I just downloaded SwiftKey Beta for my Nexus One, but every time I try to download a Language Pack, I get a small error message saying that the download was interrupted and I should try again, but it never works.
I'm running 2.2 and have tried on both WiFi and 3G.

Odd... I'd try the standard various troubleshooting first. A reboot, the uninstall and reinstall. I got SwiftKey without any problems.
Although they did say they had about 100k downloads a day since beta broke, so maybe their servers are feeling it?
It's a cool semantically-innovative way to type. Swype is fun to draw. In the end I'm still fastest and prefer a keyboard that doesn't have to do any prediction (currently using Better Keyboard)
download it from the market instead of using the apk file posted on the forum. works for me fine from the market but the apk i downloaded in the swift key beta thread i have the same problem
it works pretty good on my nexus one ..Nexus one is the best.
Okay so I was running CM6 RC1, and then I flashed a variation that did not include ADW.Launcher. Thus I downloaded ADW from the Market. Once I upgraded to RC2, I went back to the one that comes with, and uninstalled the Market version.
Whenever I open the Downloads section of the Market now, ADW appears on top, saying "FREE" but not installed. Every time I get a notification of updated apps, the count is one more than it should be (e.g. one app has an update, I get a notification for 2). I think it's counting ADW somehow.
I tried reinstalling and uninstalling it from the market but it still didn't break the link. Is there a way to force ADW off my Market downloads list?
In my experience it removes after a couple days.
Is there a location service fix for Android 2.2 Froyo? I enjoyed using google maps and earth on 2.1 but it doesnt work on 2.2
AI haven't been able to get it to work. In fact I don't think anyone on 2.2 has been able to get it working.
Can u get the latest Google earth (1.2.1 I think? From Market) to work on froyo? It FCs on me. I know it does not work on eclair (noted on NookDevs) but even for Frito I still can not get it to work.

Im on the leaked factory froyo, havent had any problems with swype in the months ive been on froyo. Installed "shootme" screen grab app, used it once, then moments later started getting the 3 vibrate error. Tried to open market to uninstall but the phone froze then shutdown. On reboot, phone was slow and continuously gave me 3 vibrate error. Switched to samsung keyboard because the buttons to the left and right of swype spacebar were blank, the error stopped and phone functions correctly on samsung keyboard. Uninstalled shootme, rebooted, tried to use swype, got the same error.. i feel naked without my swype...

I've been running Shoot Me and Swype with no problems. Have you installed the latest Swype beta? The previous versions expired. The new release comes with an installer that will keep it updated. If you haven't already, try doing it that way. You have to sign up with Swype to get the new beta.
beta.swype.com
Awesome, thanks for the help. One question, the website says "If your phone came pre-installed with Swype
DO NOT download this beta (it won't work)"
Am i missing something, or should i just do it?

Scratch that, swype is back up and running quicker than ever! Kreepyken, consider yourself my hero for the next few hours at least!

And now it has decided to give me the error again... serendipity time i suppose...
If you want to replace your Swype, you must first do the instructions from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12042627&postcount=5. Then sign up for the beta Swype (it's free) and follow the instructions there. Or like you said, just install a new Rom.
Well I went to the swype website last night, followed the directions, and got it working. That only lasted a few hours though before it reverted right back to giving me the same error. Something about a process "inputmethod". I wish I had the patience to try to rectify the problem in case somebody else has the same issue, however I decided it was just time for an upgrade
I got an email saying I was eligible to download a new beta version of swype before its release. It said since I'm currently using swype beta 3.6, I get to try out the newest version. I tried downloading it and it wouldn't do it at all. Anyone else get this email, and also able to actually download it?

I had to uninstall swype and swype installer and get the new swype installer (the email should have a link) to get it to install 3.25
Yeah, it said if I already had swype installer, which I do, to just uninstall my version of swype and use installer to update. I'll try what you said, to uninstall swype installer. Thanks for the tip. Btw, how is the new swype? Worth it?

Its the same as 3.6 but they fixed the "jumpy" cursor issue when you try to put it in the middle of a word. Its also supposed to have improved copy and paste but I haven't used it.

Well worth it in my opinion. The copy and paste is a great improvement and really well done. Also you can manage your own personal dictionary which is really nice.
Wait...3.25 is AFTER 3.6?

I had the same thought. Guess the swype team doesn't know how to count. Couldn't live without it though, so we'll let it slide

A lot of devs do it. 25 comes after 6
Think of it as 3.06 vs 3.25. Some programs don't let you put in the leading 0, so not much ado about it.
