you don't want that, you should probably just disable popup
Um, to be slightly more helpful......
I switched to ChompSMS for this reason, I find with a density at 209 it was less extreme in handcent. You can also try changing from "Full" to "Lite" view in the settings, but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect.
I'll be following this for a solution, it's the only app I have trouble with when changing the density.
Thanks for the responses guys! To bad there isn't any hope .

So I found a new sms client I'm Really starting to like!
It's called Go SMS and it work great with LCD Density Changes!
(Plus it's very simple but has a VERY polished look!)

Hi all. I'm looking and trying but I can't find the setting to make all the buttons hidden during a call and just show a tab to drag up to show the dialer. I've set it before but it gets reset everytime I update cm7. Thanks!

Ok, still no solution, so maybe this will help....
currently my in call screen looks like this:

}
It used to look like this:
Somewhere through updating the cyanogen 7 nightlies I lost the option for "Force Touch UI" so that option is of no help.
any help would be great as I keep hitting buttons with my face because the proximity sensor on the phone is crap

The heroc does not have a proximity sensor.
As to the other question, I have not been able to find the option to hide the buttons. The only thing I can think to do would be to set the screen to turn off sooner.
There was an app or mod a while back that used the light sensor to turn the screen off or make the buttons go away. I cant remember what it was called but should work.
The second screen shot looks like an alternative dialer app. Might be worth it to try a non-stock dialer app to see if it does what you want.

I've created a little app that lets you set the touch key brightness, but most significantly, restores your settings on boot.
It's 99p and you can find it in the Market.
I've posted some additional technical info in this topic in the Development area.
Cheers!

must buy item ^^
The same thing can be done with launcherpro for free?

Indeed, Hidden Menu does this for you, much easier and cheaper imo
Please..somehow make this so you can light them up for notifications! That 99p price and be 5x higher if you do..it cant be that hard..take the code from apps like SMS popup and combine it with your code for touch key brightness, maybe?
Please show me how to make hidden menu restore the value on startup, the point of this app... thanks.

those look like Launcher pro icons there are tons of those white low opacity icons floating around probably why its hard to find try getting the app launcher pro icons there are a ton in there you might find the one your looking for they also have a website if you want to look through there database and just grab the icons you want if they're there!
I might be able to help you but i can barely see those icons your trying to find to actually distinguish between them..Like the guy above there are many that look the same so hard with a small pic to match them like that!

Give me your email, I have these installed on my phone and they are in the icons thread but they are deep in there and it would probably take a while to go through that entire thread. I think I have the name of the zip on my computer at home but I am at work and wont be off until 4 if you want to wait.
I have been looking for these as well.
Edit: Nevermind found it on Deviant Art. Give the creator props

Hi all.
I'm running DjangoManouche X 1.2.1 and have applied Tonyp's dpi changer (at 190dpi). The lockscreen has a bit of an issue with scaling (see image).

I've tried resizing the images bg.png & bg_tiptry.png in the apk but it has no effect. Anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks

You cannot do that unless you are using PA. I suggest you to baksmali the lockscreen.apk, and change all the dpi values.
oh, and remember to sign it.
that way, you are good to go

Thanks...
So I had a look at the smali but had no idea where to find the dpi info! Realised I'd been resizing the wrong elements anyway. Resized the correct one and now it doesn't display that element at all! On the plus side, lockscreen looks ok now though...

Here you go. No guarantees!
I have seen in several apps the Samsung keyboard is shrunk by almost half, not touching the sides of the screen, and it's like a miniature version of the keyboard. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it just an app developer thing that is conflicting with the new screen size?
One app I know is doing it Hearthstone

Turn off one handed mode. I use Gboard for its larger, more customizable keyboard.

That's not the fix.
This is the gaming mode keyboard. You need to go to Game Tools and turn the gaming keyboard off.
I searched settings for all things game, none have the keyboard option. I looked into the game launcher settings, and it wasn't there either.
It was a setting in game tools. It's called floating keyboard, and it was auto set to on. I had to open a game, go to the game tools icon on the nav bar, then go to "additional feature". The option was in there.
BTW: thanks for the help guys.
