I know it is discussed often, but I have run into a problem with Kies Mini when trying to update a fresh JF6 install to JH7.
Are others having the issue where after recognizing the device, and telling you an upgrade is available - when you agree to terms and it is about to download the files it tells you that a connection to the servers cannot be made?

EDIT: I was able to solve the problem by installing kies mini on my netbook and NOT allowing it to update to the newer version.
It took a second attempt but eventually it started to download.
You could have solved the original problem by trying again until it worked. The message means what it says and I have run into it on both versions of kies mini. Just keep trying.
Sent from my MB520 using XDA App
Try this. It worked for me.
At the home screen, click on the menu button
Go to Settings
Select "Applications"
Manage Applications
Hit the menu button and select "Filter"
Select "Running"
Find "Device Management" and select it
Press the "Clear data" button
Exit to the home screen and try the update again

On his phone, I found "Android Gingerbread 2.3.4" installed.... But mine has Android Gingerbread 2.3.6. Should I install 2.3.4 just for that option? There is no other way to add that option?

That seems system update notification from Google and not from the hell.
If tapping does not help as you say, then go to settings.
On the bottom of the list - Tap on "About Phone" and find System update.
Tap/Download/Update/Enjoy

Goggle did a thing (a while ago) where they down graded the first 7.1 update back to 7.0. They have recently released a "fixed" 7.1. Your bitcoin might be due to this weirdness.
You might try going to developer options and looking for "automatic system updates" and turning it off then rebooting. If rebooting doesn't do it, I'd clear cache (not data) in recovery. 1st boot takes longer since the device will have to rebuild the apps cache (optimizing apps).
Soooo, the last few days I'm facing the weirdest bug. The camera suddenly stops working it says camera failed, or that I cannot use the camera in more than one application. The thing is, I've tried everything. The bug persists in safe mode, I've done a factory reset, I've tried downgrading to another version of Android 12(previous update) via Odin, and still the same. And then all of a sudden, it starts to work again, and then breaks a few minutes/hours later. Any suggestions?

Hello ninokiller1915
Go to device maintenance - click on memory - Run now.
when done, close all open applications (if any) and restart your phone. that should help.

Still doesn't work. I've tried literally everything I've known.
Hey all,
I am very inexperienced with custom OS on Android and I was trying to install a lineageOS so that I can run octoprint on my tablet for my 3d printer. In doing so, I somehow deleted the stock OS.
Now my device either flashes the samsung logo (if I boot normally) or it can get to the download screen if I hold Power + Home + Vol Down. But I can't seem to get my computer to find the device, so I can't connect it with Odin. Do you know of any guides or threads you could point me to? Or how to fix this?
My model is SM-T713.
Thank you
I downloaded the stock firmware from here - https://github.com/ivanmeler/SamFirm_Reborn/releases/tag/0.3.6.3
I am trying to use odin to reflash it to my device, but it seems the device isn't being found.

Pressing Start in Odin does nothing. Is there something I am missing?
Fixed it, kind of. It was a bad cable. Switching out the cable allowed Odin to connect, it downloaded and passed, but it is still stuck on the samsung logo.
