Im sorry if this has been covered somewhere on here, but im at work and this is just faster. In adw launcher I accidentally replaced the app drawer shortcut at the bottom and now I can't find a way to get it back. Any help? Thanks.

1. long press on desktop.
2. custom shortcut
3. pick activity launcher actions
4. choose open/close app drawer
(you can also give it a custom icon now)
5. drag the icon back to where you want it
Thank you very much sir.

Is there a way to remove the stock unlock screen so I don't have two while using widget locker? I would want to maintain my numeric lock.....I tried searching for a setting and don't see a way
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
after installing widget locker, you should not have your stock lock screen anymore. this is supposed to replace that....at least thats how it works on my phone.
Weird, cause I have both

Maybe it doesn't work well with cm6?

How does widget locker work?

I'm pretty sure it works by essentially creating another "launcher" or "homescreen" on top of your actual launcher (Sense, LauncherPro, ADW.Launcher, etc) that just shows up everytime you unlock the device. Think about QuickDesk, same principle.
U can always delete the htclockscreen.apk via adk
I read that if you remove that one that it gets replaced by a vanilla one??

Yes but it's not as simple as that. What happens when you do that is you end up with a messed up Vanilla lock screen... you can see what I mean here
http://geekfor.me/hero/fixes/vanilla-lockscreen/
You need to go a few steps further (as detailed in the website) to fix it
So I can either have two lock screens or just not use widget locker, from what I can tell by trying it out.....having two is defeating the purpose though...

Widget locker should disable the lock screen if it's set up
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Yeah, I get that...just wish it worked lol....legit, when I wake my phone, I slide the lock on widget locker, no password needed, then my regular lock screen comes up, I slide and then put in my 4 digit password....

Ah. Yes, I think if you have a security screen it does that. But not much you can do about it I think.

Yeah, I use it so my girlfriend doesn't find out about my girlfriend lol

If you are running CM7 you can go into the settings for CM7 and disable the lockscreen but when I do that its weird. When I slide the slider it goes to my pattern security but right before that i see my homescreen flash. Its like a glitch. This happens all the time smh. I expected Widget Locker to be more efficient.
As the title says.
I'd like to use a custom launcher the blur one is a little laggy. But I love the "Quick Contacts" widget.
But when installing launcher ex or launcher pro it doesn't show. It's there but can't see it. Anyone else had this???
Like you, I LOVE that widget, however, there is yet no way to get it to work in any launcher besides the stock blur

Ugh. That sucks. Hope it will be fixed soon :-(
Go launcher pro has a widget similar to the stock contact widget and you can size it the way you like.

I know I know. But it's for sure not as amazing . If I size it the same it takes a whole screen. The moto one is just awesome. Snifffff
True. It doesn't pull down like the stock one.

Yeah, the stock one is really pretty, animated, and only takes up one line of screen when you don't need it.

Hey guys.
I've been trying hard to look for an app that will block unwanted sms. The thing is, though, every app has an icon in the app drawer whether it is a decoy icon or not.
Can one be made that blocks sms that doesn't show up in the app drawer?
I could really use one.
Thanks.

Try this app. It works in my experience. I use a home replacement app (ADW EX) to keep icons I don't want out of my drawer...

I use ADW EX as well... I just never bothered using the catalog thing. I like how the app has hidden mode. It's perfect!
Thanks again man!

Hmmm..if you are ok moving to another launcher, there is an option in Go Launcher if I am not wrong..
Nova launcher for ics has the lock desktop check box in the settings.

How can I add a reboot button ?
Power toggles app, for now. Unless someone manages to pry that mod to our device.
Btw, how many posts are you going to make?
I see you have a lot of questions, doesn't hurt to keep it all in one thread.

Thank you

I use holo reboot app from play store and with nova / apex / holo launcher use a gesture like double tap to launch it.
