my diamond reboots itself..!

Hi all,
just wondering is there anyone who experience same problem as mine..?
After couple of day of use, my diamond start to reboots itself without any reason.. i've done hard reset, didn't install any program. I have synced with my computer and that's all i've done and it just reboots on me!
it happens so randomly.. so i don't really see any direct cause..
usually happens when i open and try to edit contacts, or trying to reply sms..
doesn't happen very often though. after reset, it stays stable for a while.. and suddenly happens again next day.
any advice? should i try to re-install rom?
i got this from ebay overseas and i don't really want to go thru the hassle of sending back for a/s

When you hard reset, did you choose the option to clear 'Internal Storage' as well?

well, thanks to you too. i don't expect to get diamond in my country so ebay is kinda my only choice. hope you don't have to wait long

There's absolutely no need for that. They're clearly more enthusiastic about this device than you, so accept that - and they've found quite an interesting problem that hasn't been found before...

[Q] ROM Manager premium problem-how do i contact app dev?

I bought ROM manager premium through the paypal link in the app. Now that i've moved back to the N1 from the NS (i bought it when i was on the NS), i don't see any way to activate premium features without paying again. am i missing something?

I'm not a Twitter pro or anything... but I think as long as you preface your tweet by @koush, he'll see your message and will probably respond. He's a good guy and won't screw you over...so just get in touch with him.

Does the rom transfer between phones? Just asking--
Can you copy your TB backup or whole sd card from the s to n sd card so the n sees those apps and knows you have rom mgr

i don't have the ns anymore.

You can probably also get his email by clicking on 'Send email to the developer'.
Actually, just checked, you don't even have to click on it. His email is right there on the page.
You know every app on the Market has the developer's email, right?

Now i feel really dumb, esp. since i've gotten help from other app devs the same way in the past.

Honestly, after seeing your response the first time, I just felt so dumb. I didn't get the app from the market, but I should've known to check there anyway.

dude doesn't respond to tweets or emails. Starting to piss me off.

Just wanted to see if this got rectified? I recently did the reverse of the OP. Switched from the Nexus One up to the Nexus S. Premium isn't showing up on the NS.

nope. I just won't support the dev anymore. if one really wants to pay for this app, go thru the market. the dollar isn't worth the headache.

i changed rom and cannot activat premium features
will try to get money back from paypal (45days!)

If it were me, I would find alternative means of getting the software. You already paid for the license. If the dev don't wanna support his own product, either don't use it, or find another place to download it. There are many places to obtain android apps.

I don't like spreading this because I support the developers and truly appreciate the work they do. But I also don't like to see ppl cheated out of their money whether it was intentional or not. I'll tell you how to get that app from the market without paying. Just shoot me a pm.

I am another person who bought via PayPal, thinking it would save me $1 and put more $ in the developers pocket rather than the Android market taking it. I originally purchased it back in January 2011 and now cannot get my new device to show that it is the premium version without purchasing on the Android Market... No flash yet. Waiting for Adobe to finish version 10.2. They said a few weeks but we will see.

Soo... You buy things without doing an OUNCE of research or reading up beforehand? This has been mentioned and talked about a million times over the last 3 weeks. Seriously, go to Google and look up your questions before asking such obvious things.

**** if forums followed there moms rules there would be no forums. In a not so nice way he was just saying use forums as a last resort for problems. Its harder to work with people and help them when there are a million threads about how to put a widget on my home screen or how to turn this on. Most of use here love to help others. For 1) makes us fell smarter and 2) feeds our online egos. Some just forget what it was like when they first started getting into forums. But yes flash support will be coming as soon as they finish 10.2.

lol, to be completely honest this is the first time I ever hear about it. And no its not like + Im not into drinking and Im OFC not willing to die because of anything

Your invitation is very broad and because of this you may have difficulty having people respond to it. As funny as it sounds you may be able to get more to participate in the challenge and have it go on a bit longer if you ask for ideas from a certain category every week or month or so. Just an idea. Very cool idea though.
