Hi all.
I'm running DjangoManouche X 1.2.1 and have applied Tonyp's dpi changer (at 190dpi). The lockscreen has a bit of an issue with scaling (see image).

I've tried resizing the images bg.png & bg_tiptry.png in the apk but it has no effect. Anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thanks

You cannot do that unless you are using PA. I suggest you to baksmali the lockscreen.apk, and change all the dpi values.
oh, and remember to sign it.
that way, you are good to go

Thanks...
So I had a look at the smali but had no idea where to find the dpi info! Realised I'd been resizing the wrong elements anyway. Resized the correct one and now it doesn't display that element at all! On the plus side, lockscreen looks ok now though...

I have my lcd density set at 190 and I get this terrible overlap with my keyboard. Out happens with every type of keyboard as well.
I can't find any settings to fix this or any forum posts in reference to this.

Set your LCD density back to normal. If you don't want that, you should probably just disable popup
Um, to be slightly more helpful......
I switched to ChompSMS for this reason, I find with a density at 209 it was less extreme in handcent. You can also try changing from "Full" to "Lite" view in the settings, but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect.
I'll be following this for a solution, it's the only app I have trouble with when changing the density.
Thanks for the responses guys! To bad there isn't any hope .

So I found a new sms client I'm Really starting to like!
It's called Go SMS and it work great with LCD Density Changes!
(Plus it's very simple but has a VERY polished look!)
Many of you unaware that the look of Cyanogenmod 7 doesn't represent the look of Android 2.3, with only the top bar looking like it did in 2.3 the rest is ADWLauncher, So with ADWlauncher ex you can customize the look more, And what i'm after is the remaining 2 things i need.

As you can see the dock isn't really the same as it is in 2.3 so anyone out there with the right file?
Also the drawer icon is low quality, all i need are those 2 items, please help me find them.
Did you try just taking the images directly out of a Gingerbread launcher.apk?
While I'm here, love the use of the new Chrome icon for the browser - would you mind uploading it?
EDIT: After fishing through a Gingerbread launcher.apk, it seems the dock background is actually made of multiple images, since there's no single .png for it. The app drawer icon's an easy find, though. I'll upload the apk for you.
Have you thought of using the gingerbread launcher instead of adw.?

I know what you mean dude, and i agree but also you do get a lot more in the way of customization with ADW...then again there IS a Gingerbread theme on the market for it :S why bother with this?
Hi, I would like to resize the top of the notification area, which I marked in red color. I have full access to framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk, which I modify constantly. I also have experience with the .xml so I am not looking for an easy question like "I want an apk to do that".
I just can't find what I have to modify to make it smaller. I've tried to make the png of that area less tall but didn't work, it stays at that size.
Waiting for your help, thank you very much!

Are these sizes not defined in framework res layout statusbar_xxxx.xml files?

Thank you, I eventually did it after a few attempts. I could "delete" that top area and also the "Ongoing" and other notification types titlebars. I have a HTC Wildfire (small screen) so every pixel is valuable.
This is a screenshot to show the results, all widgets and notifications in the same space:

I can't tell since I don't use a Cyanogenmod ROM. I use a semi stock Sense ROM.
Hey,
I've taken ~GU5TAF's clock widget for mClock and modded it to put the date in as well, like this original MIUI widget:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
My attempt is pretty tame, but I think it works. Here it is:
Right now it's only a mockup in Adobe Illustrator, but this afternoon I'm gonna code it into mClock and try it out. If there's interest, I'll ask ~GU5TAF for permission to release it
All credit goes to ~GU5TAF; I only added the date and day part, and even that was MIUI's work, so I did nothing really
I'm also working on an inverted colours version of the clock (like in MIUI), so once that's finished, that'll be posted here as well
Thanks,
Phil
EDIT: The pictures aren't showing up for me and I have no idea why

}
font in the screens: Ubuntu , Ubuntu and Arial
Tested fonts:
Arial
trebuchet
Ubuntu
PD: Fonts are in the app
After installing some fonts I got stuck at the boot screen, so have a nandroid backup at hand. Probably ticking all system fonts to replace was the problem.

This app made me get into a bootloop when switching fonts for the 3rd time. Good app nut be selective on what font you want!

Make a backup guys
What fonts cause a bootloop?
I tested Ubuntu and trebuchet, and works fine both :3
I used Ariel I think, but don't remember exactly. I guess the problem was, in the settings I ticked to replace all the system fonts. Have you done that or left it as it was?
Ariel? I will try, wait 5 minutes :B
Sorry man, but works fine
Img:
in the settings, did you tick to replace all the system fonts or not?
Yes :3
hmm.. maybe it was a different font then. anyway, good to have TWRP
Probably is the ROM, I use Stock Rom
