Help!How To Install Arabic Language support on custom ROMs

hello to all, I would like to seek you guys for help on how to install arabic support (Imaginet) on modified ROMs. With my stock ROM (UK) before,there is no problem installing the arabic language. But then, after trying and upgrading my X1 with the custom ROMs (itje,smabergs,valkyrie,energy,etc) i cannot install it anymore..anyone knows the solution? Thanks in advance!

hey guys , is there is a way to port a language support to any rom using the kitchen?
for example i like vanila rom , but would like to add arabic to it
any one tells me how to do it?

Is there a rom that support arabic language ( writing and reading )
for milestone.
I've tried cyanogen6
at first it's good but when i start to install apps. it gets slow and slow
so any other arabic supported rom?

You can try Dexter's miui rom based on D1 that Dex released first which is available at http://dext3r.komodin.org/MIUI.ZIP. Please note that there are a few niggles with this ROM. Data network does not work. There is a workaround for the sd card issues. Look at this thread.

I'm not sure BUT I think the official ROM from Cellcom (Israel) has Arabic in it.
But again, I'm not sure.

Look for the Cellcom 2.1
Don't be bummed out if it doesn't have arabic in it and you wasted your time flashing it.. Just a friendly warning
I'm just thinking it does because Cellcom has arab customers so some of their phones have arabic.

Are you looking at Froyo based ROM's (2.2 )? Because the one i mentioned is Froyo. The cellcom ROM that's mentioned is Eclair ( 2.1 )

Then i suggest you download the cellcom ROM as it is an official ROM. So you will not have any problems.

i've tried motosense but the arabic letters become squares.

[Q] Q : is it possible to add a new language ui to stock rom?

This is my first post. I know basic procedures so I am not a total noob
My question is in general for most samsung models but right now it regards I9001 and S5570 models.
Is it possible to take a stock rom (for instance an arabic based stock rom from samfirmware.com so i already have rtl supported) and then add another language to this rom so user interface will be supported in a new language?
Which file do I have to retrieve by adb? How do I edit?

How to make SXL read ARABIC without flashing new ROM

Hey guys,
SXL on 2.3.5 does not display arabic font properly.
I have researched this issue and the only solution I found was to flash a special rom then apply a patch.
However, what I'm looking for is a workaround/patch/app that would allow SXL to correctly "READ" arabic,
without the need for flashing a new ROM. I'm not interested in typing Arabic, I just want it to properly read it.

You need to patch your ROM with madmack's tool BUT the ROM has to be deodexed.. so u need a custom rom any way...
This ROM is already arabic enabled...

I see! I guess I'll update to ICS once and for all. ICS supports arabic font by default.
